Security agencies in the capital New Delhi sought increased checks for <b>explosive devices in the area around the federal parliament and buildings that house Prime Minister Manmohan Singhâs office among others</b>, according to a notice issued by the police. Indian Oil Corp., the countryâs largest refiner, has also stepped up security, a spokesman said.
