dhuji, Before ATS chief was shot in South Mumbai, he was on his way home after an intense meeting with the then Dy CM R R Patil's residence and was reportedly on verge of quitting the post because of the extreme political pressure on him.
Now was the political pressure from opposition types who'll always make noise if news not favorable to them - something a decorated officer could easily handle if facts were with him? Or the pressure from ruling leadership to extract a pre-desired result which didn't fit with the facts on ground?
