that particular panchatantra narrative shows a lomdi pretending to be paramatma, ie a dhongi; but there is no inkling of theology present. If we take right "belief" view of the narrative, we will conclude that "religion" is a tool for control which is a familiar allegation from the west. But the panchatantra narrative is not about that theme at all; in fact, it is showing how to go about the world where all kinds of characters abound and how to deal with so many varied situations and not at all about nature of paramatma.
If same narrative was transported to a religious culture, it would become theology - that is, an exposition about who is this paramatma that the lomdi is insinuating.
