By the very same reason that Maino cannot ascend the gaddi (that you seem to accept), her son too cannot become the P.M. Please familiarise yourself with that reason clearly.
Actually if my info is correct Kalam, on the basis of counsel from Dr.Subramanian Swamy, told Maino that if she insists on becoming the P.M. he would refer the matter to the S.C. That did it!
To That same Dr.Swamy when he approached the S.C. to disqualify Maino for lying about her education in the nomination form, the S.C. requested him not to insist. I wonder if the S.C. will have the courage to uphold the law of reciprocity. If not...?
