<!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin-->In New Delhi, Union Minister for Women and Child Development Renuka Chowdhry described the attack as âan attempt to Talibanise Indiaâ and said she would seek an explanation from the Karnataka government on the issue. âI am absolutely horrified at the insensitivity on the eve of Republic Day. I will seek an explanation from the Karnataka government as well as the self-styled Sri Ram Sena.â
âThis (the incident) is an attempt to Talibanise India. There is no place for these kind of acts in India as it is a democracy,â Chowdhry said, adding that the BJP leaders should condemn the incident. She said it is time for Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa to âwake upâ and take action against the culprits. <!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->Hyperventilating Renuka Chowdhary
I'd like to compare her current outbursts with those from her home state when actual elected officials went ahead to slap Taslima Nasreen, - Cong ruled state if I might add. Anyone with any records of comments by Minister of Women and Child development on assaulting Taslima?
