The Congress leaders in Delhi may not get tired of slamming the Sangh Parivar over the recent attack on some women at a Mangalore pub, but one of their own Chief Ministers is determined to enforce strict moral policing.
Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Wednesday created ripples of sorts by asserting that his Government would go all out to curb the âpub and liquor cultureâ in the State. It would include discouraging public display of affection (PDA) and visits to pubs.
âThe previous BJP Government had pushed the youth towards a pub culture and boys and girls roaming round in malls, holding hands. I want to end this culture,â he told reporters here on Wednesday.
