This Sivasthalam is Situated in Chennai-Banglore Highway ,100 Kms from Chennai . One has to take left on Kaveripakkam (next to kanchipuram) enroute to Sholingur for 7kms. This temple then can be reached 1km by walk from Iyampettaicheri Bus stop.

Sthalam : ThyagamugaCheri-Thisaimugacheri (Iyampettai Cheri)

Thisaimugan refers to Lord Brahma . Lord Vishnu Showed himself as paramapathanathar to Brahma hence the name Thisaimugacheri. Lord Narasimha After killing Demon Hiranya worshipped Lord shiva in this sthalam , hence the name Narasimheswarar.
