To berate his chronological age without admiring his intellectual calibre — which may be fashionable for a section of the chatterati (comprising non-voting classes) — is not only repugnant but also totally removed from the reality of the popular mood at the grassroots.

Starting with big-ticket economic reform, the ambitious highway development programme and rural roads project, to affordable farmer loans, ‘dial-108 for ambulance-at-your-doorstep’ scheme, the visionary river linking project — the BJP is several steps ahead of all parties in terms of practical ideas to make India a developed country by 2020.
