Folks, I want to post this for any one who talks about Loksatta and greateness of Mr. Jaya prakash Narayan. I got sick of well to read and decent people who thinks great about this fellow. He is using the innocence to his actual hidden agenda. Next time if some one refers his we can refer to this post. I did research whole day to convince few folks on BR.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
<b>Regarding JP and Loksatta, </b>it seems like a lot of folks have some concern due to my allegations. Well I am biased against him and hence no point in going over the same again and again. My view is mine and rest can have their views. I have provided the basis for my views in the previous pages of this thread.
However here is my research and please take what ever is worth taking.
This is the link from his web site
http://www.loksattamovement.org/org_structure.htm
Particular interest is
<b>Foundation for Democratic reforms in India-FDRI (US-based support group and resource centre)</b>
This is an NGO based in US and no wrong in it. Most of the members are desi folks with India interests like many of us here. Nothing wrong so far.
The following is a link that has a lot of other unrelated information ( ignore). IE can crash because of the size of the text file. However, you can save it and read it.

<b>The FDRI/Berkeley Conference on Indian Democracy held at the University of California, Berkeley, on September 26 and 27, 2008, had a 2-hour session on the human rights situation in the Indian state of Chhattisgarh.</b> The panel consisted of Justice Srikrishna (former Justice of the Indian Supreme Court), Vishwa Ranjan (DGP of Chhattisgarh), Nandini Sundar (Professor of Sociology, University of Delhi), Sunil Kumar (Editor, Daily Chhattisgarh) and Dipti Bhatnagar (Students for Justice in Chhattisgarh).

Chhattisgarh is the site of an ongoing conflict between Naxalites (Maoist insurgents) and state security forces, including the state-backed "Salwa Judum" vigilante army. Counterinsurgency programs have displaced over 300,000 tribals from their villages. The state security forces, including the Salwa Judum, have been implicated in many instances of extrajudicial killings, rapes, extortion, torture and theft from adivasis, the main inhabitants of the mineral rich southern part of the state. <b>Human rights activists who have criticized state actions, journalists reporting on state atrocities, and tribals resisting forced dislocation have been aribitrarily detained, harassed and/or imprisoned under the draconian Chhattisgarh Special Public Security Act of 2005, and accused of working for the Naxalites.</b> <i>{Mytake: How to help Naxals is the remote agenda}</i>
...
...
The Demands
Apart from the unconditional release of Dr. Binayak Sen and other political prisoners, community members also demanded that the Salwa Judum be disarmed, the Black Law (Chhattisgarh Special Public Security Act of 2005) be repealed, and the use of child soldiers in counter-insurgency measures be prohibited.

A lot of folks have a good understanding about many of the orgs above. I rest my case regarding the links of JP to what kind of NGOs are these.
Now I want to take a little bit further regarding JPs statement after recent blasts in Hyderabad (inside the Lumbinpark and Gokul chat). <i>{please do not ask me for links and proof again <!--emo&--><img src='style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo--> as I don't want to dig them}. </i>He said on TV that he neither want to condemn who did these not want to condemn government. A great statement.
Next if there are any great admirers of JP please enlighten this forum about what he thinks of Nation, nation state, national security and importance of armed forces etc. I don't see any such references in his free flowing lectures.<i><b>{My Take: he belongs to candle kissers}</b></i>

on slide 14 - Peopleâs Union for Civil Liberties (PUCL), New Delhi - This is actually a legal frontend for maoists and naxals.
People from AP may know another name called as Kannabhiram (AP Civil liberties association leader). He used to protest against any shooting of naxals or maoists.
My suspicions came 100% true and I am not bad in research after all <!--emo&--><img src='style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->

President K. G. Kannabiran {Many APites know this fellow}
General Secretary Pushkar Raj
To me JP is just a modern avatar of such folks and the dhimmis are just following him and wasting their votes and time. I rest my case.
