Yes indeed. This looks like a massive miscalculation on part of Mayawati, and can be her nemesis. She should remember how in the last assembly election all Hindus had withdrawn their candidature from Mau, including even BJP, giving a 100% support to BSP nominees, reason was because they saw Mayawati as hope against these muslim gundas who were running their jehad on SP support. She has underestimated this sentiment.
Anyone who can take on these Azamgadhi jehadis in purvanchal will get a full support of Hindus cutting across caste lines. BJP can hope to gain in these 12-15 seats between Gorakhpur to Varanasi, if they can shed their hesitation and make this openly their election issue. Modi, Varun, Yogi should make a pitched campaign.
