<b>156 reconvert to Hinduism</b>
<!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin-->Rourkela, Oct 23 : As many as 156 people from 30 families in Balishankara block of Sundergarh district have re-embraced Hinduism at a purification ceremony organised here by the Bajrang Dal.
Bajrang Dal leader Surendra Swarnakar said 156 people, comprising of 48 male and 108 female, belonging to Chrisitian community of Bana Degi, Kua Tangara, Lalu Ki Dihi, Sada Bahal, Baunsa Karna and Murukia village of Balishankar block returned to the original Hindu fold yesterday.
Mr Swarnakar said the re-converts were given lockets of Hindu Gods and Goddesses and new clothes before the purification ceremony.
Around five hundred people of from the six villages participated in a Kalas procession organised for the purpose.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->
