ââ¬ÅWe are often confronted with the task of examining a huge number of fake currency notes. We do it with all security features available in the literature and manuals. We have found that the features of the portrait of Mahatma Gandhi in the denominations of Rs. 1,000, 500 and 100 varied in genuine and fake notes,ââ¬Â said C.N. Bhattacharya, Director, Central Forensic Science Laboratory, Kolkata. Currency notes in the denominations of Rs. 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 500 and 1000 feature Gandhijiââ¬â¢s image.
