Husky saw this in your copy pasted post on Jan 23/09 while searching for something else.
Kishwar is a well known psec
Nizhal Yoddha wrote the line you refer to in my post #34. I had done a copy-and-paste of his entire entry at Rajeev2004 blog - which included that line - and put this into a quoteblock (where I only inserted things in purple). The quoteblock's bounds seem to have disintegrated after IF migrated to its new look.
(I think Nizhal may know about Madhu Kishwar too and that he meant the "nice person" and "gulp" sarcastically. This is just a guess on my part, of course.)
e.g. Madhu Kishwar : "The chauvinist nationalism of the RSS and Hindu Mahasabha, which found support among large sections of the Congress as well, was a key reason for the success of Jinnah." (Telegraph, 25/12/1990).
voiceofdharma...odhya/notes.htm
Had already read that in one of the comments at the above-linked Rajeev2004 blog entry back then and had consequently copied-and-pasted those comments themselves into #34 too.
But the reminder is welcome.
Quote:now what's a nice person like madhu kishwar doing in the midst of these rogues? or has she, gulp!, converted, too?
