Sena cites Nalini, says Gandhis have love only for such terrorists

Mumbai Attacking Rahul Gandhi for his reported comments that radical Hindu groups posed a greater threat

to India than the Lashkar-e-Toiba, the Shiv Sena on Monday asked why the Gandhi family had kept in touch with Rajiv’s assassin Nalini and whether they would do the same with Sadhvi Pragya (an accused in the Malegaon bomb blast). The Gandhis, the Sena said, had love only for Islamic and other terrorists.



“There is a massive conspiracy to decry the Hindus as terrorists in their own Hindustan. Sonia Gandhi’s family is the kingpin of the plot. Only the brains of Congressmen can conjure up rotten plans of labelling Hindus as terrorists,” charged an editorial in Saamna, the Sena’s mouthpiece, on Monday.



“If the Gandhi family is so much opposed to terrorists, then why did Rahul’s Italian mother show so much sympathy for her husband’s assailant Nalini?” it questioned, pointing to Rahul’s sister Priyanka Vadra meeting the latter in jail. “...it is an unsolved puzzle as to why Rajiv’s wife is keeping sweet relations with these LTTE assailants. Then, considering the affection with which you met Nalini, did you meet (Malegaon blasts accused) Sadhvi Pragya with the same affection?” the editorial questioned.
