Islam in action. More glimpses into the life of dhimmis when among True muslims. (Makes you totally want to avoid wondering what life for kidnapped dhimmis was like in earlier times - like back when islamania kidnapped people from all over, turned them into slaves and stole - "imported" - them into alien territory.)

And there are still islamics and crypto-christists desperately trying to peddle to unsaved kaffirs that "lower caste" Hindus chose to convert to the "egalitarian" "brotherhood" of islamania. There's a *reason* no sane person even countenances such a preposterous claim.

Riyadh, Feb 19 (IANS) A Sri Lankan maid, who was made to serve virtually as a slave by her Saudi sponsor for 17 years, has been rescued by officials of the Sri Lankan embassy in Saudi Arabia.Kusuma Nandini, 56, who had arrived in Riyadh in 1994, was kept as a slave at her sponsorââ¬â¢s home. She was not paid salary even once during the years of her enforced imprisonment at her employerââ¬â¢s house and was forbidden from communicating with her relatives in Sri Lanka, Arab News quoted Sunil Wijesinghe, labour welfare officer at the Sri Lankan embassy, as saying.
Nandini was kept at one home for 15 years and then transferred to the home of her sponsorââ¬â¢s brother.
At one point of time, she thought she would be permanently imprisoned in the house, Nandini said. ââ¬ÅI did not see sunlight during the past 17 years since no one took me out.ââ¬Â
At her employerââ¬â¢s brotherââ¬â¢s house she was given a salary for two years, the official said.
A traumatised Nandini could not speak her native tongue when she was rescued and ââ¬Åbehaved like a robotââ¬Â. She had even forgotten her family members, said Wijesinghe.
ââ¬ÅAfter meeting other Sri Lankans at the embassy, the maid began remembering things and started picking up her native language,ââ¬Â he added.
The Sri Lankan embassy learned about Nandiniââ¬â¢s plight after her 25-year-old daughter, who lives in Kalutara, 40 km from Colombo, informed the foreign ministry that her family had not been in contact with her mother for 17 years.
The officials were able to track her down and bring her to the embassy.
Nandini, who came to Saudi Arabia to earn money to pay for her childrenââ¬â¢s education, said: ââ¬ÅI came to Riyadh when my eldest daughter was eight years old. Now she is 25. My son was six years at the time.ââ¬Â

Quote:Sri Lankan maid kept as slave for 17 years in Saudi Arabia
Feb 20th, 2011
The Sri Lankan Embassy rescued an Sri Lankan maid who was kept as a virtual slave by her Saudi sponsor for 17 years on Wednesday.
Kusuma Nandini, 56, came to Riyadh in 1994 and was kept a virtual prisoner at her sponsorââ¬â¢s home. She was not paid salary even once during 15 years of her imprisonment and forbidden from communicating with her relatives in Sri Lanka. ââ¬ÅThis is a record breaking case in the history of housemaids in the Kingdom. This woman was kept as a slave at one home for 15 years and then transferred to the home of her sponsorââ¬â¢s brother. There she was given a salary for two years,ââ¬Â said Sunil Wijesinghe, labor welfare officer at the Sri Lankan Embassy.
According to diplomats, Nandini had forgotten her native tongue when she was rescued and behaved like a robot. ââ¬ÅShe couldnââ¬â¢t speak her native language and had forgotten her family members when she was rescued,ââ¬Â said Wijesinghe.
ââ¬ÅAfter meeting other Sri Lankans at the embassy, the maid began remembering things and started picking up her native language,ââ¬Â he added.
The Sri Lankan Embassy learned about Nandiniââ¬â¢s plight after her 25-year-old daughter, who lives in Kalutara, some 40 km from Colombo, informed the Sri Lankan Foreign Ministry that her family had not been in contact with her mother for 17 years.
Embassy officials visited the home of Nandiniââ¬â¢s sponsor and those who lived there denied she was there. Officials persevered and were able to subsequently track her down and bring her to the embassy.
ââ¬ÅI came to Riyadh when my eldest daughter, Yamuna Vinodini, was eight years old. Now she is 25 years old. My son Ravika Priyankara was six years at the time,ââ¬Â Nandini told Arab News, adding that she came to the Kingdom to earn money to pay for her childrenââ¬â¢s education as her husband was not in proper employment at the time.
ââ¬ÅI am very happy and thankful to the mission in Riyadh for having rescued me from this house where I was working like a machine,ââ¬Â she said, adding that she thought there was no point in thinking of her home in Sri Lanka as she was permanently imprisoned in the house.
ââ¬ÅI did not see sunlight during the past 17 years since no one took me out,ââ¬Â she said.
The embassy is currently taking up the matter with the authorities concerned to get the maidââ¬â¢s outstanding salary, which stands at SR54,000. Nandini has, however, managed to save SR7,200 which she received in wages from her sponsorââ¬â¢s brother. She does not have a passport or a resident certificate to prove she was working in the Kingdom, Arab News reports.
(Saudi Arabians confiscate passports. This is well-known. It helps in retaining the kidnapped as slaves. And yes, it is done exactly for such reasons as the above-demonstrated Deniability: to deny that the victims were ever there and to deny that islamania - which has turned Arabians into barbaric demons - victimises foreigners, especially heathens imported as "servants" and ending worse than "slaves".
Lying islamaniac Saudi govt will have you believe that Kusuma Nandini never lost 17 years of her life. But christoislamania is famous for being the ideology of compulsive lying.)
And there are still islamics and crypto-christists desperately trying to peddle to unsaved kaffirs that "lower caste" Hindus chose to convert to the "egalitarian" "brotherhood" of islamania. There's a *reason* no sane person even countenances such a preposterous claim.
