With the last flight of the Space Shuttle in July 2011, there is no longer any reusable spacecraft for the US.
I fail to understand why this came to an end without a replacement/upgraded spacecraft technology in place . Economics is cited as reason, but is it the actual reason? How does space shuttle economics compare with that of war economics of US, in which there is so much wanton play?
