Isolated Karnataka Governor HR Bhardwaj has finally buckled under pressure from all quarters and has invited Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa for a meeting in Bangalore on Wednesday. Bhardwaj is now expected to accept Yeddyu-rappaââ¬â¢s request to convene a session of the State Assembly and allow him to take a floor test to prove his majority.
Bhardwaj was left with no option after the Centre ââ¬Årefusedââ¬Â to proceed on his recommendation to dismiss the BJP Government whose strength swelled from 109 to 122 in the Assembly after Supreme Court quashed dismissal of 11 rebel party MLAs by the Speaker.
There were unconfirmed reports that ââ¬Ëlet downââ¬â¢ by the Centre, Bhardwaj may put pressure on the Congress leadership to relieve him of his gubernatorial assignment and accommodate him in the Union Cabinet during the forthcoming reshuffle. http://www.dailypioneer.com/339474/Dejec...-quit.html
