And on the other matter. That several of Dr Swamy's suggestions above are downright silly and meaningless are surely obvious to anyone. (It wouldn't have mattered if he said this in private, but he should make what he said in public count.)
E.g. it does not suffice that anti-Hindu Indians of the terrorist ideologies should merely "acknowledge that their ancestors were Hindus": many (Goan christians and Indian islamics) already do that. But they still work at full throttle to exterminate Hindu religion from the country. It's because they believe that whatever Gods their ancestors may have adhered to in the past, these were "false gods" and that all Hindus should be made to accept the "one true gawd". <- That's commandment #1 of christoislamism. Quite easy to understand.
Another example. Suggesting that the singing of the Vande Mataram be made compulsory is of no avail either. Obviously Swamy has failed to understand christoislamism, else he wouldn't have suggested it.

As just said, it's ultimately a useless statement that India be declared "a Hindu Rashtra in which non-Hindus can vote only if they proudly acknowledge that their ancestors were Hindus. Rename India Hindustan as a nation of Hindus and those whose ancestors were Hindus". What's there in the statement that christoislamiterrorism could object to? They can always turn India into a "darul-islam/India-for-christ" being "a nation of those whose ancestors *were* Hindus (but whose descendants are so no longer, and proud)". I.e. Hindustan-for-Jeebusjehovallah, the land of ex-Hindus. <- That still entirely satisfies the parameters of Swamy's request.
If people are going to make (well-nigh) unrealistic demands, make the right ones to plan towards. (If you're going to plant seeds of ideas/objectives into people's minds from your influential position, it should be meaningful objectives. Them being unrealistic is not a problem in itself, but them being worthwhile *is* essential.) So make the right demands, especially when the christowest is going to silence you either way shortly after: apparently they boo-ed at Swamy and implied he - and by extension Hindus, whom he is seen to represent - was a bigot. He may as well have said something to deserve it: reverted his family and then declared that Hindus' intent should be to revert the nation. And mean it when he says it.
I'm not "against Swamy" - I don't know him (though his acquisition of relations does nothing to win trust.)
But he aims to speak for and guide Hindus. And he seems to do some other things right.

At the end of the day, they don't go back to multicultural families and do not live with (nor would they survive with) mutually-exclusive religions. This is not politics for them. This is their future. He better be worthy of those whose trust he wishes to gain. Yet how can he be, when he is so unrepresentative on such an important point...
