Fight against misspellings
Sir: I am aware that English is not our mother tongue and Pakistanââ¬â¢s literacy rate is quite low but when people use wrong spellings on banners, it really irritates me. I saw an anti-corruption banner on the Mall Road the other day, which read: ââ¬ÅGo Couruption Goââ¬Â. We have also seen ââ¬Ëcondemnââ¬â¢ misspelled as condomââ¬â¢ by some religious groups in their banners. I would just like to make a request to all those who participate in rallies and/or otherwise put up banners: please use a dictionary before wasting your precious money on banners/posters. It would not cost you much and will also save you from being mocked.

Cheers
