Superb lecture from Indic perspective, and very informative!!
However, Sri Gurumurthy is quite a bit off on two very important aspects/events of the Western world -- the Stars Wars programme, and 9/11. But that is very understandable as they do not belong to his core areas of interest. Also, although of great geopolitical importance, they are of minor significance to what he was conveying in the lecture.
