It is a typographical error, It should read the NDA may not be able to give a serious challange to the UPA.There are certain elements within the NDA that may change side on the eve of the general elections. In fact, the need of the hour is that bth NDA and UPA should have some new and young leaders , who can induct fresh energy in both the parties. Unfortunately, no one is in sight at the moment.
As common people see it, there isnot much difference in the style of functioning of both NDA and UPA. No third alternative is in sight, in fact most of the leaders of the various state level parties are3 so much engaged in lical issues that they are unable to think on national level.However, at the end of the day we may see some surprise, one can never predict the moves and counter moves of our politicians.
