(Warning: having caught some seconds, the video presenter[s] employ a ghastly "English"(?) For their sake, hopefully they do still remember how to speak in at least one Indian language properly - by which I mean not like their pathetic "English" - and that they didn't turn their pseudo-English into their primary language... Because that last would be laughable. Actually, the monolingual "english"-speaking India that christos and christoconditioned have envisioned for the nation would be laughable, and deserves to get laughed at. I can just see that future where every Indian sounds like an idiot in the only language they know. I suppose that's what people get when they dump their own languages in favour of a single alien one which they moreover suck at. It's clearly too much to ask that people at least try not to suck? It's like all of Indian English-language TV suffers from some speech impediment.

Gah what a lethal accent. It's so utterly unnatural and contrived. So very modern Indian TV. Just craptastic. And *this* is what they've been replacing their native language news media on TV with? Puke-fare?

Native Indian language speakers should protest and demand native-English speakers - i.e. foreigners - rather than Indian wannabes on their screens. Just 'cause the masses can't get Indian languages on these channels doesn't mean they should have to suffer through remedial "English" and thus be doubly shortchanged.

And that's *another* reason I don't want a subscription to satellite "Indian" TV. Besides the content, it sounds way more alien than "foreign" TV.)
