Ignoring the news by IndiaToday, the christowestern international media will doubtless rather be spinning on the "BJP is to 'actually' to blame" stories, as revealed very importantly at the following site (via a comment at rajeev2004blog) that deconstructs how the NYT lied (exactly as it did before on Yugoslavia, where it was also lied for US govt purposes via NYT, since unstable distant govts are very important for the US) in declaring the Muzaffarnagar riots were triggered by Modi becoming BJP's PM candidate - NYT thereby implying that the riots were triggered Backwards In Time, of course (note "Backwards In Time" claims are a unique staple of proselytising religions):

Harris clearly tries to imply that the nomination of Modi as BJP’s PM candidate sparked off the Muzzafarnagar riots. Sounds a lot like our very own Diggy, doesn’t he? Here’s what he starts with:

“India’s most important election in a generation began in earnest this month the same way consequential elections nearly always start here — with a proclamation and a deadly riot. In New Delhi, the Bharatiya Janata Party announced last week that it had chosen Narendra Modi, one of the most divisive politicians in India’s history, as its candidate for prime minister in next spring’s national elections. Mr. Modi, the chief minister of the western state of Gujarat, is an unapologetic Hindu chauvinist who has been accused of mass murder”. So the “proclamation” is connected to a deadly riot – the Muzzafarnagar one. Of course, Harris doesn’t forget to state Modi has been “accused of mass murder”. Now who has accused Modi of this? Not a court and not even an FIR. It is scumbags like Harris in the Indian media who have done this; most prominently Vir Sanghvi and Rajdeep Sardesai. Bravo, second-hand crap is passed off as gospel. Not coincidentally, mass rioting broke out last week in Uttar Pradesh, India's most populous and politically important state, after a legislator from Mr. Modi's party circulated a fake video of two Hindus being lynched by a muslim mob. Forty-four-people-were-killed (linked) and 42,000 were displaced as villages were sacked.

Okay, in the above para he links to an article about the Muzzafarnagar riots. This is from his own NYT barn. That linked article is “Fear and loathing in North India’s sugarcane town”. Nice! Very nice! Harris also states the riots were due to a “fake video” by a legislator from Modi’s party. See? This guy is a fast learner. Bad things it’s Modi’s Gujarat, Modi’s aide, Modi’s right-hand man. Good things? It’s Gujarat or Gujarat govt. I guess this guy must have attended classes at NDTV and CNN-IBN. Anyway, here’s what the article he linked says:

So the riots, which actually started in August, escalated on September 7 as the NYT report says. Modi was nominated PM candidate on Friday the 13 th. Yet, like the usual Indian liars in our own media Harris makes a fake connection.

Harris refers to the established - established by several media outlets - of an islamic-mob's murder of two Hindu brothers who got angry at the assault on their sister. He's insinuates the event itself was "not real", yet that the Hindu reaction to it "was real" - a la how the international christowestern news, peddling the Congress - had earlier declared Hindus on the train "spontaneously combusted" instead of recognising that these had been deliberately burnt by an islamaniac mob, before declaring that "then Hindus rioted" in Godhra against innocent islam which was "merely blamed" for the spontaneous conflagaration.



Wasn't the NYT among the US govt mouthpieces on erstwhile Yugoslavia as well? Who were so ready to repeat - on US govt demand - about the fictive "systematic Serbian Rape of Albanian Islamics" , only to print a tiny retraction on page Z, oodles of time later (to quieten conscience or for future posterity perhaps: don't want US govt to be seen as the architects of genocide they are after all)?



Yes, the NYT and other US papers and the US govt. Manufacturing consent again. The "Hindus deserve to get genocided by islam" - paraphrasing the US govt under Nixon - "but make sure it is silent". And the victim-perpetrator reversal game (also seen in Godhra). Not to mention goebbelsian lying in broad daylight.



I'm not surprised "journalist" Harris lied through his teeth about dates (but what won't these guys lie about?) and by all accounts NYT wouldn't let readers comment back with facts, which just proves that this is US govt policy/Manufacturing Consent time: they want the international readers of NYT to take a side, the one that the US govt wills them to take. It is the *wrong* side for all those who love truth, hence the necessary suppression of facts (aka Manufacturing Consent).



- Remember, "Freedom of Speech" (which includes especially but not overtly-stated the "Freedom To Lie With Impunity") is only for the christowest - and, when convenient, for christoconverts of the 3rd world (E Timor was clearly inconvenient and so will Indian christism be when US greenlights that islam may make mughalstan out of India).

- For the heathens, the rule applied is "You have the Right to Remain Silent (and to be ethnically cleansed and genocided in silence)". As exhibited by the New York Times etc.
