In more recent news,
- France has announced that it has prevented 5 major (islamic) terrorist attacks.
- Australian news mentioned a jihadi of Cambodian and Fijian Indian extraction: one Neil Prakash* renamed himself to Something-al-Cambodi, who had heard the call of IS and wanted to start islamic state/khalifate in Australia.
* Note the name of the Cambodian-Indian: "Neil Prakash", surname indicates Hindu origins, firstname shows that he had first been converted to christian terrorism after which it was a small step to convert to islamania. (So many once-heathens who have converted to christianism readily convert to islamania, as also seen in India. At best, christianism is a stepping stone from one christian cult to another to finally end in islam. This seems to be the plan of the west in converting Asia.)

Islamists storm Mogadishu hotel with gov't officials inside
Islamist militants blasted their way into a popular hotel in the Somali capital Mogadishu on Friday, killing at least seven people and trapping government officials inside, police and witnesses said.
Police surrounded the Hotel Maka Al Mukaram, but heavy gunfire from militants prevented them from mounting a rescue operation. The remains of two destroyed cars could be seen at the gates of the building.
"The hotel is now fully under the control of the militants," Major Ismail Olow, a Mogadishu police officer at the scene, told Reuters. "Al Shabaab fighters are on the top of the building and inside the hotel. It is not easy for us to go in."

NEWS WIRES
Gunmen killed 13 passengers travelling on a bus in Afghanistan on Tuesday, underlining the country's fragile security situation as President Ashraf Ghani holds talks with the United States in Washington.
The attack in Wardak province, which lies close to Kabul, is the latest to hit civilians in Afghanistan's still-bloody conflict.

Islamic State recruits 400 children since January: Syria monitor
Reuters
Islamic State has recruited at least 400 children in Syria in the past three months and given these so-called "Cubs of the Caliphate" military training and hardline indoctrination, a monitoring group said on Tuesday.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said the children, all aged under 18, were recruited near schools, mosques and in public areas where Islamic State carries out killings and brutal punishments on local people.
One such young boy appeared in a video early this month shooting dead an Israeli Arab accused by Islamic State of being as spy. A French police source said the boy might be the half-brother of Mohamed Merah, who killed three soldiers, a rabbi and three Jewish children in Toulouse in 2012.
