It is gratifying to see Kaushal's seminal work being recognized in India. Along with your SS theory which has now gone "mainstream," I read one Professor Rao's (Kirkville, MO) article on 'co-dependency,' a relationship characterized by an abused wife hoping that the recidivist husband will mend his ways after apologizing for the nth time, a la Pakistan and India.
