The EU President, Herman Van Rompuy, had proclaimed 2009 as the “first year of global governance.” That it has been spoken of using different terminologies, as New World Order (George Bush Senior, 1991), as New Global Order (Gordon Brown, 2008), as Global Financial Constitution (Gordon Brown, 2010) as One World Government, or as Global Financial System, does not take away the fact that history is in the making, and there is nothing pretty about it.[/size][size="3"]
