Attack in Mumbai
<b>U.S. Intelligence Focuses on Pakistani Group</b>

<!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin-->WASHINGTON — American intelligence and counterterrorism officials said Friday there is mounting evidence that a Pakistani militant group long focused on the conflict in Kashmir, most likely Lashkar- e-Taiba, is responsible for the deadly attacks in Mumbai.

The American officials cautioned that they have reached no hard conclusions about who was responsible for the operation, as well as how it was planned and carried out. Nevertheless, they said that evidence gathered over the past two days pointed to a role for Lashkar-e-Taiba, or possibly another Pakistani group based in Kashmir, Jaish-e-Muhammad.

The American officials insisted on anonymity in describing their current thinking declined to discuss the intelligence information that they said pointed to Kashmiri militants.

<b>Mudy Ji :</b>

You are suffering from an acute attack of Childish Frustration.

Your use of derogatory terms will not make an iota of difference.

I trust you are aware that Five Punjabi Muslims Students led by Rehmat(?) Ali led to the “Idea and then the formation of Pakistan”.

They did not achieve their aim by hurling derogatory terms.

How about starting a manly thing, start a petition singing songs for PM of India, and honor him with highest reward. That will give grown up some pleasure and label of maturity.

<b>Massacre in Mumbai: Up to SEVEN gunmen were British and 'came from same area as 7/7 bombers'</b>

<!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin-->British-born Pakistanis were among the Mumbai terrorists, Indian government sources claimed today, as the <b>death toll rose to at least 155</b>.

As many as seven of the terrorists may have British connections and some could be from Leeds and Bradford where London's July 7 bombers lived, one source said.
Two Britons were among eight gunmen being held, according to Mumbai's chief minister Vilasrao Deshmukh. At least nine others are reportedly dead.

The eight arrested were captured by commandos after they stormed two hotels and a Jewish centre to free hostages today. Despite the Indian authorities' assurances that the situation was under control, the siege continued at the Taj Mahal hotel and explosions could still be heard in central Mumbai.

One security official said: 'There is growing concern about British involvement in the attacks.'

But Gordon Brown has urged caution. He emerged from a conversation with India's Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to say there was no suggestion of a British link.

I do not guarantee that we will find a solution by discussing on theis Forum but a serious discussion is the need the hour.

I can only sufggest the following :

1. Stop issuing India Visit Visas to Pakistanis.

2. Ask the Pakistani Government - as well as the Indian Authorities should make serious efforts - to have all the Illegal Pakistani Immigrants who have overstayed their "India Visit Visa" to return to Pakistan.

3. No more Indian Cricket or other Sporting Teams to visit Pakistan as also no more Pakistani Cricket or other Sporting Teams to visit India.

4. No more Pakistani Artists - Actors etc. including the Mujrah Artists from Lahore's Hira Mandi Whorehouse Bai Ji Kay Kothas to visit India.

Repeat the above with Bangladeshis.

During Sikh terrorism days, In Jalandhar, people used to tie donkey legs with empty cans and Punjab police pagri on Donkey's (<i>Khota </i>in Punjabi) head. And give one kick to donkey to run. That was cruel on donkey but used to give lot of pleasure to kid like me to laugh on something and bring out of trauma during those tough days.

I am surprised people are giving all type of excuse as if Moron Singh is under influence of some sort of Voodoo or Black Magic. If he can't man up, he better quit.

<!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin-->Gujarat CM gets the royal cold shoulder in state
29 Nov 2008, 0221 hrs IST, ET Bureau

MUMBAI: At every step of his visit to Mumbai following the terror attacks, Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi was shown very clearly that he was not welcome.

Perhaps the strongest rebuff came from the wife of slain ATS chief Hemant Karkare, who refused to meet him in Mumbai on Friday evening. Mr Modi was critical of ATS chief Hemant Karkare’s investigation of the Malegaon blasts.

Earlier in the day, the Gujarat CM whipped up a mini-storm by visiting the terror attack sites even before Maharashtra chief minister Vilasrao Deshmukh. Mr Modi’s comments evoked a sharp response from the ruling Congress. Mr Modi not only criticised Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Maharashtra chief minister Vilasrao Deshmukh, but also announced a Rs 1-crore relief for families of the deceased policemen.

He accused Mr Singh of not doing enough to expose Pakistan’s violation of a UN convention. ”This is the first time Pakistan has allowed the use of sea routes to further terrorism against India I hope the government will take it up at the appropriate level with the global community,” Mr Modi said outside the Oberoi hotel.

He asked the Centre to strongly take up with the international community Islamabad’s ”blatant violation” of a UN convention in this regard. Mr Modi said India and Pakistan were signatories to the UN convention that prohibits use of sea and land boundaries and weapons for terrorism. Pakistan’s marine police is confiscating Indian fishing boats, which are now being used for acts of terror, he said.

Terming as “disappointing” Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s address to the nation on Thursday, Mr Modi said the Centre should immediately call a meeting of chief ministers to take stock of the situation and work out an effective policy to strengthen the coast guard and navy.

Mr Modi didn’t spare his counterpart in Maharashtra either. He claimed he was denied entry into the region by chief minister Vilasrao Deshmukh and his deputy. “I wanted to visit Mumbai on Thursday itself. But Maharashtra chief minister Vilasrao Deshmukh and his deputy denied me permission,” he said. Later, Mr Deshmukh who was following Mr Modi, returned the favour saying, “Some people can’t resist using every occasion for political gains. Mr Modi is one such person.”

Mr Deshmukh made it clear that security agencies said ‘no’, not just to Mr Modi. Mr Singh too was advised not to visit places “yet to be sanitised”. He said the state government requested the prime minister not to visit the site of gun battles, and the PM instead went to JJ Hospital to talk to the injured last night. “But Mr Modi insisted on visiting these places,” he said.

Asked to comment on Mr Modi’s assessment of the PM’s address as “disappointing”, the CM said, ”It is not fair to make political statements.” Asked why his government could not stop Mr Modi from coming, Mr Deshmukh said: “Marathi culture does not allow that.”

Minister of state for home SP Jaiswal criticised the Gujarat chief minister for his “untimely” remarks. “Isn’t it ironic that the same Mr Modi was critical of ATS chief Hemant Karkare for his investigation of the Malegaon bomb blasts? And he now had to go to his house to pay tribute,” he said.

<b>Mudy Ji :</b>

Now you are talking – so the real Mudy Ji has come out in the open!

Here is a list (I am sure it is not complete) of some of the Posters on this thread-topic.

Please <b>send them a List by PM</b> and ask them to put their “inputs” :

Shambhu, k.ram, Bharatvarsh, Bodhi, Pandyan, Viren, l_Srini, shamu, raman, ravish, Husky, rraajjeevv, Hauma Hamiddha, dhu, Dara Singh, agnivayu, brahma, rhytha, rudradev. shamu,

Alternatively have all the above add to the List.

Once we have a “A Semblance” of a “List” then we can send it “around”.

It may not achieve the desired result in full but, hey, we will have made a start.
