I don't think a coconut like Jindal can become president. His base is the right-wing Xtian nuts. While they may vote for him in Louisiana which is a very racially divisive Black-White State, in other Midwestern states/Texas etc they won't vote for him. Also his rivals in the Republican party should plant rumors that he is a Hindu. This will scare the superstitious Evangelicals to stay away from him.

In the next three years, however, all the 491 postal code areas in the state gained entry into the church map." This was possible due to the research and survey conducted by Brother Issac Dutta, research coordinator, Punjab, Operation Agape. "God gave me the burden of Punjab in 1997. I started my research in 1997. My team and I visited 1,100 Christian workers in the whole of Punjab, collecting data from them on who was working in different villages, blocks and districts," Dutta explained.

The North India Harvest Network, also started by Abraham, used the 'Pin Code survey' conducted by the Indian Missions Association, Chennai, to generate ethno-graphic data in the North Indian states. The data has armed the US intelligence agencies for they now have unparalleled access to the remotest corners of India and are-again, pincer like-bringing areas into "the fold" by secretly unleashing pastors in different blocks and districts.

Â· It was Brahma himself who kidnapped Sita. Since Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva were themselves the victims of lust, it is a sin to consider them as Gods. (page 39)

Â· When the Trinity of Hinduism (Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva) are consumed by lust and anger, how can they liberate others. Their projection as Gods is nothing but a joke. (page 39).

Â· When Vishnu asked Brahma to commit a sin, he immediately did so. How can such a âevil brahmaâ be a Creator of this Universe? How is it possible for both the sinner and the entity which provoked the sin to be gods? (page 39)

Â· God, please liberate the sinful people of India who are worshipping False Gods that believe in the pleasures of illicit âVyabichariâ relationships. (Page 39).

2. All the 16 incidents that took place were not attack on Churches. In fact, unauthorized prayer halls were attacked where the blasphemous pamphlets were distributed and aggressive proselytisation was taking place. These 16 incidents were not localized but took place across three districts of Mangalore, Udupi and Chikmagalur.

3. The only place where attacks took place apart from New Life Prayer Halls was at a small prayer hall in the premises of Milagres Church in Mangalore, where some miscreants had damaged a Jesus idol. The VHP and the Bajrang Dal have condemned the attack at this place. Following this incident, a Christian mob gathered and the situation went out of control as the mob started pelting stones and disrupting traffic. The police was forced to intervene and this resulted in unsavoury violence.

4. Since the past two days, it is not Hindu-Christian clashes that are taking place. In fact, it is more appropriate to call itâChristian-Policeâ clashes since the Christians holed up in Churches have engaged themselves in pelting of stones and disruption of traffic. The Police were forced to enter the Church to clear the mob and they found arms inside the Church.

5. Incidents of Stabbing were reported in around four or five places across Mangalore district. In fact, an activist belonging to Shri Ram Sena was stabbed which led to a bandh call by Shri Ram Sena â a Hindu outfit that is not connected to Sangh Parivar.

6. The VHP and the Bajrang Dal have condemned the desecration of Jesus idol at the prayer hall adjacent to the Milagres Church in Mangalore. They have also clarified that they are not against the Catholic faith and the Churches. However, they have clarified that the public outcry would continue as long as illicit conversion activities and blasphemy of Hindu gods take place.

7. Even the Kandhmahal murder â which involved the killing of Hindu monk Swami Lakshmananda by missionaries â seems to have caste a shadow on this incident since the general public seems to have seen through Christian aggression.

8. It may be recalled that there was a public outcry against illegal prayer halls in Davanagere district last week. In that case, the administration had closed the unauthorized prayer halls that were mushrooming in the region.

"It has come to the knowledge of the state government that some organisations are using foreign funds, they are getting, for conversion of majority Hindus into Christianity," Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa charged and declared that such things would not be allowed.

"In the backdrop of reports about forcible conversions in parts of the state, which led to attacks on churches, the government has ordered a scrutiny of such accounts which receive foreign funds for conversion," he told reporters after chairing a high-level meeting to review the law and order situation in the troubled areas.

Attributing conversions as the main reason for Sunday's attack on churches and prayer halls in parts of two coastal districts and Malnad region's Chikmagalur, he said he had ordered an enquiry into the foreign funds that were being deployed for conversions.

Yeddyurappa charged the opposition Congress and JD(S) with attempting to destabilise his government and also rejected their demand for a judicial probe into the attack on churches.

He also rejected the opposition demand for his resignation and that of Home Minister Dr V S Acharya and shot back asking, "will the UPA government quit office because of terror strikes?"

Yeddyurappa said that the attacks had taken place in areas where there was conversion activity taking place and said stern action would be taken against those responsible.

Despite the mounting tension, Mangalore, the scene of violent protests remained calm on Tuesday and observed a bandh called by the Sri Ram Sena. Shops, business establishments and educational institutions remained closed, police said.

They said about 170 persons have been arrested in connection with the attacks on churches in Mangalore, Udupi and Chikmagalur.

As a precautionary measure, the authorities extended the prohibitory orders clamped in Mangalore till September 19. On Sunday, the ban order was imposed for three days.

BANGALORE: The roots of New Life Church, which was targeted by Hindu activists in Karnataka for allegedly being involved in conversions, can be traced to the USA with headquarters in Colorado Springs.

The New Life Church is a non-denominational Evangelical Protestant Christian church with subsidiaries in India and other South East Asian countries.

According to sources, in India, New Life Foundation, inspired by Ted Haggard, is active in Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu.

Pastor Haggard, who founded New Life in 1984 in the United States, however, had to quit the Church a couple of years ago for allegedly buying drugs and hiring a male prostitute for a massage.

Sources said the church in India has borrowed literature from the New Life Church in the US.

However, sources from New Life Churches in India said they have no connection with the New Life Church chain in the US.

Joshua, chief instructor, Ministries, New Life Church, told to this website's newspaper, "U M Samuel and his wife Somi began the chain in Mangalore, Karnataka in 1980s and then spread it to Bangalore later. The church has ministries working in Bangalore, Mangalore, Udupi and has a training centre in Kamanahalli.

The operations of these branches are funded by its institutions in US, UK and Denmark" "The church does not come under conventional churches, it does not work under any diocese, and it has good relations with high ranking clergy of all sects. The church preaches Catholic Christianity and undertakes missionary work," said Joshua

As Bajrang Dal claims, the basic reason for its ire against the New Life prayer halls, is a book titled 'Satya Darshini' where the Hindu gods and goddesses have been shown in a bad light hurting the religious sentiments...

According to Bajrang Dal state convener Mahendra Kumar, this âhumiliating literatureâ is being circulated among the society encouraging conversion of Hindus.

As per the available pages of âSatya Darshini,â the book has been originally written in Telugu (Ruju Darshini) by one Rev Paravastu Sooryanarayana, which has been translated to Kannada by Sriramreddy of Bangalore, and revised by Rev Samson S Malekar of Davangere. The editor of the book is A G Prakash of Suvarta Sevadal, Bellary.

Rev Paravastu Sooryanarayana published the original book through his Karunamaya Ministries, based in Hyderabad. According to the book, he took his birth in a traditional Brahmin family and was educated in Jagannathamutt Vidyapeeth. He was the chief priest (archak) in Sri Lakshminarayanaswamy Temple, and later embraced the teachings of Jesus Christ.

In his book, Sooryanarayana interprets select verses (shlokas) from various Hindu epics and explains why did he dislike the religion, the gods and goddesses. Analysing one such verse, the books states âLike human beings, the divine people also commit sins. Nara and Narayan did the same..... In fact, Rama and Krishna are not at all divine incarnations. They took birth like humans, committed sins and experienced its after effects. Hence, they are not gods and cannot give salvation (mukthi)...â (page 44).

In another chapter, it is stated âMadigas eat meat. Brahmins eat ghee, produced from cowâs fat. What is the difference between Madigas eating meat and Brahmins eating fat?â (page 48). Another explanation on the same page says, âSeer Vasishta, the mentor of Sri Rama, is the son of a prostitute, Urvashi.... Vashishta made her his own wife... Brahmins are the progeny of this couple... Hence, Brahmins are Shudras.â

âSri Krishna is not light; he is darkness. One who is not light cannot be a god... If Sri Krishna is not eligible to hold Shamantakamani, how can he relieve you from sins? Himself being in darkness, how can you provide light?â the book asks (page 49, 50) analysing the incident of Shamantakamani from Vishnupurana.

Regard FMCS.org, I did read their history and background. And they are inspired by Christian faith. I wanted to know if they were doing anything explicitly against Hindu faith.

And I did not go looking for them, I just came to know about the organization.

First is to provoke the society with something and then show that they are victims of violence.
It is designed to create anger within their community which will mobilize their community with zeal.

The first provoking act is conveniently ignored and never discussed.

As someone commented in another discussion board, the xtian missionaries do 1% and claim 10% and here this org. is doing such a mammoth task. really a great and noble task for a noble cause.

Thomas Digal, 36, and Brahmanand Digal, 41, came there from Kandhamal's Dimiriguda village on Sept. 13 with a list of items Hindu extremists gave them to buy for a conversion ceremony set for two days later. The zealots told the Catholics to come prepared for the ritual or face death, along with a third option: move out of the area.

"What to do? What will we tell them?" asked an agitated Father Dushmanth Naik, who formerly served at their parish, as he spoke with UCA News. "We cannot provide them security. It is not easy to tell them to face death with families. We have no alternatives."

The village is among 12 mission stations under Pobingia parish. Kandhamal lies within the territory of Cuttack-Bhubaneswar archdiocese.

The current Pobingia parish priest, Father Prasanna Singh, told UCA News on Sept. 16 that he had "no idea" what happened to his people after the planned Hindu conversion ceremony. "I do not know. I have no information," he said.

He had said three days earlier that most of the 100 Catholic families in his parish had left the faith. "I have become a pastor without a flock, and they have become a flock without a pastor," the priest lamented.

The Hindu "conversion" campaign continues in all 14 Catholic parishes in Kandhamal where no Masses have been held since the violence started. Hindu militants have banned priests and other Church workers from these areas.

I was just wondering if you or anyone else might know approximately how many millions (or is it billions) of dollars is funneled into Bharat each year for subversive Xtian activities?

Officially it is $2billion a year
Unofficially it is $75 billion a year

The global evangelical budget is $200 billion a year per Arun Shourie
assume at least 25% is sent to India

The growth in the Indian economy will neutralise this to a large extent
and if the rupee rises wrt western currencies
