earlier news report said that RAW had concluded that the email was generated from a computer in pakistan.

Government sources said RAW experts have determined, using specialised analytical software, that the document was generated using a voice-recognition software which allowed dictated text to be typed in the Devnagari font.

Modelled on a series of English-language manifesto issued by the Indian Mujahideen after the terror group bombed New Delhi in September, the similarities in content and style between the two documents raised the possibility that their authors could be linked.

Ahmedabad: Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi had made no offer of any compensation when he called on the family of the slain Mumbai ATS chief, Hemant Karkare, on Friday, his widow Kavita Karkare told The Indian Express on Saturday. Karkareâs family sources said Modi had dropped in on his own, after the dead officerâs kin had thrice told his officials that they had no wish to meet anyone.

Karakreâs widow and relatives were speaking to this newspaper while Modi is courting a controversy over reports that Kavita Karkare had declined to accept any part of the Rs 1 crore samman raashi that he had offered to the kin of the 14 cops killed fighting terrorists in Mumbai.

A family source said, âThe state protocol officer called up first and we informed that we did not wish to meet anyone. Two more calls from Modiâs office followed and we responded the same way. Modi then came on his own and unannounced.â

Modiâs visit to the bereaved family has larger implications. After the Mumbai ATS, which Karkare headed, had claimed to have uncovered a full-fledged Hindu Terror network behind the Malegaon bomb blast and arrested Lt Colonel Purohit and Sadhvi Pragya linked to the saffron brigade, Modi had repeatedly accused it of bias and had even alleged that the Army officerâs arrest by the ATS amounted to demoralising the Army at the cost of national interest. He had also claimed that the arrests were politically motivated, at the behest of the Congress.

Kavita, however, said she wanted no controversy. âIt is part of our culture to be hospitable to visitors, and Modi is an elderly person. He came home, sat in the living room for a while and then told my son Akash, aap ko koi madad chahiye to bataiyega. At no point did he mention anything about any monetary support, at least not to me,â Kavita told The Indian Express.

An official attached to Modiâs office in Gandhinagar said the Chief Minister could not meet the widow of the Maharashtra ATS chief, as she was in an inner room of the house. âSo the CM garlanded Karkareâs photo kept in the room and came back. The CM announced Rs 1 crore as sammaan rashi in honour of all the 14 Maharashtra cops who laid down their lives. The money will be handed over to the Mahrashtra Government.â(Bad plan - Modi shouldn't give money to the christos ruling Maharasthra.)

Methinks christomedia is trying to set up Karkare as more of an anti-Hindu so they can make him a martyr for *their* purposes. They keep saying how he was one of the ATS that had 'found the Hindoos out' when all I've read of what he said is that he specifically contradicted the christomedia's lying saying he *didn't* in fact know anything of the sort and that the investigations were still looking into it.

"The primary target seems to have been to capture the Taj and Oberoi
hotels and take a bunch of hostages.

The events at VT, Leopold's, Metro etc were diversions to create panic
and ensure the police were spread thin and could not respond quickly
to calls from the 2 hotels.

If the motive was to inflict maximum damage, the terrorists seem to
have done very poorly with the resources they had in terms of time,
ammunition and equipment. They had more than 600 people locked in the
2 hotels for more than 10 hours before the NSG got there...An AK-47
can fire 600 rounds per minute.

From about 10:30 pm on 26th November to about 8 am on 27th November
there was a complete standoff at both the hotels. There were a few
guests who managed to get out at about 3 am from the Taj but there was
no full scale assault by the Indian forces till the NSG got there at 8 am.

What took place during that period of 10 hours is the key to
understanding the motive of the terrorists.

If the terrorists just wanted to kill everyone, they had ample
opportunity to do so. They were obviously holding out for some kind of
deal. Did the NSG spend those 10 hours negotiating a deal? Did they
even make contact? I find it hard to believe that the NSG stormed the
place and rescued almost every person taken hostage.

The other worrying thing is..what prevented the terrorists (or some of
them) from getting rid of their guns and just walking out of the
hotel, pretending to be one of the hotel guests? Hundreds of people
got out of the Taj at 3-4am. Were all of them questioned?

The presence of American intelligence officials at the Taj that night
adds another twist. There were also a group of EU officials present at
the Taj for an Indo-EU summit. The terrorists had also captured group
of Israelis at Nariman house. What happened to these groups? Who
exactly were they? Were they the targets?

The circumstances in which three top Mumbai policemen charged with
investigating the underworld were shot is puzzling as well. Only a
trained sharpshooter with inside information could have managed to do
this. The fact that the sniper then got away in the police van adds
further credence to the fact that he had help from the inside."

Karkare and three buddies died because of their own carelessness. They left CST after staying there for few mins, during that time camera was beaming on them. I was watching online TV channel from India, my reaction was these guys are drunk, playing with helmets, showing off flak, which look flimsy and flak was not even covering neck or upper chest. Zero professionalism, they were not serious. On top of that trios took same car and were ambushed inside car. So for shooter it was so easy to identify they are high valued asset and carrying hand gun which was now in their case.
I am not surprised. Shooters were better trained and focused. ATS guys were just playing dumb.

One can see that no matter how much time and lives are wasted, eventually Indians will overcome foreign assaults. But it takes everytime surprise attacks of Ghaznavis, Ghoris, Babars before history lessons are recognized as a deja vu, but has one learned something? There are more Khyber passes, now we even get the Khabar that is is via the sea, but has any security agency bothered to make it into a Kabaristan for infiltrators?

I find the sinister picture described by Sandhya ji more alarming than the lack of professionalism and holes in the security organs.

I figured out myself that this was a commando-type assault, that key collaborators escaped with the hotel guests, that something is fishy about shooters and torturers.

But, I didn't realize the implications. Sandhya ji is right that (at least) three units/groups of terrorists are involved and that ten terrorists are far too few to have caused this professional terror objective. The terrorists included: the commandos, the local helpers and the high profile agents who must have been the torturers.
The units of a total of ten were the gunmen, whose task was to create havoc and distract the attention from and win time for something else. They were helped by collaborators for the logistics and infrastructure. These were the minor terrorists.
That something else was done by the units of high profile (secret service) agents who were the torturers. These were the major terrorists. And did they erase all the traces leading towards them? (was the easy annihilation of the ATS top part of their white washing?) These major terrorists may have escaped amidst the turmoil.

It is beyond any doubt that the terrorists used secret service and (foreign) army tactics and trainings with sophisticated technology. The picture becomes darker if Indian secret service, police or politicians are involved. (did Lt. Col. Purohit discover such connections?) Even more sinister is the picture of secret services of some super powers being involved behind the scenes, in touch with ISI and bribed Indian secret service and politician collaborators.

One thing is sure, the assault has two levels of concern:
- the national security as a whole weakly organized, it is a failure.
- the terrorists exactly know the details of this, pointing to inside information. Do we only have bribed and non-bribed low level collaborators within India, or do we also have high profile collaborators or worse: foreign infiltrators?

India is in very dangerous hands since this Shurpanakha from Italanka has hypnotized the Rakshasas and her Bully monkeys surrounding and infiltrating Ram Rajya for her cause. Behind her are the demonic arms of secret services playing the Ravanahasta. Like Ravana himself, the modern Ravanas are well-versed in all kind of sciences and destructive weapons.
Everytime the loyal Jatayus will spot the directions, traces and sources and the giant Hanumans of the army will destroy these Rakshasas and their Ravanas.

NSA, the National Security Agency, has the technical means to retrieve all calls made from satellite and cell phones in the south Asia region.

Officials say one of the phones recovered was a Thuraya satellite phone.

"Once we have the number we will be able to know everyone who was called and where the calls were made from," one former intelligence office says.

Isolate terror, do not secularise it!

All this point to the Jihadi character of the terror. The Jewish religious head in Mumbai and the white foreigners staying in hotels as special targets of the terrorists who allowed Turkish Muslim inmates of Taj Hotel to escape because they were Muslims reinforced the view that the terrorists were part of the global Islamist terror network against non-Muslims (Kafirs).

Yet the Home Minister first and the Prime Minister later made statements on November 27, warning that the terrorists would pay for their crime, but, did not utter a word about who were the terrorists, and where they came from.

Then entered the Minister of State for Home Affairs Sri Prakash Jaiswal. He provided the comedy in an otherwise grim tragedy that Mumbai was experiencing for nearly 48 hours. He told the media on November 28, âterror could be a conspiracy hatched by right-wing Hindu partiesâ. Hindu parties â read the BJP? Yes. So Pakistan, or Lashkar-e- Toiba or Jaish-e-Mohammed or other Jihadi outfits are not the prime suspects! Following this line the Chinese Peopleâs Daily suspected Hindu terrorists as the culprits! But most secular media in India fortunately dismissed the junior ministerâs statement as just a juvenile prank. As his state minister was striving to make those who cry laugh, the Prime Minister stepped in to supplement his junior ministerâs efforts to humour the nation. On that very day, he invited the chief of the ISI â the main suspect in the terror on Mumbai â to come to Delhi.
(our readers will note that Jaiswal was the minister caught urinating on airport tarmac - yes, this is kind of ministers we have)


Why? To share info on the Mumbai terror with the main conspirator! Is it that the PM too was cracking a joke like his junior minister by inviting the ISI chief ? The ISI continues to be, as it always was since 1959 when it was born, hostile to India. On August 1, 2008, The New York Times reported, citing US officials, âAmerican intelligence agencies have concludedâ that Pakistanâs ISI had âhelped plan the deadly July 7 bombing of Indiaâs embassy in Kabulâ that left 58 dead and 141 wounded. As his junior minister spoke of Hindu terrorists as suspects, the Prime Minister invited the ISI chief, a well known jihadi who was involved in the jihad in the July Kabul attack to assist in investigating the Mumbai terror. That is, the Prime Minister was asking the main conspirator, ISI, to catch the other perpetrators â namely, the Jihadis whom it had trained to attack India! Normally such an act would be a subject of a cartoon.

Read together what Jaiswal said in Mumbai â namely, the terrorists were from Hindu political parties â on November 29 â and what Dr Singh did in Delhi on the same date â namely, invite the ISI chief to probe the Mumbai terror.

Did the Prime Minister take his minister of state for home so seriously that he wanted the Hindu angle to the Mumbai terror â some Advani or Modi involvement â to be jointly investigated by the IB in India and the ISI in Pakistan? Or did he expect the ISI to confess to its involvement? Or did he think that the ISI has suddenly shed its enmity and turned its admirer under its secular leaders Sonia Gandhi, a Christian, and himself, a Sikh? But fortunately for India, the Pakistan government refused to send the ISI chief to India. The world would have laughed at India if the ISI chief had come to India and declared to the media that the ISI would âco-operateâ with the IB to catch the culprits! What has done India into this mess? It is the Indian polityâs inability to say plainly that Islamic terror is a global phenomenon, and it is extending itself into India through global Islamic network.

Result, instead of isolating the terror, the national political discourse began secularising it. The seculars saw normal anti-terror laws as anti- Muslim laws by showing the number of detainees under the law which contained more Muslims. They refused to acknowledge that global Islamic jihad appeals only to Muslims and not to other communities. How then to maintain arithmetical parity between communities in the arrests under the anti-terror law? Once it is conceded that a terrorist has no religion, the person detained for acts of terror also has no religion.

How then could detainees under POTA be seen as Muslims and others? More, this secular formulation has facilitated the free entry of global jihad.

More, the national discourse, instead of protecting the local Muslims from global jihad, has not only exposed them to it, but also encouraged the process by integrating anti-terror laws within secular vs communal discourse. In the discourse anyone opposing strong antiterror laws became instantly secular, and any one supporting it instantly communal. Consequently, terror became secular, and anti-terror laws became un-secular. Thanks to this debasing secular debate, the UPA repealed the POTA as its first job. The result is for all to see. In the last four years and more, the terror attacks have accounted for more than 4,000 lives and in the last one year our terror toll had been more than that of â believe it â Iraq.

The next perversion followed the first.

The secular discourse instead of isolating the jihadi outfits like the Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) worked to make the unwary local Muslims identify with, own such outfits.

Take the example of the ban on SIMI. The BJP-led NDA had banned it in 2001 and the Congress had opposed it, saying that the ban had targeted the Muslims. This secular perverted discourse made the unwary Muslims own the SIMI about which most of them perhaps knew nothing except that the âanti-Muslimâ BJP had banned it and the secular parties â read pro-Muslim parties â had opposed it! The UPA first lifted the ban, but reimposed it but not before allowing the SIMI to grow into an Indian LeT. Why not ban the Vishwa Hindu Parishad, asked the Congress and the seculars, when SIMI was banned. But little did they realise that VHP can and should be banned if it indulged in terror, but not to justify the ban on SIMI. See what this secular perversion translates into. One, the state cannot act against the SIMI unless they find some Hindu outfit to act against.

Two, the state cannot detain or act against a terrorist unless it can find terrorists from all communities. QED: terror stands secularised, not isolated in secular discourse! How will India fight terror with this cerebral paralysis?
