Islamism - 5

[center]<b><span style='font-size:14pt;line-height:100%'>Extremism radicalising Muslims in Britain’</span></b> <!--emo&:flush--><img src='style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/Flush.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='Flush.gif' /><!--endemo-->[/center]

<b>LONDON, Nov 22 : The British government believes that more than the country’s foreign policy <span style='font-size:12pt;line-height:100%'>it is the extremist view of Islam which is causing radicalisation of the Muslim youth in Britain, say officials.</span>

<span style='font-size:12pt;line-height:100%'>“People should recognise that the problem is multi-faceted, and it is not limited to this country, and if people listened to what President Musharraf and President Karzai had both said, it is strongly in line with what the prime minister had said on many occasions,” said the prime minister’s official spokesman when asked if Premier Tony Blair agreed with Home Secretary John Reid that the British foreign policy was a factor in the radicalisation of the Muslim youth.</span>

The spokesman said the root causes went deeper than Britain’s foreign policy on Iraq and Afghanistan to <span style='font-size:12pt;line-height:100%'>the kind of extremist view of Islam which was causing problems not just in Britain or the rest of Europe but also in Pakistan, Afghanistan and Indonesia.</span></b>

However, despite such spins on Britain’s Iraq policy and its impact on the British Muslim youth, the government here seems to be under continued pressure to withdraw as soon as possible from Basra where it has stationed 7,200 troops.

So, on Wednesday it was Foreign Secretary Margaret Becket reassuring MPs that London would be able to “achieve transition … at some point next spring.”

Chancellor Gordon Brown while visiting Iraq last week had given a deadline of a couple of months. In October, the prime minister had said that troop withdrawal could start in 12 months time.

The foreign office referring to the foreign secretary’s statement said this did not mean all UK troops would be leaving Basra.

Mrs Beckett said: "The process of transferring security responsibilities to Iraqi security forces is well under way.

"(Iraqi) Prime Minister Maliki is determined to press ahead with that and we are equally determined to help him do so successfully,” she added.

Islamicisation (conversion and subsequent radicalisation/terrorism) appears to have similar patterns globally. Concerning Europe, Britain and France have been covered a lot by others in this thread.
This and the next posts are about Holland. The second post is more related to islamoterrorism and therefore more interesting, but this first one shows a similar trend to that of islamic converts being made today in Tamil Nadu.

According to the dictionary, 'hervormd' is Reformed (protestant), and 'gereformeerd' is calvinist. But the mention of 'bible studies' in the complete article, the image showing a typical born-again fundoo and the comments that Elsevier's readers made on the following article all seems to be indicating born-again Christians (evangelicals) - itself imported from the States in recent times. That's why I've put Calvinist in quotes below.

http://www.elsevier.nl/nieuws/nederland/ar...n/ja/index.html - interesting extracts only
<!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin--><b>Islam is advancing among 'calvinist' youngsters</b>
Fri 8 Sep 2006
The number of 'calvinist' youngsters that leave the christian faith and are converting to islam is rising rapidly. That is what the institute Evangelium & Muslims is signalizing. Preacher Cees Rentier of the institute is of the opinion that they especially feel attracted to the 'simplicity of the islamic faith'.
[Personal comment: Directives to j-had are indeed less complicated than the disputed means to obtain christian salvation that the various christian denominations can't agree upon]
In the Nederlands Dagblad (? newspaper) Rentier states besides that the converted youngsters becomes more pious and more fanatic than their Turkish and Maroccan co-religionists (read also 'Increasingly more converted muslims are radicalising').<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd--><!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin-->According to Rentier, it still only concerns 'in any case several tens' of youths each year, but the number of islamic converts amongst 'calvininsts' shall increase in the coming years if no measures are taken.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd--><!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin-->The power of attraction of islam lies, according to Rentier, mostly in 'the simplicity and surveyability'. Youngsters 'feel the appeal from the fact that one can *do* something in islam to be a good faithful. ...'<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->Catholic -> easily converted to Protestant -> easily converted into American brands (born-again evanglical kind) -> easily converted into islam and corresponding terrorism. I've witnessed the first 3, but only ever read about the 4th.

Things get more interesting, following on from the above article:

<!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin--><b>Increasingly more converted muslims are radicalising</b>
Fri 2 Dec 2005

Increasingly more Dutch people who have converted to islam are radicalising, so it turns out from the 3rd progress report about the fight against terrorism that was sent to the House of Representatives on Friday.

The police receives increasingly more reports of Dutch people who, having converted to islam, are radicalising in high speed. In addition, in radical muslim circles 'noticeably many' islamic marriages are being contracted. In this way, increasingly more young women are also coming into contact with islamic extremism.

At islamic weddings, it often concerns a sort of 'living room weddings', just like those contracted in the Hofstadgroep (see next article below; name of a terrorist cell, literally meaning Court City Group). In most cases, family members are not informed of such agreements (read 'Bouyeri not present at start of Hofstad process').

<b>Loverboys</b>
Mostly, these weddings are over quickly and it appears to mainly have been about recruiting new radical co-religionists. Ministers Piet Hein Donner (CDA) of Justice and Johan Remkes (VVD) of Internal Affairs compare them with the loverboy-like situations, where young men establish relationships with young girls and women so as to thereafter force them into prostitution.

Among the newly enlisted extremists are increasingly more frequently to be found higher educated people, a trend that is also visible in foreign lands. According to Donner and Remkes there are no indications that in higher (tertiary?) education there is talk of radicalisation processes.

After the weekly cabinet council, Prime minister Jan Peter Balkenende called for an alertness concerning radicalisation, both in education as well as around informal weddings (also read 'Dutch Muslimah Martine van den O. released').<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->Original articles are at urls given, for those wanting to confirm accuracy of these confusing translations.

<!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin--><b>Dutch Muslimah Martine van den O. released</b>
Wed 3 Aug 2005

The Dutch Muslimah Martine van den O., who would have had contacts with the terror-network the Hofstadgroep, has been released. The court has too little evidence to retain her longer. The 26 year old woman was caught in June together with the terror suspect Nouredine el F. and his wife Soumaya S.

According to the Public Ministry, Van den O. was released for 'personal reasons'. She does still remain a suspect.

A few weeks ago, justice (the courts) found a farewell letter of Van den O., wherein she announced an important event (read 'Justice finds farewell letter of terror suspect).

<b>Hitlist</b>
The former police officer Van den O. was arrested on 22 June at station Lelylaan in Amsterdam on suspicion of involvement with the terror organisation the Hofstadgroep. She was in a car with 22 year old Nouredine el F., who is considered one of the heads of the Hofstadgroup. At his arrest, El F. had with him, among other things, a gun. According to writer Leon de Winter, El F. also had a hitlist in his possession (read "Lean de winter:  'Nouredine had dodenlijst'").

Both El F. and his 21 year old wife Soumaya S. are still in jail (read also 'Hofstadgroup woman sought addresses of politicians).

<b>Big role</b>
According to justice officer Koos Plooy, Van den O. and S. could play a big role in the [judicial] case against the Hofstadgroup. He says that both women have given statements [in court] about meetings at suspects' places back in The Hague. These meetings would have taken place on October 2004.

The 26 year old Van den O. is originally from Naaldwiik and was raised christian. During secondary school she came in contact with islam through Maroccan classmates. She converted and radicalised quickly thereafter.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->

<!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin--><b>Hofstadgroep sought politicians' addresses</b>
Tue 19 Jul 2005

One of the women of the Hofstadgroep has tried to obtain the addresses of several well-known politicians. That turned out to be the case from a telephone conversation that the AIVD had tapped, and which came into the hands of KRO's tv-programme Reporter.

The 22 year old woman, Soumaya S., who was arrested together with head-suspect Nouredine el F. end June at station Lelylaan, tried to uncover the addresses of, amongst others, VVD-minister of Internal Affairs Johan Remkes, VVD-party chairman Jozias van Aartsen and LPF-parliament member Joost Eerdmans.

For this purpose, the woman called up on 20 June - two days before her arrest - her sister who works at a pharmacy in The Hague, and asked, among other thing, whether people came there who 'worked with that black [person]', with which she was referring to VVD-member of parliament Ayaan Hirsi Ali.
[Personal comment: Ayaan Hirsi Ali is the Somali-born Dutch member of Parliament, an ex-muslim woman who is fighting islamicisation of the Netherlands, Europe and the world. Her friend Theo Van Gogh who was trying to make a film about the matter at her request, was murdered by the usual fascists of islam.]

<b>Information</b>
When Soumaya's sister Hanan S. confirmed that, Soumaya asked for information about those politicians, but Hanan refused to give those over the phone. According to the report of AIVD, Hanan suggested that Soumaya just ought to drop by once.

According to the AIVD-documentation which Reporter has managed to obtain, the intelligence services decided to intervene at that moment. During this time it become known to the intelligence services that Soumaya S. and Hofstad-suspect Nouredine el F., who had both entered into an islamic marriage a few months prior,  were hiding away at the place of the Dutch convert muslimah Martine O. in The Hague.

On 22 June Soumaya S., Nouredine el F. and Martine van den O. were riding in a car from The Hague to Amsterdam, whereby they were followed by the police. They are certain that they are being followed and try to shake of the police on several occassions. At Lelylaan station in Amsterdam, the three terror suspects are finally apprehended.

<b>Armed</b>
At the moment of his arrest, the 22 year old Nouredine el F. had with him a loaded tommy-gun and extra cartridges, and according to the report of the chase, El F. tried to reach for his weapon at his arrest (read: 'Justice arrests head Hofstadgroup').

Author Leon de Winter writes in his weblog at this site that Nouredine el F. possessed a hitlist.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->Same thing: originals at urls.

<b>EDIT:</b> above, 'machine-pistool' is not a machine-gun as I had written, but a 'tommy-gun' (whatever that is) according to the dictionary. Now corrected.
Like that muslim leader from TSP (of post 260), it seems more and more terrorists keep finding their way into these countries now as well.
Nevertheless, only a very few people still are noticing that the j-had is on. At present only one side realises that the global j-had has started and the other side is in denial. That means a headstart for the islamoterror. (In India, we've been in denial for centuries and now that the signs are there for even the blind to see, the p-secs would still like us to remain ignorant. But it ain't just our 'communalist fears', now, is it, when the whole world is starting to partake of the j-hadi goodness?)

<!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin--><b>Eindhoven's imam definitely to leave the country</b>
Thu 1 Dec 2005

An imam of the Al Fourkaan-mosque in Eindhoven who was declared an illegal (presence) earlier this year, has to definitely leave the country. The immigration service IND has denied his objections to the expulsion. The man, a Sudanese from Bosnia, was stopped on Wednesday and brought over to the foreigner-safehouse [hard to translate]. There he awaits his expulsion.

This is what the spokesperson for the ministry of Justice has said. According to the service, the man is a radical and he represents a danger to national security.

<b>Inflammatory sermons</b>
The Sudanese is one of the three imams of Einhoven's Al-Fourqaan mosque who became the talk [in the sense of 'becoming the talk of the town'] because of his inflammatory sermons. VVD-minister Rita Verdonk (Foreign Affairs) withdrew the staying-permits of two of them at the end of Februari. The request for extension of a permit of the third man was denied (read 'Verdonk expels three radical imams').

The second imam, a Kenyan, still waits for a definite decision in his case. The third imam had already retracted his written objection to the withdrawal of his staying permit at the end of June, because he had already left our country and had made known that he did not want to return anymore (read 'Eindhoven's imam stops resistance to expulsion').

According to intelligence services AIVD, the three formed a danger to national security. According to the AIVD, they have also allowed that within their mosque, faithful were recruited for the <span style='color:red'>j-had, the armed fight against unbelievers/infidels. The three imams and the mosque-goers have always dismissed all accusations.</span>

<!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin--><b>'Turkish imams may not enter The Netherlands'</b>
Mon 24 Jul 2006

Eighteen Turkish imams who want to start working in Dutch mosques are not allowed to enter the country. The Immigration and Naturalisation Service (IND) wants that the 18, like all other newcomers, first take a naturalising-training course at the Dutch embassy in Turkey.

According to Algemene Dagblad (? newspaper) 18 mosques in The Netherlands are without religious leader. 'If necessary we will take judicial measures,' says Yusuf Kalkan, chairman of the Dutch muslim-union Diyanet and at the Turkish embassy in The Hague in charge of religious affairs.

[Image caption:] 18 mosques would be without imam

<b>(Training) course</b>
The imams have followed a naturalising-course in Rotterdam, and they would know more about The Netherlands than is necessary. But the IND points the imams to the rules: everyone who wants to come to The Netherlands, must take an exam at the Dutch embassy in his or her land of origin.
That kan happen within a few days but according to the newspaper, the imams, official Turkish civil servants, are refusing to take the test (read also: 'Now for sale: naturalising lesson-package').

Foreign imams are an important political topic. What kind of role do they plan in the naturalising process? The House of Representatives has thought about a ban on imams from foreign lands, but the cabinet decided that imams who want to come to The Netherlands from September onwards need to take an extra hard/weighty naturalising test (read also: imams get weightier/harder naturalising test).

<b>We learn with great regret and grief of the tragic death of 20th century's greatest authority on Reality about Islam, Dr. Anwar Shaikh, who later converted to Hinduism and took the name Aniruddha Gyan Shikha in in Wales, Great Britain on November 25, 2006. </b>

He will be mourned by millions who read his books and articles over several decades. Those privileged to know him personally or through his writings admired him for his originality and courage of conviction.

His death has taken away an intellectual giant from our midst. He stood for an era, for a century. His greatest achievement was to DEMOLISH Islam with the sword of logic and reason. He exposed it as the cult of brutal conquerors and the destroyer of civilisations.

Anwar Shaikh, was a great and effective critic of islam. His books have influenced several intellectuals, journalists and political leaders in understanding the real nature of Islam and Islamic mindset

There are 57 OIC member-states, and of the 57 Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Morocco, Bahrain, Qatar and Brunei are hereditary monarchies (as oppressive as can be). Pakistan, Iran, Syria, Sudan, Libya, Algeria, Uzbekistan, Uganda, Kazakhstan, Burkina Faso, Tunisia, Somalia, Azerbaijan, Guinea, Turkmenistan, Gambia, Gabon, Mauritius and Maldives are classified as 'authoritarian regimes'. Malaysia, Yemen, Cameroon, Senegal, Chad, Tajikistan, Jordan and Comoros are considered 'restricted democratic practices' (Source: Freedom House; www.freedomhosue.com).

Last year, a report titled The worst of the worst : The world's most repressive societies 2005 was submitted to the UN Commission on Human Rights. Among the world's most repressive societies were Saudi Arabia, Libya, Syria, Somalia, Sudan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan -- all OIC member states. Question: Outside of Iraq and Afghanistan, who is repressing Muslims of the world? Answer: It's Muslims repressing Muslims.

<b>Of the 57 OIC member-states, 25 per cent of the population lives in Pakistan and Bangladesh. <span style='font-size:14pt;line-height:100%'>Pakistan and Bangladesh put together have more than 200 million illiterate Muslim men and women. The female illiteracy rate in Bangladesh and Pakistan is 68 per cent and 65 per cent, respectively. So, who is keeping 200 million Muslims illiterate? Is it Mossad?</span>

For the record, one million Muslims were killed by other Muslims in the longest conventional war of the 20th century. The war began when Al Jumhuriyah al Iraqiyah invaded Jomhuri-ye Eslami-ye Iran (the Iran-Iraq war lasted for eight years and costed the two OIC member states a colossal $1.2 trillion). In the Indonesian Civil War (1965-66), 800,000 Muslims were killed by other Muslims. In the Nigerian Civil War (1967-1970), an estimated 500,000 Muslims were killed by other Muslims. In the Algerian Civil War (1991-2002), some 200,000 Muslims were killed by Muslims. In the ongoing conflict in Darfur, Muslim Arabs fighting non-Arab Muslims have already slaughtered 400,000 Muslims (Source: Coalition for International Justice; http://www.cij.org/). In Afghanistan's 20-year civil strife, Muslims have killed 500,000 fellow Muslims. In the al-Anfal Campaign (1986-1989), Saddam Hussein massacred 100,000 Kurd Sunni Muslims of Shafite rite and other Muslims belonging to Bektashi order, Naqsbandi order and Qadiri order. An additional 50,000 Marsh Arabs and 50,000 southern Shiites were slaughtered.

In the so-called Bangladesh Liberation War (1971), estimates of Muslim civilians killed by Muslims range from 307,013 to 3,000,000. According to D. Smith 500,000; Hartman 1,000,000; 1984 World Almanac "up to 1,000,000 civilians were killed"; Rummel 1,500,000; Compton's Encyclopaedia 3,000,000 and Encyclopaedia Americana 3,000,000. Intriguingly, more policemen have died on the streets of Karachi than our soldiers killed in our wars with India.

Question : Who has killed more Muslims than RAW, CIA, MI6 and Mossad put together? <span style='font-size:21pt;line-height:100%'>Answer : Muslims.

The OIC lords over 800 million illiterate Muslim men and women. These illiterate Muslim men and women are lorded over by an assortment of Muslim monarchs and authoritarian dictators. It's the Muslims who are doing all this to Muslims.</span></b>

<b>Top Muslim cleric denounces `triple talaq`</b> <!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin-->New Delhi, Nov 30: A top Muslim cleric today opposed the practice of "triple talaq", saying it was against the teachings of Islam, and welcomed the model 'nikahnama' drawn up by Shia leaders to give women of the community the right to initiate divorce.

<b>"Pronouncing talaq is considered a heinous act in Islam," Maulana Abdul Haq</b>, a Sunni leader who is president of the Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, said as he announced the launch of a nationwide awareness campaign about the Islamic family system from tomorrow.

"The Shia nikahnama is a welcome step. The move reasserts the rights given by Islam to women," he told a press conference here.

"Uttering triple talaq at one go is against the teachings of Islam and efforts will be made to create awareness among Muslims on this," Haq said, adding the issue of divorce would be a focus area of the 10-day campaign
............
"Onslaught of Western cultural values compounded with ignorance and illiteracy have led to the erosion of moral values. As a result, incidents of talaq, female foeticide, suicide and neglect of old people is rising in Muslim society," Haq said.

Muslims will be urged not to indulge in practices such as gay marriages, lesbianism, live-in relationships, adultery and fornication, he said. This would help protect the community from diseases like HIV/AIDS.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->

<b>Dos and don'ts for Pak tribal women </b>
<b>Islamabad: Pamphlets warning of strict action if people sent their daughters to school or dressed them in trousers and banning the entry of NGOs working for women as well as women health workers and teachers have been distributed in Pakistan's Bajaur agency.</b>

The pamphlets put up in the tribal area in Pakistan's northwest, which has been in tumult after an air strike on an Islamic seminary killed 82 people on October 30, contained announcements by an Islamic group named Jabh Khalid bin Walid.

<b>They warned NGOs working for women against entering the area. "It asked the people to avoid them otherwise they will have to face serious consequences," The News said.</b>

The leaflets, made available to the press here by officials of the interior ministry, also asked women teachers to avoid entering Bajaur agency and directed women health workers to leave the area at once. People were further asked to avoid dressing their children in trousers in schools.

A pamphlet, written to girl students of the Government High School at Pusht, said they would be exploded with remote bombs if they learnt English.

Yet another said the Maliks, tribal elders, should taking money from the Pakistan government.

There is a raging dispute about the bombing on the madrassa. While political parties have said those killed were students, some under 10, the government maintains they were militants receiving armed training.

Tribal areas of Pakistan's northwest, hosting Taliban from neighbouring Afghanistan and nurturing their own, have long been opposed to Western influences. Much of their campaign is targeted at women and children, those who listen to music and watch films and foreign and local NGOs. <!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->
