Admins,

I'm noticing spammers are opening spam threads. Would it be possible to restrict
membership requiring Admin approval for membership before posting first time.
This way you can avoid spam.

shyam, we have switched back to admin approval for new registrations.

Auto-approval is attracting too much spammers.

Is there any possible way the sh1t-Mahal can be removed from the banner of india-forum's front page and be replaced with maybe a Hindu temple?

<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->Second that. Although the Taj Mahal was built by Hindu hands (had read they got their hands chopped off so they could not make another like it) and obviously designed by Hindus.

Can this beauty be photoshopped into its position instead (found it here):

<!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin-->The Jaswant Thada at Jodhpur was erected by Rana Jaswant Singh in memory of the victories the Rajputs secured against the Muslims during the 17th century. The Jaswant Thada rivals the Taj Mahal in its pristine beauty and is a poetry in Marble.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->
It doesn't merely 'rival' the Taj Mahal. IMO, it is more beautiful.

To admin,

I am not able to log on to india-forum anymore. I had logged in on this computer a while ago and the cookies are still active, so it keeps me logged in. But whenever I try to go to the login page, I get the message wrong password. I tried the password reset option and I am yet to get the response.

Should I re-register. Pls let me know. Thanks

Dear Friends

I have been a regular visitor of this forum for almost a month now. Unfortunately, I was unsuccessful in completing the registration and had to register for 6 times! Believe me, this is no exaggeration. I tried sending E-mails to all the addresses found on this site but all came back as undeliverable!! Many of you may be wondering why I kept on registering after many unsuccesful attempts, there is only reason- I fell in love with the forum. I was looking at the forum members' list and there are many fake registration attempts. But , please make sure that while rejecting all those fake ones, genuine ones are not caught up in it. Though none of you know me, I am quite familiar with most people in this forum by now <!--emo&Big Grin--><img src='style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo--> .
The knowledge of some of the members in this forum about Indian Culture is just amazing. It would be great if we can have an introduction section or a welcome section in the forum where new members can get to know others(I am not sure whether you already have such a section and it is invisible to me <!--emo&Sad--><img src='style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /><!--endemo--> )

And finally, I was wondering what happened to some of the members in some threads who are shown as 'unregistered' , who have great knowledge about Sanskrit and literature. Did they change their login ids <!--emo&Rolleyes--><img src='style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='rolleyes.gif' /><!--endemo--> ? I wanted to clarify many doubts I had by contacting them <!--emo&Sad--><img src='style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /><!--endemo--> .

Moderators- please feel free to move this topic to trash once its purpose is served.

Welcome to forum.

Last year we had database problem , some id on old post comes as 'unregistered'.

Memebers are still in this forum with same old id.

That is good to know Mudy Ji. Please also do something about the registration issue. I had told my friend to register as well. Also, note that the Email id mentioned on the site(the one which says ‘please contact us if you have not received a reply ......') is not working . Now you can move this topic to the trash. Thanks.

Registering here is a big problem. Its almost impossible to get in without knowing a member here who can notify the admin, who will in turn activate your membership. That's how mine was activated. Hope owner fixes this problem.

Everyday more than 200 people tries to become members, majority of (99.99%) them tries to share porn or medicine or other stuff. We only authroize right name with right email address.
e.g. I have to reject this today and other 100 like this id - <b>Allah103boxer</b>
