"There are several major publishing groups in India , the
most prominent among them being the Times of India Group,

the Indian Express Group, the Hindustan Times Group, The
Hindu group, the Anandabazar Patrika Group, the Eenadu
Group, the Malayalam Manorama Group, the Mathrubhumi group,
the Sahara group, the Bhaskar group, and the Dainik Jagran

group.
Let us see the ownership of different media agencies.

NDTV: A very popular TV news media is
funded by Gospels of
Charity in Spain Supports Communism. Recently it has
developed a soft corner towards Pakistan because Pakistan
President has allowed only this channel to be aired in
Pakistan . Indian CEO Prannoy Roy is co-brother of Prakash

Karat, General Secretary of the Communist party of India
.
His wife and Brinda Karat are sisters.

India Today which used to be the only national weekly which
supported BJP is now bought by NDTV!! Since then the tone

has changed drastically and turned into Hindu bashing.

CNN-IBN: This is 100 percent funded by Southern Baptist
Church with its branches in all over the world with HQ in
US. The Church annually allocates $800 million for promotion

of its channel. Its Indian head is Rajdeep Sardesai and his
wife Sagarika Ghosh.

Times group list:
Times Of India,
Mid-Day, Nav-Bharth Times, Stardust,
Femina, Vijay Times, Vijaya Karnataka, Times now (24- hour
news channel) and many more...
Times Group is owned by Bennet & Coleman. 'World
Christian Council¢ does 80 percent of the Funding, and an

Englishman and an Italian equally share balance 20
percent.
The Italian Robertio Mindo is a close relative of Sonia
Gandhi.

Star TV: It is run by an Australian, who is supported by
St. Peters Pontifical Church Melbourne.

Hindustan Times: Owned by Birla Group, but hands have
changed since Shobana Bhartiya took over. Presently it is
working in Collaboration with Times Group.

The Hindu: English daily, started over 125 years has been

recently taken over by Joshua Society, Berne , Switzerland .
N. Ram's wife is a Swiss national.

Indian Express: Divided into two
groups. The Indian Express
and new Indian Express (southern edition) ACTS Christian
Ministries have major stake in the Indian Express and latter
is still with the Indian counterpart.

Eeenadu: Still to date controlled by an Indian named Ramoji

Rao.
Ramoji Rao is
connected with film industry and owns a huge
studio in Andhra Pradesh.

Andhra Jyothi: The Muslim party of Hyderabad known as MIM
along with a Congress Minister has purchased this Telugu

daily very recently.

The Statesman: It is controlled by Communist Party of
India.

Kairali TV: It is controlled by Communist party of India
(Marxist)

Mathrubhoomi: Leaders of Muslim League and Communist

leaders have major investment.

Asian Age and Deccan Chronicle: Is owned by a Saudi Arabian
Company with its chief Editor M.J.
Akbar.

Gujarat riots which took place in 2002 where
Hindus were burnt alive,

Rajdeep Sardesai and Bharkha Dutt working for NDTV at that
time got around 5 Million Dollars from Saudi Arabia to cover

only Muslim victims, which they did very faithfully.
Not a
single Hindu family was interviewed
or shown on TV whose near and dear ones had been burnt
alive, it is reported.

Tarun Tejpal of < <http://tehelka. com/>Tehelka.com

regularly gets blank cheques from Arab countries to target
BJP and Hindus only, it is said.

The ownership explains the control of media in India by
foreigners. The result is obvious.
PONDER OVER THIS. NOW YOU KNOW WHY EVERY ONE IS AGAINST

To add to acharya's post above (a lot of which was in India Tribune if anyone was looking for it), here's Ishwar Sharan on the christo-owned and islamicly edited media "Deccan Chronicle":

http://hamsa.org/coelho.htm
<!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin-->Like its sister publication the Asian Age, the Deccan Chronicle is a <b>Christian-oriented masala newspaper <i>edited</i> by the militant secularists M.J. Akbar, Naazreen Bhura, and Seema Mustafa.</b> They do not tolerate dissent or opinions critical of themselves or their contributors. Their newspapers are a business to make money, not a forum for debate. Facts and figures are extraneous irritants to be ignored, except where the facts and figures can be employed in Hindu-bashing exercises.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->And the page also contains:
<!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin--><b>The Deccan Chronicle is a popular anti-Brahmin2 <i>Catholic</i> newspaper</b> and the newest proponent of the St. Thomas fable as Indian history (following The Hindu and The New Indian Express). It hides its pro-St. Thomas agenda behind a correspondent's byline and the provocative statement of the Santhome Cathedral parish priest: "The existence of the Santhome Church is a proof by itself that Christianity in India is more than 2000 years old" (DC, Chennai, 8 April 2007). For sucking up to the Catholic clergy, the Deccan Chronicle is the leader among Indian newspapers. <b>Its editors, M.J. Akbar and Naazreen Bhura, both self-righteous secularists of the Nehruvian school, assiduously follow the Christian practice of treating Christian legend as history and Hindu history as mythology (or put another way, treating Christian superstition as tradition and Hindu tradition as superstition).</b><!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->

<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->Is India Today non psecular?

I think Deccan Herald is Hindu. But you'll need to confirm that with others here.

NewsTodayNet

And apparently the channel Eenadu too:

The source is http://intellibriefs.blogspot.com/ going by what I've written down here
<!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin--><b>Why EENADU & ETV is under siege in AP ?</b>
IntelliBriefs has been watching Eenadu and ETV rather closely for past few months , we wonder how most of Indian intellectuals have missed to recognise the true intent of frontal assault on this group . <b>Our sources in Andhra Pradesh say the attack "has been sponsored by Christian groups ". It is patently obvious for many that this group is an 'identified Hindu' media group and thrived under Telugu Desam rule ,became a household name in Andhra Pradesh. </b>

Both Eenadu and ETV project Tirumala Lord Venkateswara and Hindu Puranas in a very positive light with mega budget serials. Eenadu actively, regularly exposes misdeeds of Hindu Endowments Department involving the congress goons. Brahmotsavams of Tirumala, Pushkarams, Dussera, Deepavali, Sankranthi etc., get very prominent coverage in the front pages. So also every day Hindu events and culture are given huge prominence. They are also vocal critics of the Gandhi family and Congress throughout their existence - Eenadu since 1974 and ETV since 90's. Reliable source say "this, obviously, is not at all to the liking of the church in AP, Sonia & co." , pointing finger at Congress effort to scuttle anything that is anti-congress and anti-communism , "this is a congress-Communist joint-venture to attack hindu icons and institutions" .

<b>Shocking dimension has emerged in India </b>

Also almost all mainstream TV channels show programmes that ridicule, mistify, vilify or challenge Hindu way of life and it's religious icons. This being so, one solitary Newsgroup carrying Hindu way of life in such big profile is not to be tolerated, what with 'power' in both centre and the state. Eenadu Chairman's son, Mr.Suman takes very keen interest in promoting bhakthi cassettes and videos selling them in big numbers , "just like Gulshan Kumar of TIPS who was murdered by sullas", said a radical hindu group leader . <b>"When government is busy demolishing and diverting Mandir monies in a big way, will xians allow one Hindu media baron to get away ..... no way., hence YSR & co is in full battle cry on Mr.Ramoji Rao's media and financial empire." said a source . They couldn't browbeat him, hence the demolition of Margadarsi Finance, Ramoji Film City, Margadarsi Chits using GOs, RBI pressure and physical attacks on the Eenadu organs. A hindu leader said "I feel we shouldn't be mute to this day light carnage of Hinduism's biggest supporting Media Group by the church."</b>

In his assessment on the EENADU issue , reknowned scholar Dr.N.S.Rajaram projected a wider geopolitical dimension to the issue . He told IntelliBriefs this morning from Bangalore that <b>"all this is part of a concerted attack on Hindu interests and institutions, organized by Christian groups and supported by the Congress."</b> Recollecting his past alerts issued to the Indian intelligentia and patriotic groups he slammed Sonia and her coterie " People, including those who should know better, ridiculed me when I said a couple of years ago that the Church with its peculiar historical sense see Sonia Gandhi in the same light as Constantine, who by his hospitality to early Christianity to take over the Roman Empire."

He even cited historical similarities "to those who know history, the present conflict has an early similarity to the 4th century. Christians were less than 4 percent in the Roman Empire, by they managed to seize control."<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->

<!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin-->And as I thought of the whys of 26/11, I couldn’t help but put the blame on our government’s virtual anti-Hindu sentiments, for all practical purposes not just today, but over years and years. Of course, I had been feeling this especially during the last fortnight and almost everyday, as I saw newspaper after newspaper devote endless newsprint to “Hindu terrorists” and “Hindu bombs”. In my entire life, I don’t remember reading even once any media house in India calling anyone a “Muslim terrorist” or any bomb a “Muslim bomb”; and rightly so... But the true or false revelation (of course, I believe that whether Hindu or Muslim, the guilty should be brought to law) of one rare exception of finding a Hindu behind an act of terrorism gave our entire ruling political class the freedom to instantly coin a new word called the Hindu bomb to malign Hinduism (and, but obviously, the BJP too with the elections round the corner). Well, it’s very easy to do so in India. That’s because Hindus are the people who, despite being the majority in Hindustan, are the people who can be abused in India and gotten away with. Because Hindus, in reality, aren’t terrorists or bomb makers and are supposed to be tolerant, patient and – dare I repeat what Gandhi said – even cowards! So Hindus can be abused in this country by every scheming political class wanting to garner the Muslim vote bank during elections. It’s not just that they can be tortured brutally (even women) by investigating agencies, but the fact is that for Hindu arrests, there aren’t even any human rights groups jumping in and creating farcical noises.

But that’s not all. Assisting the political class mostly willingly (and, at rare times, due to no alternative choice) in this conspiracy is almost the entire Indian media and its lot of fake and mostly half-educated journalist fraternity. Pampering Muslims blindly – even terrorists caught red handed – or their extremism all the time gives most media houses and journalists an illusion of large hearted (farcical) secularism. Some media houses have made it their business to support Muslim terrorists et al because then, there are crappy human rights groups around the world who fund them and praise them and give them awards by organising pseudo-intellectual seminars and gatherings. Of course, for those media houses that refuse to tow the government’s line of press release campaigns, the government would put tens of income tax, foreign exchange management, MRTP cases, etc., against them, so that to save their backsides, they start falling in line.

And pampering and useless tolerance of the wrongs of any community, when it comes to the nation’s security, is what is the sure recipe of 26/11s and the reason behind India’s fate today. This is exactly what doesn’t let governments in India take rightful actions. Because their fear all the time is that if a Muslim bomber is hanged, a Muslim terrorist is interrogated, a Muslim-majority locality is searched, either they will lose their vote banks or – according to their illiterate definitions of secularism – not remain ultra secular. And that is the difference between the USA and India. The Americans know how to differentiate facts from pseudo intellectualism. They have nothing against the Muslim world as such – nor have we ever had or should have – but they have decided not to tolerate Al Qaeda type of extremism. And once decided, they have the courage to go all out behind destroying the very roots of such organizations. And that’s the difference between a strong nation and a weak spineless nation full of opportunist politicians. A strong nation takes the right decisions and goes all out to implement it. A weak spineless nation just says ‘we will take strong action’, then does nothing; and given the first opportunity, creates new farcical terms like “Hindu bombs” through slavish media houses, in order to show how ‘secular’ their outlook is and to create a false air of alarm that even Hindus are creating similar terrorism... How utterly shameful!

<!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin--><b>Navy chief upset with electronic media</b>

Sandeep Dikshit
<b>
Mumbai coverage reminded him of ‘famous’ Kargil War shot</b>

NEW DELHI: The Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Sureesh Mehta, has expressed anger at the electronic media’s coverage of the Mumbai terror attacks.

Addressing a press conference on the eve of Navy Day, he also pulled up the media for casting aspersions on the Navy’s sinking of a pirate vessel in the Gulf of Aden by “going all the way to the house of the vessel’s Thai owner” to interview him.

<b>“All for brownie points”</b>
The competition among news channels to score brownie points reminded him of the “famous shot” during the Kargil War that led to the destruction of an ultra-powerful artillery gun of the Army. Three soldiers died and the Colonel, who yielded to a woman reporter’s entreaty to fire the gun for the camera’s benefit was dismissed from service.

Senior government officials have been chafing at the “intrusive coverage” by the electronic media.

<b>Admiral Mehta said he was disturbed by the “extra heavy reporting” on the attacks. “When operations are taking place, you are reporting that two commandos are going inside. They [terrorists] were in live contact with their masters, who were telling them what the channels were reporting. I think it requires a certain amount of restraint in ongoing operations.</b> Do you really have to give minute-by-minute coverage? Media is an enabling instrument. Today it is a disenabling instrument.”
(Oh come on now. Does anyone really think christomedia was all innocent and didn't know what it was doing when it reported live on every moment of the army's on-site operations? Christomedia did it on purpose. Foreign money speaks. And also, christoterrorism breeds loyalty only to jeebus and to other cannibal sheep - be they either in Vatican or US or UK or wherever.)

<b>On the media’s coverage of the INS Tabar’s anti-piracy operations off the Gulf of Aden when the warship intercepted and sank a pirated Thai trawler, the Navy chief said he was disappointed. For the media, more “eye catching” was the owner’s claim that was unquestionably accepted.</b>
(Christomedia always takes pride in anti-Indian acts - it's what they get paid for. Treason is a christian trait. Just as it was in ancient Rome.)

“The Thai vessel was a pirated trawler. The ship was operating there for a long time. The ship was doing what it should not be doing. You went to his house to interview him. <b>Those reports are now floating worldwide.</b> The media should have asked what the trawler was transporting between Yemen and Oman for such a long time. What cargo was it carrying? If it was low on fuel, how come the fireball was so bright? It was because of all the ammunition that was lying on the ship. There is nothing wrong your Navy has done,” asserted Admiral Mehta.
(Christomedia is a lying media. Myth of "Jhabua nuns raped by Hindoos" is still floating worldwide, even though it's been proven how it was predictably christians who raped the nuns instead:
Francois Gautier writes:
<!--QuoteBegin--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin-->the Jhabua rape case, when courts have shown that these nuns were not raped by Hindus, but by Christian tribals.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->Related christian/christomedia lying.)

Referring to frequent reports where he was said to have been pulled up by Ministers, Admiral Mehta said: “You have put my reputation in the dock. By the amount of pulling up I am subjected to, I should have been taller by a couple of feet. I don’t know if that is why I meet Ministers. The press has a responsibility. Be more cautious. I am not asking you to be more careful but you must be more cautious. Are you working for some masters? I leave it to your conscience.”

The Navy chief also criticised two TV correspondents for “breaking their assurance” not to air his interview which was recorded in advance for Navy Day (December 4).

“It was a breach of privilege by these two gentlemen. Just as well that they are not there.” Finding that one was present, he asked the “offender” to tell what was promised. As the journalist sought to give excuses, the Navy chief shot back, “Don’t tell me what happened. The interview was not to be played till day after tomorrow. But both went on air to score brownie points.”

<b>Systemic failure</b>
He said the <b>entry of terrorists into Mumbai by a trawler</b> appeared to indicate a “systemic failure” by the law enforcement agencies. “It needs to be taken care of.”

India Today to Declare War on Terror
http://indiatoday.digitaltoday.in/index.ph...=1&sectionid=19

In the interest of getting action and building public opinion on a sustained basis, the India Today Group has pledged to use all its media platforms to keep this issue in the public consciousness till the Government delivers on its promises. For this, we have launched a movement titled ‘Declare War on Terror’ which is the subject of this special issue.

Also, we will be starting a ‘Declare War on Terror’ forum under the aegis of our non-profit foundation CARE TODAY, which will carry on the movement even after the Mumbai terror attacks have vanished from the headlines. This forum will push for change in policy and law. It will study and present detailed proposals for upgradation of our anti-terror institutions. It will serve as a watchdog body to demand efficiency, governance and alertness from our civil administration. It will ensure that the heroes in this war are honoured. It will, through debate and discussion, try and build a national consensus on this issue. Above all, it will not allow the issue of terrorism to fade away from the public domain and the national agenda.

When <b>IDIOT </b>THE Box became an<!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin-->As the tragedy of terror began to unfold, a far more pathetic picture made itself evident on television

LATE IN the evening of Wednesday, November 26, a flurry of panicky SMSes caused drowsy Mumbai to switch from Jay Leno to the news. An unnerving story about ‘Nigerians’ in a cross-fire outside iconic Leopold’s on the iconic (and nefarious) Colaba Causeway was breathlessly reported. The ‘breaking news’ tag began to scroll; usually used so frequently and imprudently, we may have read it, “boy cries ‘wolf’.” Soon, however, more information began to pour in. Firing at CST, a petrol pump blown up at Colaba, shooting in the lobbies of the Taj and the Oberoi. Around 11 pm, the words ‘Terror Attack’ were used. Mumbai and the rest of sleepy India sat up and began to surf through the channels.
As the obvious tragedy began to unfold, a far more pathetic picture made itself evident. Witless speculation, hyperbole and several times in those first 24 hours, distressing misinformation was shrieked out at viewers. (The ‘siege’ was over, no it wasn’t. People trapped in the hotels were released. No, they were hostages. A terrorist was waving a white flag. The hotels were sanitised. No they weren’t. Karkare, Kamte and Salaskar killed while sauntering into Cama Hospital. No, they were shot in their car.) Eager young field reporters, driven to apparent hysteria with that ‘history in the making’ buzz, betrayed their inexperience while ad-libbing shot-byshot renditions in real time. Conflicting reports on casualties, defence resources, the number of terrorists all came down in an avalanche of bumbling self-contradiction and hasty extrapolation. When CNN led into a report from a correspondent in Mumbai, what accompa nied the footage of the Taj burning and gunfire was the agitated commentary of young woman rendered all but incoherent by her juvenile high-pitch. But even that can be condoned.

What cannot be condoned is the ambulance-chasing, survivor heckling, bloodhungry scramble for TRPs that followed. India watched as Rajdeep Sardesai hovered in-frame over a just-released hostage who was being interviewed by Times Now. They watched him grab the arm of the traumatised man and then drag him into his own channel. He then proceeded to bark, “Were you scared? Were you scared?” Another senior journalist, (whose imprudent use of her mobile phone at a secret bunker during the Kargil war allegedly betrayed the Army’s location) put her arm, rather inappropriately, around the shoulders of a Muslim man and wiped a tear out of her welling eyes as she contemplated the possible loss of life. Yet another, when advised to lie beneath the line of fire, propped herself up on one elbow, almost as if posing for a picture on holiday. A camera caught someone trying to hold a man’s shot, bleeding hand in frame.

Horrified viewers watched as each channel began to try and outdo the other. The branding of the tragedy had begun, “India’s 9/11”, “the war on terror”, all made even more distasteful by the apparent glee of having an ‘international’ scale crisis. The salivation continued, “this is an exclusive story”, “we are the only channel to have this information”, “we are talking to a survivor on the 19th floor”.

<b>Did no senior journalist question the obvious compromise on security when they gave away the locations of the distraught survivors desperately seeking help? Did their experience not make them doubt the wisdom of blatantly displaying the locations of the officers in hiding? Did they even pause to think before blurting out the impending arrival of commandos or the army or the number of officers down?

Simultaneously, the premature post-mortems began. Inapt quote-vendors, dragged into the studio to rage, respond or worse, offer solutions. Writers, actors, advertising professionals were suddenly a treasury of penny-wisdom. </b>

<b>In the aftermath, the afterglow was nauseating. Candle-light vigils were covered in what an astute observer called a ‘Rang-deBasanti-esque’ display of patriotism and grief. Overproduced visuals with background scores ranging from menacing, horror-style bass-string tones to smarmy, weepy wind instruments topped and tailed more discussion, more analysis. Not all the people gathered at the Gateway and in Bengaluru on December 3 were baying for war with Pakistan. Unrepentant, ridiculously innocent of experience still, the interviews were disproportionately represented.

Even as we lament our apathy, our diseased democracy, our bureaucratic failures, even as we sign petitions, file PILs and light candles… we must remember that the fourth estate is our watchdog, our conscience keeper, our counterbalance to internal propaganda. What is heart-breaking is that we have failed to check this decline as we saw it happen. We have turned our backs while watching journalism’s omniscient observer turn into the megalomaniac headline-hunter.

The lessons to be learnt from all quarters are the same. We need to get involved. We need to question aggressively, our politicians, our protectors and now, unfortunately, even those whose job it is to question. Never again must we let them cry wolf, especially now, while the wolf is at the door</b><!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->

.....

What no one admits is that the fault is ours, we screwed up, our defence was unprepared and there was lapses in the intelligence. Instead of having breaking news and trying to outdo each other, the media can be effectively used to make forums, talking about reforms that we seek, use it to give confidence to peo ple, keep them motivated and make them believe that they have the power to change things around.

Instead of being the mouthpiece of the politicians, go to the people, stop playing those sad Bollywood numbers behind your news stories. And please for sanity sake, somebody send Barkha Dutt to outer space. <!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->

<!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin-->The director explains what really transpired that day.

"I know Riteish since years as I have done films with him and also since we belong to the same fraternity. On that day I went to meet Riteish to discuss Rann, my new film, with him which incidentally has got nothing to do with terrorism. As we were talking, Riteish said that his dad was going to Taj and he wished to go with him. So since I was with him I accompanied him there. Mr.Vilasrao has never been formally introduced to me and he didn't even know that I was with Riteish as me and Riteish were in another car. "As far as Riteish is concerned his information was that the areas we might be able to see are the ones where the investigations have already been completed. By the time we reached Taj, there were more than 60-70 people there including police officers, some Government officers and hotel staff. In that whole crowd, I doubt Mr.Vilasrao even noticed me. I was amazed that I got a opportunity to see the place where such a horrendous incident happened and I would like to know which person in the entire country would not have been curious to see the place."

Taking a further dig at the media he adds: "Media makes us believe, not necessarily by intent, that only they have the interest of people in their hearts, and due to that people tend to believe in them blindly. This is a classic example of the blind leading the blind. Outcome of this can be many times ridiculous. As per some media people's suggestions even if remotely this episode can affect a Government's standing, I find that almost as dangerous as terrorism."

The filmmaker lands the shocker in the end: "<b>If people who attack the unarmed are defined as terrorists then media at various levels with their coercive methods and insinuations are very similar. A terrorist attacks the mind and kills the body, the media attacks the mind with its interpretations and kills a person's spirit with its insinuations. In a way I would say that the media is more dangerous than terrorists because they do it under the guise of safe-guarding values.</b>"<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->

<b>There is growing anger against the English Media - an anger which the media can ignore only at its peril -- RR</b>

subject: English media - taste of their own medicine?

The English media has lost the faith of good ordinary Hindus today. There is so much distrust, dislike and even intense anger against 2 24 hr English news channels, 3 English newspapers and one or two political journals that the ordinary good Hindu will today believe any negative news about them. Any negative news. The media persons must pay heed to this sentiment for their own credibility and durability.

I request all of you to take a look at the center page (Sunday Special) of Deccan Chronicle today titled 'when the box became an idiot'. There are 5 columns big and small on this page and ALL OF THEM have not only hit out sharply at all the media but specifically at 2 channels and 2 people by name - the same 2 names whom I had castigated 5 yrs ago for their near hysterical outbursts with blotched faces and tear-filled eyes all because the president of india had applied the brakes on Sonia Gandhi's towering ambitions to return colonial rule to India.

The orgy of sorrow was to have been seen to be believed.

The lady has been put squarely in the dock by all these columnists and not one of them is even mildly rebuking. The criticism is harsh, unapologetic and totally deserved. The lady's penchant to put her arms around muslim men in commisseration on ALL HER SHOWS I thought only I remarked about but so has this person Genesia Tahilramani too.

I just watched Rajdeep Sardesai responding to a polite question from one of his opwn colleagues on his own channel about giving out operational details which endangered lives, particularly with reference to the same lady and others.

Dear Rajdeep said something wholly hilarious. He said this is serious criticism but 'at the end of the day we need hard evidence'.

Fair enough rajdeep but what is the hard evidence that your channel or NDTV have when all of you along with Hemant karkare went hunting for saffron terror, Hindu fundamentalists, RSS killed Gandhi (oh yes I heard all the insinuating, nod nod wink wink allusions).

There was no evidence not one bit of hard evidence to materialize the Hindu terrorist but that did not stop Rajdeep S's channel or Barkha Dutt's channel from going on and on and on and on and on...

It will be a taste of the media's own medicine if these stories refuse to die down and these 2 channels are held responsible for endangering the lives of our men in uniform and our hostages.

Pontificating to politicians must stop, the virulent anti-Hindu posturing if it does not stop, will result in diminishing viewership. I watched only Times Now for 60 hrs. Arnab Goswami came thru as honest, caring and responsible.

There is growing anger against the English media - an anger which the media can ignore only at its peril.

The New Indian Express is a newspaper with its head office based in Chennai, India. It started life in 1932 as the Indian Express under the ownership of Chennai-based Veradharajulu Naidu. In 1999, following the death of the then owner Ramnath Goenka, Goenka’s family split the group into two separate companies. The northern editions, headquartered in Mumbai, retained and renamed Indian Express into The Indian Express title ,whilst the southern editions became The New Indian Express.

The Sentinel - from NE Bharat, gives balanced coverage.

Deccan Herald, from Bangalore

Wikipedia site says, Political allegiance Left-wing. But I found DH is quite balanced.

The Deccan Herald is the largest English-language daily newspaper in the Indian state of Karnataka. It is published by the Printers (Mysore) Private Limited and has a number of editions in Bangalore, Hubli, Mysore, Mangalore and Gulbarga.
