Attack in Mumbai -2

<b>Mumbai locals helped us, terrorist tells cops</b>
<!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin-->MUMBAI: Did some Mumbai locals provide support to the Pakistani terrorists? <b>Azam Amir Kasab, the only Pakistani terrorist nabbed alive, has revealed names and addresses of at least five people from the city who helped the terror operation.</b>

Sources said that help like, providing shelter, taking them around and showing places, passing information on police stations and nakabandhis were given by these locals. Joint commissioner of police (crime) Rakesh Maria said,"<b>We suspect there could be local assistants but it is subject to verification. It will be very premature to comment on this at this stage as our investigations is going on.</b>''

Kasab has told police that they were sent with a specific mission of targeting Israelis to avenge atrocities on Palestinians. This was why they targetted Nariman House, a complex meant for Israelis. Sources said Kasab's colleagues killed in the operation had stayed in Nariman House earlier.

<b>"They have stayed in Nariman house on rental basis identifying themselves as Malaysian students.'' said a source. Police are trying to find out how Nariman House rooms were given to non-Jews.</b> Police has taken all the records books of for verification. The second target was the CST railway station because casualties would be high.

Crime branch has also recovered several fake identity and credit cards from the belongings of dead terrorists. "All the cards are in different names and of different banks. <b>Now we are at least trying to figure out how they procured credit cards from various banks.'' said Maria. The recovery of so many cards with different names have led Mumbai police to suspect the involvement of ISI</b>.

Though Maria maintained only 10 terrorists had sneaked in, the two blasts in taxis in Wadi Bunder and Vile Parle have led the police to believe there could be possibility of the presence of another two or more terrorists in the city. <!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->

I salute my ancestors everyday, they stayed Hindus under every kind of pressure during ancient times and during modern India. Weak are those who accepted Islam because of greed or were just coward.

Khatri used to be fighter class, Keeping his Hindu last name, shows they want to keep fighter tag but not religion. Not from invading Arab ancestory.
Why half proud?

Who was in charge?
Mumbai did not have one man in charge sitting in a command centre, directing operations. Instead, reflecting the diffused nature of the graded and gradual response, it had a multitude of security agencies who took over storming operations soon after the situation began slipping out of the Mumbai Police's hands around midnight of November 26.

Here's who they were:

Lt General Nobel Thamburaj
General Officer Commanding in Chief Southern Command, based in Pune. The Maharashtra and Gujarat (M&G) area commanded by Major General Hooda reports to him. Thamburaj is the army's next vice chief designate. When the troops of the M&G area and Marine Commandos could not break the siege, the southern command deployed army commandos flown in from outside Mumbai.

J.K. Dutt, Director General, NSG
Heads the 7,000-strong National Security Guard which is the union home ministry's special response unit. Has two arms – the Special Action Group (SAG) staffed entirely by army personnel on deputation and the Special Ranger Group (SRG) staffed by police and paramilitary forces on deputation. The NSG deployed two units of the SAG – 51 and 52 – tasked with counter-assault and anti-hijack to break the siege at the Oberoi and Taj hotels and Nariman House.

Vice Admiral Jagjit Singh Bedi
Flag Officer Commanding Western Naval Command based in Mumbai. Received a call from the Maharashtra chief secretary around Wednesday midnight requesting for Marine Commandos. Eighteen marine commandos were rushed into Taj Hotel and they began an encounter with the terrorists holed up inside around midnight. The force was increased to around 30 later in the day and assisted the NSG in operations for the next 48 hours.

There was complete failure everywhere-
1) Top ATS guys were ambushed within 30 mins because of their own carelessness or unprofessionalism.
2) CM immedately called Army and Navy without even ground work.
Why ATS was not pressed in to collect ground information? NSG came 4 am along with Home Minister.
3) Nariman House was ignored for more than 24 hours, no attempt to rescue them. Low priority again appeasement policy.
4) No hotel Blue print given to MARCOS or NSG as or before they reached, they were using hotel staff to do work
5) Media was worst
6) NSG failed to protect hostage, delay in neutralizing terrorist. Not a single hostage survived.
2 NSG 2 MARCOS commandos died during operation along with 60 +hostages.

<b>Terrorists Used Vermillion, Religious Thread</b><!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin-->
Mumbai, November 29 (PTI)
Hindu religious thread on militants' wrist? Terrorists, who carried out the most audacious attack, tied the threads and applied vermillion on their foreheads to pass off as locals in case they were intercepted by Indian naval forces.

<b>After murdering four fishermen onboard a trawler in the Arabian sea, the militants saw that the boat had several things including a "mauli" (religious thread used in Hindu religion), official sources said.

An arrested militant Ajmal Amin told the interrogators that when their hijacked fishing boat was approaching the Indian shores, they saw some Navy men.

Immediately, they tied the threads and some of them even put on vermilion to look like Hindus, the sources quoting the arrested militant said.</b>

However, the militants managed to docked at Sasool in Cuff Parade from where they reached Gateway of India to carry out the attacks and were not intercepted by the naval forces.

The fishermen, while going out fishing in high seas, usually carry things to perform prayers.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->

This is a good post from a forum that will yet again go unmentioned here, detailing the absolutely horrid failure of Indian leadership, security, intelligence, and worst of all, its citizenry.

<!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin-->This is the first time since the Mumbai attacks I've posted on CENSORED and spending Thanksgiving in the US I should say that I am thankful that my family doesnt have to live in a country ruled by the impotent and the craven. I've been essentially following the story continuously here on CNN America (which has given it total coverage ) and everything I've seen and heard about this situation leads me to believe that India deserved this attack. All the shame, humiliation and loss it brought with it are also deserved for its reckless apathy and lackadaisical attitude towards terrorism. Any Prime minister with even an iota of dignity would dissolve the Parliament and call for fresh elections after such a colossal failure. Now, we KNOW that Manmohan Singh is a gutless and pathetic man who I wouldnt even hire to secure my house, apparently Indian voters think he can protect their country (or rather Sonia "Gandhi" should I say).

The entire operation that was shown to the whole world was so amateurish and pathetic that it baffled the mind that Mumbai police and Indian police were so utterly useless. The fire brigades, from the last century, were totally incapable of putting out a simple fire for hours, they didnt even have enough fire hydrants! The so called famed "NSG" couldnt even clear the Taj for more than 24 hours. The much talked about "RAW" was useless. There was no semblance of any preservation of the "crime scene" for future forensic analysis, no perimeter, mobs were just let loose to spectate and the worst thing was there was no official government spokesperson to inform the Indian public and the world at large of what the devil was going on until very late in the game and the message from the Indian Prime Minister were banal platitudes that say nothing. It was truly the picture of a banana republic.

If the same thing had happened in the West, I can safely say that it wouldn't take 3 days and cost nearly 200 lives to kill just 11 terrorists no matter how well they were armed or trained. The level of competence of this operations shows just how good the Indian commando's really are. From the results, not nearly as good as all the people here lead others to believe.

This entire episode should be examined with a cold eye to learn from the experience. A country that accepts sporadic terrorist attacks in its stride is merely foolish and its citizenry accepting incompetence from their elected officials even more so. Truly, the deaths of all those who died in all these attacks are not on the hands of the people in mountains of Afghanistan or the madrassas of Pakistan but rather the Indian citizens themselves for electing such ineffectual leaders. If you cant secure your own house, you cant blame the psychopath for entering and slitting your throats while you sleep. The Indian electorate deserves every single terrorist attack and suicide bombing and anyone killed for the choices it makes on election day.

As Hindu scriptures say, this was all your 'Karma'.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->

One can imagine what kind of responses this post got from the stubborn morons who don't wish to see the truth even if it is right in front of them.

I fullly agree with above post. Same I am saying.
I had big debate with someone in India. They are unable to understand what is hitting them.

Indian society is chaotic society. Whether its marriage function or any small gathering at home or any gathering where more than two will be a chaos. Same is ingrained in every aspect of daily life of every Indian.
Some signs we see even we leave country, but we behave pretty good outside, it means this can be fixed. It should be fixed.
Change in mindset and individual accountability is must. Make every individual responsible to its act. Everyone is resposible for its own Karma. Indians had adopted socialist attitude in its way of life, they have to get rid of that attitude.

<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->Jeebus creepus Mudy, what is the international christoterrorist press going to do now? How will they be able to spin their islamo apologetics and blame the Hindus for exploding themselves, now that it's been proven that the "False Flag" operations they were insinuating about were actually conducted by the *islamis* to pass themselves off as Hindus and not the other way around as the eager christoterrorist mouthpieces had alleged?
Poor christo press, they've been thwarted. Maybe they should go back to condemning Sadhvi, Purohit, Upadhyay and the others ("Hindoo Terrier") without waiting for unimportant little things like 'evidence'. After all, lying is the only thing the local and international christo press is good at.

Not always true that things are handled well in west, remember ruby ridge/waco, but at least they admitted that those were failures whereas among Indians blind patriotism rules the day without any questions asked on how to improve our response, for example how the hell can the NSG guys not be given blue prints for even an important landmark like Taj?

And the constables being sent in with enfields wtf?

The point is unnecessary casualties of both the military and civilians could have been avoided if they had better equipment instead of outdated garbage.

If BJP comes to power they better start increasing funding for emergency services while disbanding useless garbage like minorities comission bla bla bla, these would include medical teams, fire service, cops, military.

<b>Why did NSG take 9 hrs to get there? </b><!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin-->NEW DELHI: The terrorists strike Mumbai at 9.30pm. Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh is in Kerala. He is briefed about the attack on the city’s prime locations. By the time Deshmukh grasps the enormity of the situation, 90 minutes have gone by.

He rings Union home minister Shivraj Patil at 11pm and asks for NSG commandos. "How many men?" Patil asks. "200," says the CM. Patil calls NSG chief J K Dutt and tells him to send 200 battle-ready commandos to Mumbai.

Most of the NSG men have to be roused from sleep. They don their uniforms, strap on safety gear, collect ammo and firearms. It is discovered that the only plane that can take 200 men, the IL 76, is not in Delhi but Chandigarh. Precious minutes are ticking by.

The IL 76 pilot is woken, the plane refuelled. It reaches Delhi at 2am. By the time the commandos get in and the plane takes off, four-and-a-half hours have elapsed. Experts say that unless a response is mounted within 30 minutes of an attack, the enemy can assume key defensive positions.

It takes the aircraft almost three hours to land at Mumbai airport. Unlike the Boeing and Airbus, IL 76 is a slow plane. By the time the NSG commandos board the waiting buses it is 5.25am.

The buses take another 40 minutes to reach the designated place in south Mumbai where the commandos are briefed, divided into different groups and sent out on their mission.

By the time they start their operation, it is 7am — in other words, nine-and-a-half hours after the terror strike.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Bharatvarsh,
Above is another example, how careless they are? This is not first time and this is not last time, mark my word, same will happen again

Who knows whether there was bullet inside his rifle or whether he ever practiced shooting in last 3-4 years?
They way ATS guys were playing with gun was very unprofessional or I can say dumb and stupid.

When Oklahoma City incidence took place I was working in near by city, they locked whole place, they were looking for Middle Eastern looking people but they were looking for everyone. With good police work, they were able to catch Timothy within 2 days. Even after Katrina failure, this year whole thing was different.
Accept we had made mistake and we will fix it.

I listen to conservative radio, you know how much they were against Obama during election, they are still against, but everyday they say, he is our President, we want his success for our safety, our country safety and for our children future, we want him to be successful, we will speak against him if we see his policy will jeopardize our safety etc. They don't want him to stop mission against Islamist.
I got my initial Mumbai attack information from Rush Radio show, at that time he was discussing Somali Pirate incidence and India's role. During that discussion he said before President Jefferson, US used to bribe Somali Pirates in African sea, Jefferson got fed up paying pirates and he took his small Navy and attacked them, It was first US direct conflict with Islamist. Basically he was telling listeners, US had fought with Islamist before and what US is doing now is not first time, <b>we can buy peace for short duration, we can achieve real peace by eliminating our enemies.</b>

(What would christiane know about the islamaniac situation in India, isn't she an Iranian christoterrorist? I guess she really loves the Love islamics show her christoterrorist kind in Iran and wants to champion their cause all over the globe - or only in India?
Christian apologetics for christoislami terrorism - whether the apologetics emanates from cryptos/christos of Indian, US, Australian, Iranian or whatever origin - is all the same. Amanpour regurgitating the same old fictions that the Indian and international christomedia of India bring up routinely.)

While there are numerous deep-rooted problems with the military and the police I would not blame them too much. They are not the deva senA and India is a democratic state so the army does not control everything. The reason the Jews pulled of the attack on Uganda so well was because there was coordination between the different wings and each did their part and understood their place. In our case the civilian government state and central are dysfunctional. The intelligence agencies like IB and RA&W have poor coordination with the senA and are not very professional. Civil service is too politically entangled. General public is well largely unaware and ill-informed. With all these problems the defense and law-enforcement is curtailed in many ways. If the leadership could not supply the NSG with a plan of the hotel then how can one shift all blame on them them?

Of course the Kangress inspired "Hindu terror" fake investigations cost the people dearly -- one reason why the elite should vote rather than take the election days as a nice holiday.

One thing. Hindus in the army should <b>never die for christoislamis</b>: the ingrates will only tax your parents for Haj and Bethlehem trip subsidies, try to missionise/terrorise them into conversion and attempt to take over your local Temple's lands to put their ugly terrorist centres there (churches, mosques, jeebus statues).
If you're going to die, make sure it is only for your Bharatmata and for other Dharmics (other Natural Traditionalists). Better yet, don't die - except of natural causes.

<b>Mudy Ji:</b>

I have been advocating this action in addition to others and reiterate that the best way to hit the Terroristanis is to stop Cricket - in fact all Sporting Links - alongwith no more India Visit Visas, no more Terroristanis to take part in India's Entertainment or any other Sector of Economy and finally do the same with Bangladesh.

<b>NEW DELHI : India's government has refused permission to send a cricket team for a full tour of Pakistan early next year following the deadly Mumbai attacks, Indian television reported on Sunday.

The tour was cancelled amid a government probe into Pakistani links to the assaults on the country's financial capital by heavily-armed militants that left nearly 200 people dead.

Two Indian news channels, quoting unnamed government sources, said the matches were also unlikely to be played at neutral venues.</b>
