MUMBAI: Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray on Saturday accused Maharashtra CM Ashok Chavan of behaving like the bodyguard of actor Shah Rukh Khan.
ââ¬Ëââ¬ËThe CM should stand outside ââ¬ËMannatââ¬â¢ (SRKââ¬â¢s house) and protect the actor,ââ¬â¢Ã¢â¬â¢ Thackeray wrote in ââ¬ËSaamnaââ¬â¢, the Sena mouthpiece.
Thackeray was angry with Chavan for allowing the police to act tough with Sainiks protesting against MNIK.
Thackeray, however, spared home minister RR Patil, who had personally monitored the police bandobast.
Patil had watched the film at a Mumbai theatre on Friday to send a strong message to Sena.
