<b>Foreign debt dips by $737m</b>
<!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin-->KARACHI - The external debt and foreign exchange liabilities of Pakistan showed a surprising decline of 737 million dollars during the first five months of this financial year.
In June 2008, the foreign debt and liabilities stood at 46.284 billion dollars, which have dropped to 45.547 billion dollars by November 30, 2008, showing a decrease of 740 million dollars.
From July-November 2008, the foreign debt dropped to 43.854 billion dollars, from 44.467 billion dollars. Thus the foreign debt showed a decline of 613 million dollars in first five months of this fiscal against the quantum of foreign debt in June 2008.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->
