<b>Pastors root for YSR</b>

Staff Reporter

VISAKHAPATNAM: Pastors and Christian religious heads from the city and district expressed the view that only the Congress can safeguard and uphold the secular fabric of the Constitution that guarantees all citizens the freedom to pursue the religion of their choice. Thousands of pastors and Christian religious leaders participated in a meeting organised by Visakhapatnam Pastors Fellowship at the Municipal Stadium here on Friday. Later giving details to newsmen, <b>State Pastors Fellowship president Rev K. Pratap Sinha said that a Special Minority Corporation was established, a subsidy of Rs.20,000 was being extended to Christians to visit Jerusalem and Rs.15,000 worth material was being sanctioned to poor Christian couples who were marrying at mass weddings. All these benefits were being extended to Christians in AP as nowhere else in the country, he said and gave full credit to Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy for these programmes.</b>

Bishop K.R. Singh said that the Rajasekhara Reddy Government had introduced several welfare schemes for the poor .

Visakha Pastors Fellowship president M.A. Paul called for unity among the community members. The pastors would pray for the success of Rajasekhara Reddy from March 23 to April 23.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->

The following is christoterrorist theft of a Hindu tradition: much Hindu temple money and a lot of the money given to Mathas went to them conducting mass marriages of poorer Hindu couples. Now Hindus' money is stolen and given to christoterrorists so they can convert more:

<!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin-->This is a brilliant piece on the Christian-Dravidian nexus and how the <b>divine Hindu language 'Tamil'</b> is being hijacked by the Church to establish a Tamil-Christian region including Sri Lanka with Tamilnadu. I know of the case of Francis Xavier's encounter with Brahmanas. Is the above comment perhaps confusing Caldwell with Xavier? But it does not seem to be the exact same situation:
http://hamsa.org/coelho.htm
<!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin-->There is a story that the first debate Francis Xavier had with Brahmins took place in the Tiruchendur Murugan Temple on the south coast of Tamil Nadu. He preached and they listened carefully. Then they laughed. They told him that his conception of God was immature and inadequate. God was beyond number and count, neither one nor three-in-one as he claimed. His idea that God had only one incarnation in history was absurd and served a selfish purpose, denying God to other nations and peoples. It placed unacceptable limitations on an all-powerful, all-pervasive, all-compassionate God. <b>Xavier left the temple courtyard in disgrace, to proselytize the helpless fishermen, and Brahmins became his feared, implacable enemy.</b><!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->Of course the christoterrorist could only get Hindu fishermen by forcibly converting them:
http://www.hamsa.org/14.htm
<!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin-->The Roman Catholic missionaries, headed by St. Francis Xavier,[39] were not only forcefully converting to their faith large numbers on the pearl--fishery coast ... but induced the fishermen to transfer their allegiance to the king of Portugal.... <!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd--> http://hamsa.org/coelho.htm
<!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin-->[39] In a letter to the Society of Jesus, quoted by Sita Ram Goel in St. <i>Francis Xavier: The Man and His Mission</i>, Xavier wrote, "Following the baptisms, the new Christians return to their homes and come back with their wives and families to be in their turn also prepared for baptism. After all have been baptized, I order that everywhere the temples of the false gods be pulled down and idols broken. I know not how to describe in words the joy I feel before the spectacle of pulling down and destroying the idols by the very people who formerly worshipped them.' <b>Xavier did this after the Hindu raja of Quilon had given him a large grant to build churches. In another letter he writes, 'There are in these parts among the pagans a class of men called Brahmins. They are as perverse and wicked a set as can anywhere be found, and to whom applies the Psalm which says: "From an unholy race, and wicked and crafty men, deliver me, Lord.' If it were not for the Brahmins, we should have all the heathens embracing our faith."</b><!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd--> http://www.hamsa.org/14.htm
<!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin-->Francis Xavier was the pioneer of anti-Brahmanism which was adopted in due course as a major plank in the missionary propaganda by all Christian denominations. Lord Minto, Governor General of India from 1807 to 1812, submitted a Note to his superiors in London when the British Parliament was debating whether missionaries should be permitted in East India Company’s domain under the Charter of 1813. He enclosed with his Note some “propaganda material used by the missionaries” and, referring to one missionary tract in particular, wrote: “The remainder of this tract seems to aim principally at a general massacre of the Brahmanas” (M. D. David (ed.), Western Colonialism in Asia and Christianity, Bombay, 1988, p. 85). Anti-Brahmanism has become the dominant theme in the speeches and writings of Indian secularists of all sorts. <!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->

Back to Caldwell. His psychology shows a reactionary state as well. The following is listed as being from Michel Danino's "The Invasion (Aryan) that never was":
<!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin-->Caldwell, finally had a strong anti-Brahmin bias (something, again, non-existent in Tamil literature or tradition), and affirmed that "few Brahmans have written (in Tamil) anything worthy of preservation - a crudely false statement when Brahmins (and non brahmins alike) have composed so much devotional literature in Tamil. <b>This "brahminophobia" makes perfect sense, however, if we remember that Caldwell was first and foremost a missionary (he prefaced the second edition of his book from the "Office of the Society for the Propagation of the Gospel" in London), and that missionaries always considered Brahmins as the greatest stumbling block to India's Christianisation.</b>

Once again, the Aryan invasion theory refused to be confined to dusty academic studies and lecture halls. Caldwell's theories were lapped up by more and more scholars, and finally by the "Dravidian movement" launched by E.V. Ramaswamy Naicker. Not only was the teaching and study of Sanskrit starved and discouraged in Tamilnadu to break its "hegemony", there was also (mostly in the 1940s and 1950s) a drive to "cleanse" the Tamil language of its large Sanskrit vocabulary.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->Caldwell's hatred of Brahmanas seems to parallel Xavier's. Is there a similar event of attempted-but-failed conversion from which Caldwell derived his hatred? And the top-down conversion pattern (targetting royalty or religious order for conversion, so the christianisation can cascade down) is the first pattern they always attempt. Christians all have one psychology: hate the inconvertibles, propagandise against them and try to genocide them. (E.g. Jews) Caldwell's whole dravidian invention and exclusion of Tamizh Brahmanas from Tamizh, and separation of Samskritam words seem to have found their origin in this hatred. Else why would he infuse his hatred into his 'scientific' book:
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Caldwell
<!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin-->Throughout his book Comparative Study of the South Indian or Dravidian family of Languages, Caldwell accuses Brahmins of spreading lies and of not practising what they preach.[17]<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->

<b>Nuns treated like servants by priests : Cardinal</b>

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM : Early last year, a study by the Catholic church found that 25% of the nuns in Kerala were unhappy with life inside the four walls of a convent. More recently, a former nun dropped a bombshell revealing in a book about sexual abuse and mental harassment she suffered in the order. Now,there's further confirmation of their misery and it comes from the leader of India's archbishops.

Cardinal Varkey Vithayathil, who is president of Catholic Bishops Council of India, says the nuns are humiliated by priests and they live in fear.

The cardinal's views have appeared in his biography, much like the nun's own. If Sister Jesmi's book was called `Amen! Autobiography of a nun', Vithayathil's book is titled `Straight from the heart'. The cardinal tells his biographer Paul Thelakat, the spokesperson of Syro-Malabar Church, that the time has come to free the nuns from the "pitiable situation'' they are in.

"I would say to a great extent our nuns are not emancipated women. They are often kept under submission by the fear of revenge by priests. That's how the priests get away with whatever humiliation they heap upon them. It is a pitiable situation from which somebody has to liberate them,'' says the 82-year-old cardinal.

"A big complaint of our nuns is that the diocesan priests are treating them like servants, making them wash their clothes, prepare their food, wash the churches, etc and that too without getting paid. These are all unjust ways of treating the women religious.''

About the criticism against the clergy in the controversial Sister Abhaya murder, the senior priest says he believed that the Church had not tried to hide anything in the case. "The Church does not want to protect anyone.''

Vithayathil admits that there has been erosion in values in religious life. "I think asceticism has gone out of religious life.'' He also points to the growing gap between the clergy and laity.

Also, in what would be music to the ears of the Sangh Parivar, the cardinal lends legitimacy to arguments against religious conversion. "I must add that there is some truth in their contention that certain Christian groups are going about making mass conversions without any real conversion of heart.''

He says the Church believes in admitting to its fold "people who have belief in the Church'' and not in mass conversion of people "who have no faith and become Christians only nominally''. He, however, slams anti-conversion laws, which he says, have banned even legitimate conversion

It is a measure of the success of the Christian propaganda machinery that Hindus have no threat-perception of their own. How else can we explain that notwithstanding the barbaric Crusades, Atlantic slave trade, White Christian European colonialism, the near-total extermination of the native peoples of North and South America, and the total destruction of the faiths and cultures of Native Americans, Africans and growing sections of Asians, uni-polar or bi-polar world order, the poles are always located in the Christian world, Hindus see the sword of Islam clearly, but do not see or sense the Christian cancer eating into the vitals of the Hindu nation?

Horrified senior advocates of the Madras High Court who read my column “Madras High Court lawyers’ mutiny – the church’s first big step” are pressing the panic button. The idea that the Bar and judiciary has been brought to its knees by a section of lawyers espousing Tamil Eelam and that Eelam will be a Tamil Christian state has jolted their grey cells into feverish activity. While no immediate decisive result of the brain activity is expected, at least a beginning has been made towards kindling awareness within this self-absorbed community about the simmering Tamil chauvinist political cauldron.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->Rest of article at link. <!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->Look at that. The catholic church didn't know HOW fast to respond to Jesme's book. But, realising that <b>outright denial</b> won't get them anywhere now, they have set out to do what they do best: <b>minimise</b> the damage. Similar to the way they decided on the matter of the Jewish Holocaust that they naturally couldn't say they had protected the Jews - since everyone obviously knew otherwise. So, instead of owning up to how they genocided the Jews, they settled with "we didn't speak out", "our bad that we did nothing". And then they hoped people would not find out that what the church factually did was FAR worse than merely inaction: it was outright genocide.
Christianism. The times may change, but their penchant for lying and apologetics hasn't.

So what has the Cardinal 'confessed' to in the above:
1. Can't deny that christianism (in this case, catholicism) is terrorising its nuns: Jesme has revealed facts that truly shock the public. This cardinal does his best to reduce the blow by saying their women "are not emancipated enough", but "overworked". In the comparison, what he admits to is a much smaller 'crime' to the realities revealed by Jesme.

2. About the sister Abhaya case - which has finally come out - the cardinal still protects the church saying he thinks the church is innocent of having tried to hide 'anything'.
Exactly the same routine the Vatican pulled with the Jewish Holocaust: instead of admitting to how it helped track down those with Jewish origins, and forcibly euthanised people with disabilities (as part of the christian nazi eugenics programme), the church said it merely didn't do anything, that it had remained silent.
Same here: instead of admitting that the christians killed Abhaya and the church did its best to cover it up and not get caught, the accomplice-through-concealment cardinal decides that the church didn't try to protect anyone. How forthright of both church and priesty. Touching.

3. Now that facts about the eternal christian terrorism of the priestly (non) celibates has come out (that sexual predation in the church has been a matter of course since the church started, see for instance Krishen Kak's articles at Vijayvaani reposted somewhere on IF), the church has got all alarmed. Not wanting realisation of christianism's history and that of the church to dawn, they've decided the best tack is to admit things are bad now, but that they were originally good - that "there has been erosion in values in religious life". (With the intended conclusion that all this despicable christianist behaviour going on churches is "not christianism/the church's fault", but is due to "circumstances" or "the times".) The catholic cardinal does his best to cover up, with the words: "I think asceticism has gone out of religious life.''
As if there ever was any real asceticism in christianism. Even the early church fathers wrote about how the christian pretenders-to-asceticism in their times were actually rather lecherous, see http://freetruth.50webs.org/B3c.htm#Morality

4. The cardinal - forced to confess there's christian terrorism in converting Hindus - blames 'certain other christian cults' rather than his own. He reiterates the christian PR that they want individuals, not the masses. Well that ain't what they practise, that's just something they tell the heathens so the heathens' sense of right is appeased.

And <i>of course</i> the christian cardinal holds steadfastly to the christian directive that anti-conversion laws are EVIL, because (he points out) there are also 'genuine' conversions.
<b>Who cares.</b> Christianism itself is not genuine. It is a debilitating mindvirus.
Not only are the 'genuine conversions' very few, but "genuine conversions" to christoislamicommunism are as desirable as genuine conversion to nazism or sociopathy/terrorism. As in, not remotely desirable: No one wants nazis or terrorists or sociopaths - who cares if they genuinely <i>chose</i> this mental state. It's NOT a valid path. The followers are inevitably a danger to the existence of others. That's all there is to it. Ban conversion to christoislamicommunism. Make reconverting into Dharmic traditions - of those who've ended up in terrorism - a mandate.
Christians seek more representation

<!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin-->He said that though official records state the percentage of Christians in the State to be close to <b>9%, the actual figure is about 19% of the total population</b>, which is a significant number that needs to be accounted for, he said.

A local RSS leader, who was arrested in connection with anti-Christian riots last year, was gunned down by suspected Maoists in Orissa's communally sensitive Kandhamal district early on Thursday.

About 15 armed ultras struck Rudiguma village, about 145 km from Phulbani, in the wee hours and shot dead Prabhat Panigrahi, who was staying at an RSS activist's house, police said.

A massive combing operation has been launched to nab the assailants. Additional forces have been deployed in and around the village as a precautionary measure to prevent any untoward incident.

As the Maoists had blocked the road between Kotagada and Rudiguma by felling trees, it took longer time for the police to reach the spot after clearing the road, the police said.

Panigrahi had been arrested for alleged involvement in communal riots that had rocked Kandhamal after the killing of VHP leader Laxmanananda Saraswati and four others on August 23, 2008, sources said.

He had been released from Baliguda jail on bail on March 14. Panigrahi, who hails from nearby Bandapipili village, was in the hit list of the ultras, the sources said.

<b>Tension grips Jamalpur following 'forced conversion'</b>

Ludhiana Tension gripped the Economic Weaker Section (EWS) colony in
Jamalpur on the Chandigarh Road following allegations and counter
allegations of <b>forced conversion to Christianity and subsequent
destroying of Bible scriptures.</b>
According to sources, on late Sunday evening some persons allegedly
stormed into a small church in the EWS colony and damaged holy
scriptures. "The assailants also manhandled the members of our
community and did not spare even women," said Albert Dua of the
Christian United Federation.

But some persons from the rival group said that <b>some members of the
church were forcibly converting a man and the mother of the man had
threatened self immolation if he was converted.</b> But Albert Dua denied
all the allegations .

After receiving the information, the officers from the district and
police administration reached the spot and tried to pacify both
factions.

SP (Headquarters) Harish Kumar, SP City II Harjinder Singh, DSP
Harmohan Singh and the area sub divisional magistrate (SDM) were among
those who went to the area to take a stock of the situation and to
broker peace.

SSP Dr Sukhchain Singh Gill said, "The situation is fully under
control and thankfully it did not take an ugly turn. Both groups have
almost reached to an understanding and the matter is likely to be
resolved soon."

Mangalore: Weeds within - Seven Arrested for Damaging Church Property

Pics: Dayanand Kukkaje
Daijiworld Media Network - Mangalore (SP)

Mangalore, Mar 19: In connection with indulging in rampage in a banana plantation belonging to Babbukatte Nityadhar Church and trying to disrupt peace in the region, Ullal policemen arrested seven persons on Wednesday March 18.

They are Jayson Verghese (23), Vijit Sunny Rozario (21), Araki Alfred (20), Roshan Cutinho (26), all from Nityadhar Nagar and Ronald Roshan (22), a resident of Kuttar Prakash Nagar. They were produced in the court on Wednesday.

On Monday morning, the banana plantation was found to have been damaged heavily to look as if people belonging to a particular community had barged into the plantation, and a saffron flag had been planted there, signifying that Hindu outfits had been involved with the destruction. The incident took place at a time when Hindu Samajotsav was being organized in the city.

The policemen said that during interrogation, the arrested persons revealed, they wanted to disturb the peace in the region by projecting the incident as a handiwork of a particular community.

Banana Plantation that was damaged

While making inquiries about those who inflicted the above damage, the policemen could by chance, lay their hands on the two accused, who had burnt down a motor bike on November 30 near Pandit House. Joy D'Souza (20) and Calvin Johnson D'Souza, from Nityadhar Nagar, accused of this act, were arrested and produced in the court on Wednesday. The policemen are also looking at the possibility of these two having been also involved with the destruction of the banana plantation.

Under the guidance of the city rural inspector Lingappa Poojary, Ullal sub-inspector of police Shivprakash has been conducting investigation.

Mangalore: Weeds within - Seven Arrested for Damaging Church Property

The policemen said that during interrogation, the arrested persons revealed, they wanted to disturb the peace in the region by projecting the incident as a handiwork of a particular community.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->No surprise, that's what christians <i>do</i>. E.g. Sri Lanka:

<b>Attacks on christian churches are self-inflicted</b>

It's one of their patterns of behaviour. Just like christians are into murdering anti-conversionist heathen leaders and then denying they did it. E.g. how they murdered Swami Lakshmanananda after several earlier assassination attempts where the attackers were known to be christian, how christoterrorists murdered SL Buddhist monk Soma Thero after having repeatedly attacked him and issued death threats against him:
http://www.shamika.50g.com/somathero/art...tibud.html
<!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin-->Does Lindsay Beck knows, that Soma Thero had been attacked at some occasions, by some Christians when he was doing sermons against unethical conversions? Why doesn’t the writer talk about the death threats, which Soma Thero got? Can anyone say that the whole incident is not suspicious?<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->

Christians like to make themselves look like victims of others when they are the arch-terrorists. It's their repugnant sick religion. It's what makes them do it. Christianism is as bad as nazism - well, nazism is but a subset of christianism so christianism is worse than nazism.

<b>let them put up a statue of a clown (say karunanidhi or laloo) near the vatican first</b>
mar 20th, 2009

look at the fuss that the ELM and the white-guy press are making over this. the white guys are shocked that someone wouldn't want a white guy's giant statue ruining the countryside. let them show the other cheek, and put up a statue of say raj kapoor's awara somewhere in the US or limey-land or the vatican. then we can talk. incidentally, are then *any* statues of any indian anywhere else in the world? i can think of one or two tiny gandhi busts in the us, and then there's the statue of radhabinod pal at yasukuni the war memorial in tokyo, but that's about it. yet we have a whole bunch of statues of white guys in india. why not tear them all down? down with the white guy statues, i say!
(Hear, hear. At least initially, I'd settle for the downing of the many new anti-Dharmic statues of jeebus which the christos have been busy planting in Bharatam, such as the jeebus statues at TN train stations as per Radha Rajan, and the statue of the christoDMK terrorist chieftain evr something which the rabid christos pushed to have installed in front of the Sri Rangam Kovil.)

despite the spin put on this by the ELM and the pseudo-seculars, the issue is as follows: a giant statue of charlie chaplin, a clown, (do you know how big a 67 foot statue is?) will be overhanging a temple. it ruins the view and is disgusting.

why can't they put this clown up right next to one of the many churches in mangalore?

of course not, the ratzy-people would object.

similarly, on the beach in trivandrum, there is a giant 50-foot reclining statue of an obviously sexually roused and voluptuous woman, titled mermaid. this is right smack in front of a devi temple.

in the vicinity, there is a huge mary church and at least four more churches. there are at least six mohammedan mosques within one square kilometer. (the semites are competing to capture the waterfront, for purposes you can imagine). of course, nobody would dare erect the pornographic statue next to the semitic entities. the one old hindu temple is victimized.

ah, yes, all religions are treated equally in india, indeed.

    Dear Friend,

I recently came to know that Charlie Chaplin is a christian! I am malayalee, in your terminology a malayalee hindu.
(Christian infiltrators always make it a point to first stress they are 'Hindus' and then to plead for psecularism or even to directly assault Hindus and Hindu Dharma thereafter. It's Standard Operating Procedure for christoterrorists.)
I have had many friends, in your terminology muslim friends and christian friends. I never felt the need of inquiring about someone's religion, so was the case of Charlie Chaplin.

Does Charlie Chaplin have a religion at all dear friend? He is a living legend across the world. A man who made people happy with his sorrows! He doesn't need statues dear, for he lives in the lives of millions of people all over the world.

Any way thanks for making me aware that Charlie Chaplin was a christian. And btw I hope you are a human first, then hindu or muslim?
(Typical undercover christo. They always bring up "Hindus and muslims" - and sometimes even their own kind "the christians" to make doubly sure no one catches on that it's a christo that's talking - to teach Hindus a lesson in "psecularism".
As if any Natural Tradition can ever be mentioned by symmetry in the same sentence as the terrorist ideology of christoislamism. Christos always try to legitimise their ideology in heathen-majority nations by bringing up the terrorist ideologies in the same statement as the Natural Traditions. Sadly, to no avail. The terrorist ideology of christoislamism remains alien, unnatural and terrorist in the entire world.)

    Thanks,

How disgusting would it for you the Khajuraho temple? Those sculpures are not vulgar, it is your mind that is vulgar. Hinduism equates nudity with divinity. That is why Hindus see Krishna antics not as vulgarity but divinity.

Can you tell how Matsyakanyaka is vulgar?

    >> it ruins the view and is disgusting.

As you were there in front of that temple. It doesn't obstruct the temple. Nor it is disgusting.

warning: christist taliban al-taqiya alert in the 2 comments by "rupesh" above!!!

as soon as someone calls you "dear friend", you know he's a christist taliban. this is like as soon as some desi comes up to you with a big smile in a shopping mall in the US, you know he's from amway. they are both trying to sell you a bill of goods.

the christist taliban are trained to use this "dear friend" approach. see, even though this fellow "rupesh" (yeah, right) is functionally illiterate, he persists in the false friendliness. this is step one. step two is "come meet jesus". step three is "come meet my lovely sister maria". step four is "let me now stab you in the back". step five is "okay, time for the AK-47s". yes, there is a program in place.

nice al-taqiya attempt, boy, but no cigar.

2. Still on the topic of the christo statue that christoterrorists want to place to obstruct a Temple. Hindus remain oblivious, but this is a common christian tactic in places of heathen majority (elsewhere they just mow down the heathens and break the Temples and build terrorist centres of christian congregation known as 'churches' over them). They put statues of christians in those sacred heathen areas where they can't get away with infecting the area with statues of jeebus or mary.

<!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin--><b>more on the charlie chaplin statue: it was illegal too</b>
mar 23rd, 2009

i have just found that the famous charlie chaplin statue that some joker wanted to build (67 feet high, that's six floors high) was within 300 meters of the beach, there is a strict ordinance in the Coastal Regulatory Zone ordinance that disallows any permanent structures closer than 500 meter from the beach.

so not only was this ridiculous and stupid, it was illegal too.

of course, none of this mattered to the ELM taliban who made such a fuss about it.

i still fail to see how a gigantic statue of a white guy clown was going to be of any value, esthetic, cultural or otherwise. it was simply going to be an eyesore, and i think it was a deliberate attempt by this joker hegde somebody to get some attention. and part of the kkkangress' continuing attempts to destabilize the bjp karnataka government.

<!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin-->Meanwhile, the law and order situation in Orissa remains precarious with <b>the regime utterly failing to arrest the murderers of Swami Laxmanananda Saraswati</b>, even as a local RSS leader was also gunned down on 19 March 2009, in the same Kandhamal district.

Mr. Prabhat Panigrahi, an RSS leader arrested after riots following the murder of Swami Laxmanananda on Janmasthami last year (23 August 2008), was gunned down after his release on 14 March, by 15 armed ultras at Rudiguma village. <b>Once again, police blamed suspected Maoists, but it is time to question closely what the communal affiliation of this armed group is, given the fact that its targets are always Hindu saints or social activists serving the Hindu community.</b>

The BJP has rightly decided to make the killing of a Swami Laxmanananda Saraswati an issue in the coming elections. Ms. Sushma Swaraj has pointed to the inadequate security extended to the Sant by the Naveen Patnaik administration, even though the threat to his life was well known. <b>The Patnaik regime also went beyond the call of duty in rounding up suspects for the alleged rape of a nun, though the killers of the VHP leader have not been found so far.</b><!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->Naveen Patnaik is a crypto christo, christoconditioned, or bought by christos. Kodikkunnil’s candidature challenged

www.expressbuzz.com

KOCHI: A Division Bench of the Kerala High Court on Monday posted for instructions of the Election Commission of India on two public interest writ petitions alleging that Kodikkunnil Suresh is not a member of any Scheduled Caste community and therefore he has not been entitled to contest elections in constituencies reserved for the Scheduled Castes.

During the hearing, the Bench consisting of Chief Justice S R Bannurmath and Justice Kurian Joseph queried how Suresh was allowed to contest elections from a reserved constituency more than once in the past. One of the petitioners N Sasidharan of Poovanthuruth, Kottayam, is a member of the Mannan community, which is a Scheduled Caste, who intends to contest election from Mavelikkara Constituency where Suresh is the designated UDF candidate. The other petitioner Biju T Cherukol of Mavelikkara, a state committee member of the NCP, is aggrieved by the fact that the authorities are not taking any action on the petitions filed by him seeking action against Suresh.

Both the petitioners allege that <b>Suresh is a Christian Cheramar born to Christian parents and was baptised. But, he contested and won elections from Adoor reserved constituency using a fake caste certificate that he is a member of the Hindu Cheramar community, which is a Scheduled Caste.</b>

He was a Member of Parliament for 14 years and is going to contest the election from Mavelikkara reserved constituency for which he is disqualified as Cheramar Christian community is not a Scheduled Caste.According to Sasidharan, <b>Suresh was baptised at the Ayroorppara Malankara Catholic Church. His original name was Moniyan. As per the records of Pothenkode LVHS and his SSLC book, he is a Christian Charamar.</b>

Therefore, the direction to the Election Commission to declare that Kodikkunnil Suresh is disqualified from contesting any further election to Parliament and that his elections in the past were invalid.<b>Legal action against Suresh, including to return of the benefits received by him as a Member of Parliament, criminal action against him and the Nedumbangad tahasildar and the Vembayam village officer who issued the false caste certificate, are also sought for.</b><!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->
