<!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin-->Wrong. Christianity was a *devolution* from Greco-Roman, native American, etc. civilisations. For instance, christianism could only destroy Greek art, libraries, science and philosophy and the schools, temples, libraries in the Roman empire, and it destroyed the superior social structure of NA native Americans. Christianity introduced stupidity as something to aspire to. Its social darwinistic invention that "brute force (to push insipid ideology) is a substitute for civilisation, culture and evolution" is rather the same as islam's own number one principle.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->

You're right, if you're viewing life in terms of right vs wrong, or good vs evil which, incidentally, happens to be a Christian idea. <!--emo&Tongue--><img src='style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tongue.gif' /><!--endemo--> But there are others who measure life in terms of victory vs defeat, and conclude on this basis that a defeated civilization must've been an inferior one. Are you getting it?

<!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin-->But what does Durant know. Sureshmoorthy will argue that it was a matter of superior evolution on islam's part (sureshmoorthy: "The fact remains....people who refused to evolve were wiped out by those who did") that made the islamoterrorist invaders win over Hindu Bharat. That's on account of sureshmoorthy's viewing "All life" "in the context of Social Darwinism". Just like he will apply to the social darwinist model in arguing that the 500 Years of Indigenous Resistance was an attitude of that of losers:<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->

Think about it, and you'll know it's true. Turn the pages of Indian history, and you'll know it's true. Starting from Chauhan to the present day two-bit politician, you'll notice a familiar pattern. Hindus repeat certain mistakes, without ever caring to learn from them. And what are those mistakes? See below.

#1 <b>Not understanding the enemy, especially the enemy's ideology</b>.

Did any Hindu king, Shivaji included, ever try to get to the root cause of the problem, namely Islam? Fine, what of the modern Hindus? Not many have the capability or the willingness to do so. Even supposedly pro-Hindu orgs like RSS repeat same old platitudes like sarva dharma samabhava etc.

Doesn't this show total intellectual bankruptcy of the Hindu people? Doesn't it show that Hindus are simply unwilling to learn from their past, and evolve to another level? 1000 years ago, Chauhan lost the war due to his ignorance of Islam. In the 21st century, modern day Chauhans are losing the war due to the same ignorance. Doesn't this strike you as odd at all, I mean the fact that Hindus are either unwilling or incapable of learning and evolving?

If I point this out, does that mean I am supporting the enemy, or that I am attacking Hindus? Don't answer that, it's a rhetorical question anyway.

#2 <b>Not going for the kill</b>:

This is another mistake Hindus have been making repeatedly. Chauhan and Mrs. Gandhi share something in common here, right? This again proves my contention that a race that refuses to learn and evolve will be destroyed.

I can point to hundred such instances, where Hindus do the same old thing without even caring to think the matter through, thereby suffering terrible consequences. Doesn't this show that somewhere along the line, Hindus have simply stopped making changes for the better, as Aurobindo has alleged? He called it 'thought phobia.' But the point is: if Hindus had changed with the times, things could've been much better.

Change is the essence of life, and people who refuse to change go under. Even our lives prove this rule. Will anyone get a good job, if he studies basic programming these days? Or, must he change with the times, and acquire the knowledge and skills that are relevant to the present day? As one can notice, resistance to change will arrest a person's intellectual growth. The same goes for nations too.

<!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin-->Of course his opinion on history is "objective" rolleyes.gif - when one factors out that it's seen through the eyes of someone infatuated with social darwinism, and someone who probably knows very little about Australian Aboriginals and native Americans but will use them as an "example" in his proof for why "The fact remains....people who refused to evolve were wiped out by those who did". (Meaning: people who refused to assimilate into christoislamism. Note how joining christoislamism means 'evolving' to this social darwinist - quite predictable.)<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->

Christians and Muslims oppose evolution, so I don't see how anything as sophisticated as SD could've evolved (!) out of what you call ChristoIslamism. Reg. native Americans and aborigines, forget about what I say. It's a universal standard of measurement that we're applying here, namely:

#1 If a civilization is defeated, one concludes that it's either inferior, or there must've been a fundamental flaw in the system. In India's case, there were many such flaws such as a decentralized system, lack of leadership, too much idealism in the scriptures, lack of political ideology as a basis for action, and so forth. These flaws must be corrected, if India is to rise again.

#2 An individual (or nation/race) is judged by his accomplishments and contributions. This is unfortunate, but true. If India hadn't made contributions in various fields like math, science, religion, arts, literature etc., would you feel proud at all? Do you think Durant (your fav., I suppose), Einstein, Twain, Emerson and all those worthies would've cared to say positive things about India, if India hadn't accomplished anything?

<b>As you can see, these seem to be the universal standards by which races and nations are judged</b>. There's nothing we can do about it. Going by these standards, the world concludes that aborigines/native Americans are inferior. Some of them also conclude that Indians are inferior, because a handful of Brits could rule them. Is this unfair? Probably, but life often is. Understand that we're living in a cruel world, where goodness of the heart matters very little. The world recognizes success and power, not much else.

<!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin-->Many peoples in the world may choose to follow their traditional ways of life. But sureshmoorthy will probably side with those who insist on building schools amongst the Amazon rainforest tribes even though they already have their own system of imparting the education necessary for *their* lifes in *their* environment - an environment and way of life where most of modern education is irrelevant.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->

No one is taking sides here. But nature has her own way of giving a few blows every now and then. She tests us to see if we're qualified to survive, and these tests come in many forms. Many animals, like the dinosaurs, failed to adapt, and died out. The same principle applies to amazon tribes as well. It's NOT about right and wrong at all, it's all about survival through evolution. The aborigines and native Americans are probably the dinosaurs in the world of the modern man. And this reluctance or incapability to adapt is almost like giving an invitation to the Christian marauders to destroy them. It's that simple.

Like I said earlier, no one here is debating who's good and who's evil, whether the natives are good and the christians are evil. We're not trying to organize a Mr. Evil contest. <!--emo&Tongue--><img src='style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tongue.gif' /><!--endemo--> Our sole concern is to learn from history, doing which we can be better equipped to face these challenges.

<!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin-->Sureshmoorthy better hurry and export his grand opinions to Japan where the "dangerous" ideas of Fujiwara Masahiko on where Japan's real future lies should be stopped by all means. Sureshmoorthy can't allow Japan to prove by example that the western idea of progress as being inexorable (uncompromising) is not necessarily a way forward (but rather a sidetrack when such progress is at the expense and has been exclusive of much of Japan's native evolution of thought and life).<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->

For all its eastern exterior, Japan remains a heavily westernized nation. Even their cartoon characters look like Caucasians, not like the Japanese! Most Japanese want to look and act western. So I don't know where you get these ideas about Japan's native evolution, whatever that means. All its evolution is based on western principles.

<!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin-->And here, sureshmoorthy talks about "us Hindus" while teaching us stoopid Hindoos about the "right" way to interpret Aurobindo and the "symbolic Deva-Asura wars":<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->

I never called anyone stupid, although it's true there are many stupid people in this world. That's life. But the important thing is to interpret our scriptures properly. There are people who think deva-asura battles are mere fairy tales for children; whilst others believe that they have deeper implications. It isn't very difficult to concede that the asuras represent opposing forces, and the battle an evolutionary struggle. And Aurobindo firmly believed in this process. A cursory glance at his work "Life Divine" should prove this. But then again, Aurobindo's thoughts are too intellectually challenging for most people, which is why interpretations are necessary.

<!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin-->Question is, why doesn't sureshmoorthy stop "antagonizing others who succeeded" (=christoislamicommunistics) altogether and just convert to the "superior" (in social darwinistic POV) ideology of christoislamicommuninazism?<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->

Christianity and Islam oppose evolution. Communism stands for the false idea of equality, whereas SD believes in intrinsic differences in each individual. So SD inevitably leads to laissez faire, and is opposed to communism. So I don't know how you can relate 'christoislamicommuninazism' to SD.

<!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin-->And when sureshmoorthy says "us Hindus", who/what does he mean? Well, he makes it clear here - where he differentiates between Hinduism and Hindutva, and likes to (ideally) get rid of the 'religion' in Hinduism and make it a "non-religious, political, nationalism" (because Hindus are actually in the way of his vision, you see):<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->

This question doesn't belong here, so I've answered in the relevant thread. Please go there and read my comments.

<!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin-->Christianity and Islam oppose evolution. Communism stands for the false idea of equality, whereas SD believes in intrinsic differences in each individual. So SD inevitably leads to laissez faire, and is opposed to communism. So I don't know how you can relate 'christoislamicommuninazism' to SD.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->Communism and nazism are also said to be opposite poles (nazism is based on social darwinism - didn't ya know, see further below for link), but they are both the predictable offspring of the christianism mindvirus. Communism is said to be the opposite of objectivism as well, but the last is also a christoislami offspring, just like nazism/fascism, social darwinism. If you are only able to identify one school of thought inside christoislamism, then you don't understand the whole of the problem that the mindvirus poses.

Christoislamism carries more than merely the seeds for giving rise to nazism/fascism, communism, social darwinism (which I always include in the term nazism), objectivism - which is why christoislamism has at different times manifested *itself* in these forms. Why do christoislamics in S and C America and in Turkey and Kosovo get into communism so easily while they remain christoislamics? Why do Kosovo islamics and those in ME (Jerusalem mufti), and the Slovakian, Croatian, German and Italian catholics get into nazism/fascism and social darwinism so easily? Why do the KKK and other christo white supremacists advocate social darwinism?

You say that communism stands for "equality", but it really is a belief that "some are more equal than others" (as Orwell, disillusioned from his earlier infatuation with communism, rightly put it). That is why communism kills millions, like social darwinist nazism killed millions. As I think I stated before, the difference between the two is where the killing starts: communism begins by killing its own people (those of the same population who don't want to fall in line with its ideology) and nazism starts its killing-spree with some 'externals' - those identified as not fitting into its ideological plan.

<!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin-->So SD inevitably leads to laissez faire, and is opposed to communism.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->In so far as social darwinism is the inspiration for nazism - well, in that sense it can be said to be 'opposed' to communism (only within the christoislami worldview though). But SD and nazism, communism are still all the products of the christoislamic mindvirus, even if the offspring sometimes starts leading a life independent of the originating mindvirus.
Finally found it. Here you go: how social darwinism was the basis on which nazism was built (and eugenics, of course)
http://www.nobeliefs.com/hitler-myths.htm#myth3
<!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin--><b>Clearly, Hitler had no scientific sophistication or an understanding of Darwin's theory of evolution and his "blood-line" explanation of human "progress" reveals a Biblical view, not a Darwinian view. He did, however, at times express ideas, not from Darwin, but rather from Herbert Spencer's concept of Social Darwinism, which has little to do with natural selection and served as an adjunct to his already established religious views. Spencer's Social Darwinism tried to connect Darwin's biological theory with the field of social relations. The result of Social Darwinism resulted in many eugenics programs that began in America and adopted by the Nazis. [Note that Darwin never expressed the idea that natural selection could extend from biological systems to social systems.]</b><!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->
<!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin-->SD inevitably leads to laissez faire<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->No. That's what it <i>claims</i> (just like communism <i>claims</i> it's for equality). But in the end it always comes down to (calling for) extermination. Even Social Darwinists (and nazi-sympathizers! Quelle surprise!) playing at being scientists, like Roger Pearson and his buddy Lynn, advocate the Might (or rather, a confused idea of 'superiority') is Right principle and then come down to advocating getting rid of 'inferior races' and supporting eugenics programmes.

And on matters totally unrelated to Social Darwinism:
<!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin-->Turn the pages of Indian history, and you'll know it's true. Starting from Chauhan to the present day two-bit politician, you'll notice a familiar pattern. Hindus repeat certain mistakes, without ever caring to learn from them. And what are those mistakes? See below.

#1 Not understanding the enemy, especially the enemy's ideology.
#2 Not going for the kill<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->This has been documented already: definitely in the early encounters with islam - the Hindus fought until the VERY end: they would not leave the islami opponents alive at the end (example posted at the bottom), because they had realised the ruthlessness of looney islam. It is only in medieval times that Chauhan and some others were overwrought with pity for the enemy that they made terrible mistakes in not finishing what they started.
Fortunately, bloodshed is not always the sole option - sometimes there is time to try out other avenues that can be equally successful. Disseminating fact-based information on the terrorist ideologies is a prime one.
In any case, the Gita should be a handbook on why Dharma should not relent when upholding Dharma.

And I've always advocated learning what the enemy's ideology stands for, to realise the extent of why it must be opposed. In fact, I believe in learning from the mistakes others made in their fight against the christoislamic mindvirus in the past. I think I even posted on why it seemed that Julianus might have hit on the solution (at least he scared the church into a fit, no ordinary achievement) and that we should look into what he was trying to do.

<!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin-->You're right, if you're viewing life in terms of right vs wrong, or good vs evil which, incidentally, happens to be a Christian idea. <!--emo&Tongue--><img src='style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tongue.gif' /><!--endemo--><!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->Only christo-conditioned people would have interpreted what I said in that way.

In the Dharmic view, it is more in terms of - for lack of a better pre-existing idea in English - "Live and let live; and oppose those things that won't let live". Social Darwinism is an ideology concerned with determining who/what deserves life and continuation based on a very limited understanding of evolution and context. It has no idea of the bigger picture of where humanity came from or where its future in evolution may lie. People who hawk western progress as the measure of human success don't understand that the most adaptable, most successful humans (in terms of real evolution - that of Nature) lie in Africa and S America, SE Asia, etc. I mean, the tribal communities. They are likeliest to survive various natural calamities and many other occurrences, for example were the planet to lose current energy production (say fuel or electricity). For instance, heat waves a few years back in France killed many. Electricty disconnect in Canada killed many some years ago. Katrina Hurricane drove the region into a frenzy in the US, whereas India is able to cope better with more severe natural disasters. These are tiny problems that had a huge impact. The impending submersion of UK and other parts of the world are going to cause even greater turmoil - the kind that will mostly affect the urban, westernised populations. The impact on tribal populations is less, as they are used to roughing it. Our dependency on a myriad of factors has made us a shake nine - it's due to ultra-specialisation.

So, when it comes to evolutionary chances and adaptability, if the idea of relentless western progress is achieved, humans will have cornered themselves into a very vulnerable evolutionary dead end. We'd have reduced ourselves from a highly adapted natural diversity to a meaningless artificial uniform specialisation, and made our entire species very susceptible to any minor environmental changes that can drag us all back into the Stone Age. Uniformity in specialisation has a fatal chink: the same flaws are present in all that are thus specialised and therefore the same susceptibilities are introduced and duplicated in all. That is, if the entire world embarked on the pursuit of what west currently thinks is progress, we will all have traded in our individual community's evolutions for the same path. And if that path ever turns out to have a dead end, all in the world who'd embarked on it will become extinct together.

This forced assimilation of others is against nature. We were made diverse by nature; it is human will (push for globalisation, pushing the idea of western progress as the sole path in actual progress) that is enforcing uniformity amongst all human populations. It is this very recent western idea of "our way of progressing is the only progress, all else is backward" that is stifling natural human evolution everywhere else. One man's future need not be the same as another's. One man's path need not be the same as another's. This is a central idea in Hindu Dharma, also reiterated in the Gita.
Diversity is the key to life (and in fact, to evolutionary survival). Uniformity is unnatural - it imposes an artificial constraint on adaptability - and can easily lead to extinction, certainly to bottlenecks.
That is another reason why the Dharmic ideals of Live and Let Live and opposing those against Live and Let Live are important and imperative.

<!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin-->It isn't very difficult to concede that the asuras represent opposing forces, and the battle an evolutionary struggle. And Aurobindo firmly believed in this process. A cursory glance at his work "Life Divine" should prove this.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->Aurobindo was a foremost believer in the spiritual evolution of mankind. In fact, he believed that mankind *can* indeed transcend the petty (like excessive materialism, racism - hey, that's opposed to you!). This is abundantly clear from reading his online work at VOI. So no need to give confused lectures on stuff that's clearly explained by Aurobindo himself.
<!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin-->But then again, Aurobindo's thoughts are too intellectually challenging for most people, which is why interpretations are necessary.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->Sorry to find that you think his work is intellectually challenging, but please do not interpret for others what you find "too intellectually challenging". We are all capable of reading his works and can understand for ourselves what he has clearly set out. We certainly don't need expositions by the confused (self-styled teachers and self-appointed interpreters).

Somewhere above, I said I'd post this.
Historical Hindus accepting the fight-to-the-death scenarios that islam always enforces:

This bitter and bloody war was fought in the month of June 1033.

Upper caste and Dalit Catholics clash, police shoot and kill
by Nirmala Carvalho, 03/10/2008 13:53, INDIA
http://www.asianews.it/index.php?l=en&art=11726&size=A <!--QuoteBegin--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin-->
In Tamil Nadu upper caste Catholics attack Dalits, destroying dozens of their homes. They are "guilty" of demanding a separate parish. Police move in and fire at attackers.

New Delhi (AsiaNews) – Two Christians died and many more were wounded shot by police who intervened yesterday to stop clashes between Dalit Catholics and upper caste Catholics in the diocese of Pondicherry- Cuddalore (Tamil Nadu).

Troubles started on 7 March when a group of Dalit Christians from the Villupuram district began a hunger strike to protest discrimination in a local parish by the Vanniyar.

Three months ago Dalits from St Jabamalais Annai Church in Earyur built another church dedicated to Saghaya Madha (Our Lady of perpetual Help) and sought to have it erected as a separate parish with its own priest.

They were backed in their demands by two political groups, the Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (Vck) and Ambedkar Makkal Iyakkam (AMI). The VCK even put up posters calling for the closure of St Jabamalai and the recognition of the new parish church.

In response some 500 upper caste Christians went on a rampage on Sunday, attacking Dalits and torching over 30 huts.

Police said that when they moved in to stop the protest they were pelted with stones and were thus "forced" to open fire on the aggressors. M Periy Nayagam, 40, and A. Magimai, 24, were killed and 40 more people were wounded.

Fr G Cosmon Arokiaraj, secretary to the Commission for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes of the Catholic Bishops' Conference of India, told AsiaNews that the "confrontation in the area between Dalit and Vanniyar Catholics goes back quite some time, but the Church does not want to split a parish along caste line," but is working towards "gradually removing discrimination against the Dalits and uprooting all forms of discrimination. "

These tragic incidents show that it is urgent to ban many forms of discrimination against Dalit Christians both within the Christian community and especially society at large. In fact "since the Christian community is perceived as a single entity," he explained, "the government does not recognise to Dalit Christians the same rights as other Dalits."

In the Indian caste system, states have granted specific benefits and quotas in schools and public service for Dalits to compensate for their secular low social standing.

"For years Dalits have been discriminated within the Church itself," he said. "They cannot sit with upper caste members in the same church; they are buried in separate cemeteries; they cannot use the same roads as upper caste people. When the mother of a Dalit priest died in the 1990s the upper caste did not allow the funeral procession to use the main road; even the bishop failed to bring about a compromise."

"In India more than 65 per cent of all Christians are Dalit, but Christians represent only 2.3 per cent of a population of 1.1 billion people."
___
And this is really amusing stuff from super cretin organization AICC. Note how they turn the whole issue into blaming the plice and the government!!

The All India Catholic Union has condemned the shooting of two persons by police near Elavanasurkottai during a protest by Dalit Christians. Counter-protesters ransacked homes.

Maybe I can get a couple of them to get their heads out of their self-imposed delusional darkness, rub their eyes, blink, and try to ask their biologic and theologic fathers some questions. Please cut-paste and forward liberally.

<b>THE JESUS FAQ</b>

<b>Q:</b> Do you believe in Jesus?
<b>A: </b>No. The is plenty of very convincing evidence, and plenty of motive, for Jesus to be nothing more than a clever joke played on the messianic jews by the Romans. The Romans got the messianic jews to become good Roman citizens by giving them a messiah who was very forgiving of the Romans. With the power of the royal historians, the Roman Caesar Vespasian and his sons Titus and Domitian imposed their own life story upon the jews, passing it off as the life story of the messiah (the "christ"). Events in Jesus's life are thinly veiled peices of mockery of the jews. The Romans got the jews to worship their own degradation and humiliation that occurred in the Roman-Jewish wars. Now it makes sense why there is no evidence for the existence of Jesus (www.jesusneverexisted.com).

<b>Q:</b> If Jesus is a hoax, as you say, then all the millions out there worshipping Him as the Son of God are fools, I take it, eh?
<b>A:</b> A hundred years ago millions were perfectly convinced that black people had been "created to serve the white race". Go back some more time, and hundreds of millions were convinced that the earth is flat and that it was the center of the universe. Even today millions believe that the earth is only six thousand years old; that there were either no dinosaurs ever, or if there were some, they were drowned out in the Biblical Flood. Millions of people believing something does not make it right.

If you have enough money, you can convince people about almost anything. The Church has a lot of money to buy people off, to buy and manage hospitals, schools; to hush up scandals; to run cable channels and newspapers. Most Indian media is run by Christian Societies who have every intention of tilling the field to reap a bountiful harvest of brainwashed Indians. The Church has its conversion srategies down to a science.

<b>Q:</b> My religion is my business. Who the hell gives you the right to tell me that my Saviour is false? Please respect my rights and leave me alone.
<b>A:</b> At no point in history has Christianity respected the rights of other religions to "be left alone". Forget the inquisitions and the wiping off of large chunks of the native populations of Australia, North America, and South America; the extermination non-christian cultures by christians is in full swing today in India (my homeland). See www.christianaggression.org.

<b>Q: </b>Your Vishnu, Shiva etc are all myths too. What does it matter which myth a person believes in? Yours are OK but mine is not? That is not fair at all.
<b>A: </b>I do not force Vishnu, Shiva etc. down your throat. I dont say "Believe in Vishnu, or go to hell forever. Become Hindu and save yourself". Like you said earlier, my religion really is my business. This time for real, unlike with Christianity, which will oppress non-christians, but will pretend to be minding its own business; and will amplify a thousand-fold any perceived anti-christian resentment from non-Christians, while whitewashing the very real persecution of non-Christians at the hands of Christians.

The IMH org is mentioned many times in the documentary. What is this IMH?

The Calcutta christian missionaries have an large network for trafficking out Indian children, particularly girls to America in the name of adoption.

Shame on such orgs and the people and government of west bengal that such a criminal thing is happening right under their nose and they are not doing anything to rescue these girls.

Is this International Missionary of Hope directly linked to Mother Teresa and her missionary of charity organizations?

West Bengal urgently needs an anti-conversion legislation to prevent young girls from being abducted and then fraudently converted to christianity and then sold to wealthy americans in exchange for money by these christian missionaries.

<b>Thampu's men give up portfolios</b>

Thu, Mar 20, 2008

<b>St Stephen's College held its graduation dinner on Wednesday for the outgoing students who finish their three-year degree courses this year. What was different this year was that most of the teachers holding important portfolios in the college had resigned following officer-on-special duty Reverend Valson Thampu's resignation.</b>

College dean Nandita Narain, bursar N. Raghunathan, assistant bursar Sanjiv Grewal, academic dean Vijay Tankha, deputy dean K. M. Mathew and registrar of societies Neelam Saxena all handed in their resignation soon after Thampu put in his papers on March 15, following media reports that claimed that his PhD degree was not valid for applying for a teaching post in Delhi University. ( Remember these names. These scums will raise their head on some other EJ org}

<b>It was also claimed that Allahabad Agricultural University, from where Thampu had received his doctorate degree, did not offer Theology or Divination as a course.</b> <!--emo&:roll--><img src='style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ROTFL.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='ROTFL.gif' /><!--endemo--> {An uneducated, cheat and liar EJ caught with his pants down.}

The matter is pending in the Delhi High Court.

"We have all resigned since we had come in as a team and were selected by Rev Thampu. We have a sense of confidence in each other.

(If we had continued) We would continue to sign bills etcetera and given the atmosphere in college, we have decided to take a step back," said Narain. She, however, clarified that all the teachers will continue to help pro tem administrator M. S. Frank till a regular principal is appointed.

Meanwhile, the college is all set to withdraw its advertisement number two for the post of the principal. College spokesperson Sunil Mathews said the advertisement that appeared on March 18 in Hindustan Times did not have Bishop Sunil Kumar Singh's clearance.

The Bishop is the chairman of the Supreme Council, the apex decision-making body of the college. The advertisement once again cites age criterion of 50 years to 60 years.

The earlier advertisement, which appeared on February 12, cited the same criterion. Certain quarters had claimed they were meant to tilt things in Thampu's favour.

Last month, DU dean of colleges Nayanjot Lahiri had written to the college asking it to ensure that the criteria for appointment adhered to the university and UGC norms. "The college was under a lot of pressure to take out an advertisement.

It published this advertisement without clearance from the bishop. We will issue a fresh advertisement next week.

But those who apply after reading this week's advertisement need not worry about the fact that the last date of applying will now be May 2.

Nothing will prejudice the selection process against them," added Mathews.

link

VILLUPURAM: Exposing the deep-seated animosities and divisions within the fold, over 20,000 caste Christians of Eraiyur village have threatened to revert to Hinduism unless a seperate parish was provided to the Dalit Christians there.

A parish in Eraiyur village was devastated by violent clashes between two groups a fortnight ago. It all started with the Arch Bishop Antony Anandarayar permitting Dalit Christians to undertake a funeral procession on Church Road, a privilege they have been denied for more than a century. Amidst tight security the procession was taken out.

Protesting against this, the caste Christians have boycotted prayer sessions at the St Rosary Church for the past three days.

Anandarayar assured that none would be discriminated in church on any ground and this has not gone well with the caste Christians who have accused the bishop of not considering the sentiments of the majority. They have also stated that by the decree an age-old custom and tradition has been broken.

Meanwhile, Anandarayar has stated that politics and caste must not be allowed in Christianity and that such instances would affect peace in the village.

The caste Christians have wanted the Arch Diocese to provide a separate Parish to the Dalit Christians, who had set up St Sahaya Madha Church in the Dalit colony.

A total of 20,000 Vanniya Christians have threatened to revert to Hinduism if the Diocese ignores their demand. In this regard a memorandum has been submitted to the District Collector, DRO, RDO and Arch Diocese, Puducherry and Cuddalore.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->

Yesterday's programme for the Ecumenical Conference presented a somewhat wider variety of topics than usual. Perhaps it did not appeal to more auditors than were drawn to last week's meetings, for none of the halls or churches then had room to spare, but it brought suggestions that more than any previous day will diversify the task of the mission boards who will look to the reports for future guidance. [ END OF FIRST PARAGRAPH ]<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->Did these guys ever do anything helpful and useful purely for the sake of helping others? (Everything seems to be from selfish motives: "help them so that they might convert because they come into contact with you". Instead of "help them because they suffer from a medical disease, full-stop". If the patronised weren't "heathen races", I doubt such evangelicals would have bothered flying off to give treatment to people in colonised lands. I mean, one can see the benevolence they meted out to the African Americans in N America with their Tuskegee infect-em-with-syphilis Experiment and their medical project to sterilise-them-native-American-women.)

Oh but I forget: christianism's main objective is that jeebus must be fed and only heathens will do. The means, like doctoring, is all secondary. The motive is primary.

<!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin-->Paedophile panic hits soccer clubs in Kerala

By T.N. Raghu and V.P. Raghu

Wayanad (Kerala), March 30: Several football clubs for children in Kerala are in panic after discovering on Sunday that their Belgian coach of over four years is a paedophile who had served five years in jail for sexually abusing children back home. Jozef Achtergael, 57, was released in 2000 after doing five years of his seven-year jail term (he was released two years early for good behaviour and to undergo six months of psychiatric treatment) and landed up in Kerala the following year, became a coach for several kids’ clubs in 2004 and even began taking groups of children to Sweden and Finland "for exposure to a better game". Fortunately, so far, there has not been any adverse report relating to his Kerala stint.

When confronted by this newspaper’s reporters at a football ground at Wayanad, Jozef first flatly denied that he was a paedophile, but later broke down, pleading: "Please do not write about me and get me out of here. I love being with children just as you love being with women, don’t you understand? But I have not done anything wrong in India."

Investigations by this newspaper have revealed that Jozef had served five years in jail in Belgium for sexually abusing five children and was released in 2000. The tipoff actually came from a victim, who also supplied evidence, which came in handy to compel Jozef to confess after initially protesting that the reporters had "got the wrong guy." Once convinced there was no escape from the truth, he buried his head in his hands and broke down, pleading: "I have paid dearly for my sins. My life is finished if my story is published in the newspapers. Please, please don’t ruin my life. I love India and its people. I want to continue my association here for very long. I will not harm anyone, so trust me and let me continue my good work here."

Unaware of his antecedents, a football academy with 24 branches across Kerala to train boys in the age group of eight to 12 had engaged the Belgian as a technical director (coach). Interestingly, Jozef gave his services free and has visited Kerala 15 times in the last four years. It did not matter that he was not a regular trainer and did not possess any official coaching badge, while masquerading as an expert in the game and a specialist with child players. He is also involved with a charity NGO working with school dropout kids at the fishermen’s colony of Bheemunipatnam on the outskirts of Visakhapatnam, sources said.

"More than a hundred children of vulnerable age have been at his mercy in the various clubs in Kerala. However, we have had no complaints so far and he has been well-behaved here. Your revelation is quite shocking and we don’t know what to do. We will have to discuss the issue and decide our next course of action," said an academy official, who did not want to be identified. He said Jozef would visit Kerala every six months or so, spending two to three weeks with the young footballers.

The Belgian has purportedly been teaching the finer points of football to the boys of Kozhikode, Malappuram and Wayanad districts, his ugly past buried in distant Europe, where he had made headlines 14 years ago. A child psychologist by profession, Jozef was a much-respected man before his shocking activities came to light. The psychologist doubled up as a football coach to lure youngsters. When he was in charge of a Belgian youth club called Red Star, he was found to have abused a number of young boys in the guise of training them in football.

During his trial at Buggenhout, a small town in Belgium, Jozef was charged with sexually abusing at least five and possibly 50 children between 1984 and 1992. A local court deemed that the charges were so serious and credible that it ordered the immediate arrest of Jozef in 1994. Confronted with cast-iron proof of his client’s misdeeds, the defence lawyer gave up in court. He asked for Jozef’s internment on grounds of psychiatric problems.

The paedophile case had created a storm in Belgium, with widespread coverage given in all major newspapers to his shocking confession: "Yes, I had raped the little boys in the forest." He followed a pattern to assault the minors. After establishing his credentials as a youth football coach, he would arrange a tour for his charges to Sweden, Denmark and Finland. When the police finally caught up with him at his home, they found numerous photographs of his victims. He was released from the jail in 2000 for psychiatric treatment. Even as his sensational case started fading from public memory in Belgium, Jozef flew to India to start an association with the Kozhikode academy.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->

<b>Vaishnavite monastery body accuses Church of conversions in Majuli</b>
<!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin-->Link
Apr 2, 2008

Assam Satra Mahasabha, the apex body of Vaishnavite Satras (monasteries) in the state, has accused Christian missionaries of launching a massive conversion campaign in the river island of Majuli.

It has drawn up a programme to thwart such attempts. Stating this, Assam Satra Mahasabha president Bhadrakrishna Goswami said Majuli, which is on the verge of extinction due to massive erosion caused by the Brahmaputra, is facing a "dangerous threat" of large-scale conversion of Hindus by Christian missionaries.

"Majuli is the epicentre of Vaishnavite culture and tradition. <b>The Christian missionaries have recently converted a number of Mishing tribals by luring them with money in gross violation of established norms</b>," alleged Goswami, who is also a member of the Kendriya Marg Darshan of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad. He said a delegation of the Mahasabha would soon visit Majuli and make an assessment of the situation arising as a result of conversions.

Satradhikars of several ancient Vaishnavite Satras have expressed concern over the recent spate of conversions. <b>"Majuli is the heart of Vaishnavite religion. Hurting Majuli is like hurting the very heart of Assamese culture,"</b> said Pitambar Deva Goswami, Satradhikar of Auniati Satra and a leading Vaishnavite scholar. The Uttar Kamalabari Satra has launched a series of public meetings in the areas where the Christian missionaries have allegedly carried out conversions in the recent months .

The Catholic Church, on the other hand, has denied that it has been carrying out conversions in Majuli or elsewhere in Assam. "We have established a school and healthcare services in Majuli. But there is no intention on our part to convert anyone under any circumstances," an official of the church said.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->

Thought about where to post the following: whether in the christobrit thread or the general christo thread. Then I figured, Hey, it belongs here - what with Dimwit d'Souza having penned his gawd-awful "two cheers for colonialism" (from his obviously fiction book) famous for its making light of - actually, outright denial of through ommission and sugarcoating - the HUGE genocide the christians from Britain perpetrated in India during their christorule. If you don't know what I'm penning about, see here for Dinesh "crikey I'm brown how did that happen" D'Souza stuff.

So the following then is for the people who are sick to death of the Hindu Holocaust denier D'Souza (and his American sycophant - Christopher J. Alden "Chairman & CEO of Six Apart, Ltd., the world’s largest blogging company" - the one who was pleased to rave about D'Sauce's fictitious delirium) and want to know facts instead. You know, Facts - the stuff that D'Sauce would find hard to recognise even when it's staring him in the face. But let's not blame Dimwit 'Dinesh D'Souza' for his lying; because, as is public knowledge, he is impeded from speaking or writing facts/truth due to his debilitating christian handicap.

For the interested, here's the first chapter of The Book That Was Banned In Britain: <b>Will Durant's The Case For India</b> (1930, from the 1st edition). Searchable text.
<b>PDF Link:</b> http://www.upitus.com/download.php?file=7dde31ca (13.13 Mb, a real downloader hog, but worth it IMO)
The chapter is titled "For India".

The above contains loads of facts - reads like a horror novel! - about the greatness of christianity (as manifested in India by christoBritish colonialism) such as:
<!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin-->When the British came there was, throughout India, a system of communal schools, managed by the village communities. The agents of the East India Company destroyed these village communities, and took no steps to replace the schools; even to-day, after a century of effort to restore them, they stand at only 66% of their number a hundred years ago.109<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd--><!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin-->Hence the 93% illiteracy of India. In several provinces literacy was more widespread before the British took possession than it is now after a century and a half of British control;118 in several of the states ruled by native princes it is higher
than in British India. "The responsibility of the British for India's illiteracy seems to be beyond question."119<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd--><!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin-->The Government spends every year on education eight cents a head 113 it spends on the army eighty-three cents a head.114 In 1911 a Hindu representative, Gokhale, introduced a bill for universal compulsory primary education in India; it was defeated by the British and Government-appointed members. In 1916 Patel introduced a similar bill, which was defeated by the British and Government-appointed members; 115 the Government could not afford to give the people schools. Instead, it spent most of its eight cents for education on secondary schools and universities, where the language used was English, the history, literature, customs and morals taught were English, and young Hindus, after striving amid poverty to prepare themselves for college, found that they had merely let themselves in for a ruthless process that aimed to de-nationalize and de-Indianize them, and turn them into imitative Englishmen. The first charge on a modern state, after the maintenance of public health, is the establishment of education, universal, compulsory and free. But the total expenditure for education in India is less than one-half the educational expenditure in New York State.116 In the quarter of a century between 1882 and 1907, while public schools were growing all over the world, the appropriation for education in British India increased by $2,000,000; in the same period appropriations for the fratricide army increased by $43,000,000.117 It pays to be free.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd--><!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin-->The expense of maintaining this army, whose function is the continual subjection of India by bullets, shells and air-bombs, is borne by the Indian people. In 1926 its cost was $200,735,660-a tax of 3% on the scanty earnings of every man, woman and child in the land.

Wherever the Indian army sheds its (mostly native) blood, in Afghanistan or Burma or Mesopotamia or France (for the government is free to send it anywhere), the expense is met not by the Empire which it enlarges or defends, but by Indian revenues alone. When England had to send British troops to India in 1857 it charged India with the cost not only of transporting them, maintaining them in India, and bringing them back home, but with their maintenance in Great Britain for six months before they sailed.56 During the nineteenth century India paid $450,000,000 for wars fought for England outside of India with Indian troops. She contributed $500,000,000 to the War chest of the Allies, $700,000,000 in subscriptions to War loans, 800,000 soldiers, and 400,000 laborers to defend the British Empire outside of India during the Great War.57 In 1922 64% of the total revenue of India was devoted to this army of fratricides: Hindus compelled to kill Hindus in Burma until Burma consented to come under British rule; Hindus compelled to defend on the fields of Flanders the Empire which in every year, as will appear later, was starving ten million Hindus to death. No other army in the world consumes so large a proportion of the public revenues. In 1926 the Viceroy announced the intention of the Government to build a "Royal Indian Navy"; the proposal added that this navy should be used wherever in the Empire the British Parliament might care to send it, and that the entire cost of the navy should be met from the revenues of India.58 It pays to be free.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd--><!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin-->We can now understand why there are famines in India. Their cause, in plain terms, is not the absence of sufficient food, but the inability of the people to pay for it. Famines have increased in frequency and severity under British rule. From 1770 to 1900, 25,000,000 Hindus died of starvation; 15,000,000 of these died in the last quarter
of the century, in the famines of 1877, 1889, 1897, and 1900.185 Contemporary students186 estimate that 8,000,000 will die of starvation in India during the present year. It was hoped that the railways would solve the problem by enabling the rapid transport of food from unaffected to affected regions; the fact that the worst famines have come since the building of the railways proves that the cause has not been the lack of transportation, nor the failure of the monsoon rains (though this, of course, is the occasion), nor even overpopulation (which is a contributory factor) ; behind all these, as the fundamental source of the terrible famines in India, lies such merciless exploitation, such unbalanced exportation of goods, and such brutal collection of high taxes in the very midst of famine,137 that the starving peasants cannot pay what is asked for the food that the railways bring them.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->Really lots of things worth pasting here, but it's all there in the PDF. Besides, it's better to read it in order.

Of course, it also inevitably contains something about Oryans and how therefore N India is "the more important half of India". <!--emo&--><img src='style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/blink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='blink.gif' /><!--endemo--> Must be the same logic by which 'the northern/western hemisphere of the world is more important than everywhere/everyone else'.
But immediately after that bit he writes something common to much of 18th/19th century beliefs and also includes an admission at least that much of the maths in the west is from India:
<!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin-->that India was the mother-land of our race, and Sanskrit the mother of Europe's languages; that she was the mother of our philosophy, mother, through the Arabs, of much of our mathematics, mother, through Buddha, of the ideals embodied in Christianity, mother, through the village community, of self-government and democracy. Mother India is in many ways the mother of us all.*

(in footnoteSmile * The first volume of the author's Story of Civilization will substantiate this in detail.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->

Wow! Will Durant's book seems to be the one to read and quote from..

India has screwed itself plenty after independence, but The Case for India really shows the humongous christobrit hand in getting us there (and I am not even talking about the ultra-comprehensive loot and screwing of India by the christobrits *before* 1947).

Shambhu, reading even just those bits explains how come the christobrits banned the book.

More from the same, Revolution chapter.
About World War I, when Gandhi was into committing Indians to Britain's side in hopes of getting "Home Rule" as gratitude:
<!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin-->The suspension of the Revolutionary movement enabled England to reduce the Indian army to 15,000 men.6 The total number of Hindus who were persuaded, often by means amounting to compulsion, to fight for England in the war, was <b>1,338,620</b>, being 178,000 more than all the troops contributed by the combined Dominions of Canada, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand.7 None of the Hindu soldiers was granted a commission, however brave he might have proved himself to be.8 Yet they gave a good account of themselves in France, in Palestine, in Syria and Mesopotamia; a British historian speaks of "the brilliant performances of the Indian contingent sent to France in 1914 at a critical time in the Great War";9 and some say that it was the Hindu troops who first turned back the Germans at the Marne.10 Indian soldiers were sent even to China to fight unwillingly against their Asiatic brothers; the Legislature at Delhi questioned the Government about this, but the Government refused to answer.ll It has been one of the many misfortunes of the Hindus, who are called unfit for selfdefense, that they have been considered admirable military material to fight for any others except themselves. Never had a colony or a possession made so great a sacrifice for the master country. Every Hindu conscious of India looked forward hopefully now, as a reward for this bloody loyalty, to the admission of his country into the fellowship of free dominions under the English flag.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->Refs 8 and 10 are to Sunderland, p. 435 and p.289;
Ref 9 is to Oxford History of India, p.593.

(It goes on to explain how christoterrorist britain made promises but then went and broke them. They were possessed by their imaginary holy spook after all.)

The bullet points from that book need to be made required reading for MMS wannabees ("British rule was good for India").

I hope and pray India's young and future generations will not be as sophisticated and forward-looking as the last few generations. We need some hardnosed common sense people who will take a look at the past and derive lessons as connect more with what was. Then they will develop into people who cannot be take for a ride.
