The mosque operation, suicide blast and the recent wave of terror unleashed by extremists across the country have prompted people to think that Islamabad is no more secure. SSP Zafar Iqbal told Daily Times that three types of cordons had been put up in Islamabad - main, middle and interior. He said 70 pickets manned by 1,200 law enforcement personnel were set up in the city. Security personnel would work in two-three shifts and backup of a sufficient contingent would remain alert to deal with any emergency, he added.
