20% christian and 80% Buddhist population demography in S Korea sounds about right. I have learnt from Buddishts in S Korea that early conversion in S Korea took place under steady influx of money from USA. These foreign christian missionaries created a class of wealthy S Koreans. This wealthy elite is in control of S Korea today.
This is what they are trying to do in India as well. I have heard several unfortunate comments made towards poverty of Hindus by christian Indians.
