New Delhi, Feb 24 (ANI): At least three persons were injured when a fire broke out in a Amritsar-bound express train today morning near Deoband in Uttar Pradesh, railway officials have said.
The fire broke out in the 'S1' sleeper coach of Bilaspur-Amritsar Chattisgarh Express at 1:25 a.m. when it was about to reach Deoband Railway Station, and soon spread to other coaches, the officials said.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known. Fire tenders from nearby Muzzafarnagar and Deoband were rushed to the spot, the officials said adding the fire was put out before it could cause much damage.
Senior officials have been rushed to the spot and the injured were admitted to hospital in Deoband.
The affected coaches were detached from the train, which left Deoband at 3.15 a.m. for its onward journey.
Northern Railway officials have set up special inquiry numbers -- 011-23342954, 011-23967332 and 011-23962389.

And Now this burning of the train especially at an sensitive time when large number of muslims have gathered at deoband. Another attempt by muslims to start riots and then act as an victims.
