I am not a brahmin. but my mother tongue tamil.. I m following discussion here.

Like views encouraging brahmin women to marry non brahmin men.

We like marrying white skinned brahmin women and our childrens

become white. we come up in society. thaz why.

thank you . hope more such views in this forum so that more brahmin women will marry people like us.
Some of the aspects of the dravidian movement are

1. Self respect marriages, without brahmin priests and without sanskrit chanting

2. Burying their dead instead of cremating

3. Insistence on going back to Sangam age, 0 AD and disown all the 2000 years of tamil bakthi movement

4. Naming their kids with dravidian names instead of Hindu names - Tamil Arasan ( Tamil King ), Tamil Arasi ( Tamil queen ), Tamil Chelvan ( Tamil rich man ) - MK.Stalin gave Rs.10k to each kid that got a tamil name instead of Hindu name

People belonging to the Yadav community allegedly thrashed a Brahmin family in Mulayam Singh Yadav's (pictured) constituency Etawah

Angered by the alleged elopement of a Brahmin boy with a Yadav girl in the Samajwadi Party stronghold Etawah, members of the Yadav caste attacked the Brahmin houses in Santoshpur- Etgaon village.

The Brahmins, who are a minority in the village, were dragged through the streets with blackened faces and were made to wear garlands made of shoes.

The police came to their rescue only after six hours.

A PAC battalion has been deployed in the village even as many members of the Brahmin families fled the village.

Chandra Mahesh Bhatele, a 70-year-old villager said: "The Yadavs were angry because a Brahmin youth has allegedly eloped with a Yadav's daughter. The crowd dragged the boy's family to the street. They blackened their faces and put garlands of shoes around them.

"Later, they attacked the homes of other Brahmins and misbehaved with our women."

SSP of Etawah Rajesh Modak said: "We were informed about the incident later as the victims are scared of telling the truth. We have registered FIRs against the attackers and have started probing the case."

Meanwhile, over two dozen members of the Yadav community joined a procession in Etawah asking police to file a counter-FIR against the Brahmins.

Resisting Brahmin judges, over 15,000 advocates boycott Madras High Court proceedings

This has not happened in Kerala, Andhra or Karnataka

emanding transparency in the appointment of new judges and recalling a list of 12 names sent to the Supreme Court, over 15,000 advocates of Madras High Court on Wednesday boycotted the court proceedings.

The advocates on Tuesday had laid siege to the chambers of the Chief Justice R.K. Agarwal and shouted slogans demanding him to be transparent in the selection process.

"If only names of those short-listed are shared with the Bar, the judiciary can avoid complications and issues like this. But alas, the whole process is not transparent and that is why we have decided to agitate and boycott the court proceedings on Wednesday," R.C. Paul Kanagaraj, president, Madras High Court Advocate Association (MHAA), had said.

Another major grievance of the advocates is the inclusion of three advocates, all Brahmins, into the selection list for appointment as High Court judges.

In fact, when a group of lawyers laid siege to chief justice's chamber, they openly shouted slogans against the inclusion of three Brahmin names in the list.

"Already there are seven Brahmin judges in the Madras High Court. If three more are added, their strength will become 10 and this will constitute 15 per cent of the total strength which is 60. There are several castes and communities which are not at all represented in the list," said J. Stalin Rajendran, an agitating advocate.
