Quote:AHMEDABAD: Call it the Twitter bashers' effect or change of mind. But in less than 24 hours, former tough cop Kiran Bedi's tweets on Gujarat and chief minister Narendra Modi's fast changed from criticism to praise.
Bedi who stated twitting on Modi's fast on Thursday initially said 'Has CM taken leave of absence from work?' she twitted minutes later stating that governors could reject leave to CM's going on fast.
Bedi in her tweets also questioned who will pay for the government work suffering due to chief minister going on fast. Bedi continued to tweet on Thursday night about Modi's fast and talked about him reaching out of families in need of healing hinting at victims of riots in Gujarat.
But her Tweets drew heavy criticism from her followers on the social networking website. Her tweets were replied with remarks like 'Team Anna doesn't have the copyright or intellectual property right on fasts'.
However, Bedi seemed to have softened her stand by Friday evening when she tweeted to praise the entrepreneurial skills of Gujaratis and talked about Gujarat's vibrancy. She also tweeted that she prays for a harmonious and prosperous Gujarat.
