Times of India Washington Correspondent Chidda Rajghata and deccan Heral's LK Sharma have mocked in sharp language the Congressional hearings in Washington initiated by the Dalit Solidairty International movement. Rajghata's Page one story points to the US Katrina experience with blacks in New Orleans to rubbish the eharings while Sharma makes light of the entire effort and pillories Chritian Dalits.

Surprisoingly, while the Times of India has a massive Ingernet edition, Rajghata's story is the only one nopt put on the net. Sharma's story was part of the Heraland's internet editoon.

The hearings otherwise recived major coverage internationally.
