<!--QuoteBegin-->QUOTE<!--QuoteEBegin-->A lecture was  given in Houstonâs Rothko Chapel by this traitor last night. About 60 people were present, most of them do-gooder type whites who are disenchanted with their own religion and are seeking answers from Hinduism. There were also about 10 Indians out of which one was 100% secular type who happens to be one of the  directors of the Rothko Chapel, which sponsored this knave's trip. He was probably the mastermind behind the whole idea of getting the Swami in Houston. Then, there were two Indians who were 100% Gandhian and would never want to declare themselves to be Hindu. The rest of the 7 Indians were pro Hindu whose main intent was to "expose" the fake "swami".
Probably anticipating some kind of "trouble" from the Hindus types, the organizer had enlisted the services of an armed policeman. It is not clear if the policeman is a regular feature of such functions at the Rothco Chapel. However, it is quite conceivable that, following phone calls to the organizers prior to the event asking them to cancel the lecture, the organizers had got the police at the behest of the Swami that he would need âprotectionâ from Hindu extremists.
As the Swami opened his mouth and started to speak, most Hindus could not believe what they were hearing. There was nothing spiritual or religious about this lecture. This guy is not only anti-Hindu, but also he is also anti-India. He spoke for over one hour and, under the guise of spirituality and flaunting his saffron garb as his cover, all he did was spew venom against India, and the Hindus. He gave exaggerated and unbelievable figures of bride burning, dowry related crimes, children dying daily of starvation in India, the plight of bonded laborers, the caste system, racial discrimination, poverty, etc. To a layman or anyone who is not familiar with India, he painted an extremely negative picture of India. Many jaws dropped as he stressed that when we think of terrorism and 9/11, we must realize that only 3,800 people died whereas we must not overlook real terrorism in India where THOUSAND of children die DAILY due to starvation and where minimum wage is less than a dollar per day and grave injustice prevails in the bonded labor system.
At the request of the pro Hindu members of the audience, the organizer had allowed a 15 minute âQuestion â Answer+ session which was a sham. The swami gave long winding answers, which took up most of the time and prevented the real Hindus from asking questions. Five questions were asked, out of which three were from Americans and two from Indians. The first question from an Indian, Lal Sardana, was how come swami did not focus on the positive attributes of Hinduism? Sardana made specific reference to Shri Ramâs meeting with the âBhilniâ and eating her half eaten offerings. The swami bulldozed the question altogether and rattled on about something totally irrelevant. The 2nd question was from the Arya Samaj Acharya who asked a pointed question about Swamiâs legal case but failed to attack the swami openly which would have help expose the scoundrel.
A reception followed the lecture where there was one on one meeting with the swami. The Hindus were visibly angry. Swami was confronted with statements like âWhy are you wearing Swami Vivekanandâs garb when you are not even a Hindu? You are fooling the world, who is behind you, who is financing your anti India crusade, etcâ. When all were walking out of the chapel, the armed policeman walked up quickly to the group. He probably expected a âGujaratâ on this SOB.
Folks, this guy is doing grave damage to the image of India. He is spreading misinformation and is lowering the image of India. He must be stopped.
This is just a quick write up; as I do not have the time to go into details I am leaving for an overseas trip and have to rush now. I am sure others who were present will put in their inputs & more details will hopefully follow.
