A bomb has exploded outside a cricket stadium in the southern Indian city of Bangalore, police say.

Five people - four policemen and a security officer - were injured.

The blast happened shortly before the start of an Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket match. Police say the device was hidden in the perimeter wall.

The match was scheduled to begin at 1600 (1030 GMT) with about 40,000 people in the stadium. It has now got under way.

The Chinnaswamy Stadium is staging a match between the Bangalore Royal Challengers and the Mumbai Indians.

The team's captains were walking out on to the pitch to toss the coin to decide who would bat first when the explosion happened.

Police commissioner Shankar Bidari told a news conference that the bomb was a "low-intensity" explosive.

"It appears some sort of explosive material was hidden in the wall, some distance away from the stands.

"Four policemen have suffered minor injuries and a security guard has been seriously injured," he said.

Mr Bidari said that a section of the perimeter wall had also been damaged and that forensic experts had been called in to investigate.

The game started after security staff carried out an inspection of the grounds.

A couple of more such attacks and all IPL matches will be shifted to South Africa & elsewhere because the napumsaka indian gov't cannot provide security nor will it allow companies & individuals to make their own private security arrangements (through weapons control).

Two low-intensity explosions near a packed Chinnaswamy cricket stadium less than an hour before an IPL match left 15 persons including five security men injured and sent nervous crowds running in panic.

The start of the match between the home team Royal Challengers and Mumbai Indians was delayed by an hour and play commenced in the stadium after the police gave an all clear signal. An estimated 35,000 spectators had come to watch the game.

The explosives placed behind a plastic board near the wall outside the stadium, venue for the tie, went off 45 minutes before the start of the match at 4 pm, injuring four police personnel, a private security guard and 10 others, police said. Another small explosion took place near the Stadium.

"Two low inteNsity bombs have exploded. We are investigating ", Joint Commissioner of Police Alok Kumar told PTI.

Three injured policemen were shifted to the ICU of a private hospital. Five persons, whose eardrums were damaged due to the impact of the blast, are undergoing treatment as in-patients, hospital sources told PTI.

Seven others who had suffered bruises were discharged after first aid, sources said.

"It is a minor blast that occurred near the wall adjacent to Gate number 12. It appears that some explosive material was hidden behind a plastic board near the wall", Bangalore City Police Commissioner Shankar Bidari told reporters after visiting the spot.

Quote:United States has "credible information" about terrorists planning to carry out strike in some Indian cities and target American nationals, and US Embassy in New Delhi has issued a warning alerting its citizens, a senior Obama administration official said today.

"Yes, we have sufficient credible information," the official said when asked about the reasons for issuing of 'Warden Message' by US Embassy in New Delhi yesterday.

The relevant information has been shared with Indian Government and there is co-operation between the intelligence agencies of the two countries to jointly thwart such a terrorist threat, he added.

However, he did not specify which terrorist outfits were planning such an attack in India particularly at places where US citizens or Westerners are known to congregate or visit.

"Markets, such as those located in Chandni Chowk, Connaught Place, Greater Kailash, Karol Bagh, Mehrauli, and Sarojini Nagar, can be especially attractive targets for terrorist groups," said the Warden message issued by the US Embassy.

A red alert was sounded across the capital after the incident in which the two bikers, wearing raincoats and helmets, fired 7-8 rounds on the stationary vehicle adjacent to Gate No 3 of the mosque and 100 metres away from the house of Shahi Imam of Jama Masjid Syed Ahmed Bukhari at 11.10 am.

Police have detained one person for questioning in connection with the case. The two injured -- Cesewein (27) and Cinglo (28) -- were rushed to the nearby government Lok Nayak Jaiprakash Narayan Hospital, a senior police official said.

Cesewein (27) had a miraculous escape as the bullet grazed his head while Cinglo (28) was hit in right abdomen. The injured were part of a five-member group of tourists who work with a television channel in Taiwan and were in the capital since yesterday. They were to leave for Jaipur on Tuesday and then visit Agra and return to the capital on September 27 to take a flight back to Taiwan.

Karnal Singh, Joint Commissioner (Northern Range), told reporters that the four cartridges recovered from the spot showed that the weapon used could be .38 calibre revolver.

But the rounds of fire recovered were also of 9 mm, which can be used in pistol or carbine, he said refusing to hazard a guess on the motive of the attackers.

Rediff.com's Vicky Nanjappa adds: Two improvised explosive devices have been recovered from the blast site. The first IED was recovered from a milk container, which triggered off the explosion, while the other was found in a dustbin at the blast site.

Investigators told rediff.com that their first priority would be to sanitise the area. They are trying to find out if more explosives were planted in the area.

Varanasi: Device in milk jug caused blast:

Preliminary investigations have revealed that some device concealed in a jug containing milk caused the blast at Varanashi ghat.

The explosive material was kept on the stairs leading to the ghaat. The blast was reportedly so powerful that big boulders located nearby crashed many metres away. The bomb disposal squad has reached Sheetla Ghat.

Varanasi: Dr Shahnawaz, Bhatkal brothers emerge as main suspects

New Delhi: A day after the blast in Varanasi's Sheetla ghat killed a toddler and injured 37 others, the Mumbai Police said on Wednesday that Bhatkal brothers Riyaz and Iqbal – the chiefs of the Indian Mujahideen – had masterminded the explosion. The Bhatkal brothers are in Pakistan.

Preliminary investigations have shown the actual muscle to carry on the blasts was provided by Dr Shahnawaz, the brother of IM foot soldier Mohammed Saif who was arrested in the Batla House encounter in September 19, 2008.

In that encounter, a week after the Delhi blasts, the then IM commander Atiq Amin was killed and Saif arrested. Dr Shahnawaz, who is both in Dubai and Pakistan now, took charge thereafter. A Pakistan-trained mujahideen, Shahnawz is in regular touch with the Bhatkal brothers, sources said.

He is also involved in the Delhi, Ahmedabad and Jaipur blasts. It was widely expected that the IM terror modules that operated out of Azamgarh had been wiped out after the Batla encounter. But that is not so.

Preliminary investigations point at IM members based in the Sanjarpur-Saraimeer-Phulpur area of the Azamgarh district, just 100 kilometres from Varanasi. Dr Shahnawaz along with aides Khalid, Abu Rashid and Bada Sajid or Mohammed Sajid had fled to Nepal after the Batla House encounter. This former physician in Lucknow Hospital is purportedly now in both Dubai and Pakistan. All four now hold Nepalese passports

Meanwhile, the email in which the banned terrorist group, Indian Mujahideen, claimed responsibility for the bomb blast in Varanasi originated from the suburb Vashi in Navi Mumbai. The email which was shot to several media houses minutes after the blast was sent through an unsecured WiFi connection of the Airtel broadband, official sources have said.

The Indian Mujahideen module had hacked into a broadband Internet connection of a Navi Mumbai resident. Police sources said the Wireless Fidelity (WiFi) that was used to send the five-page email was traced to a house in sector 17, Vashi in Navi Mumbai.

The house owner's insecure WiFi was hacked into, the sources said, adding the logger of the router has been disabled so there no trace of who logged into it and hacked it. A father-son duo were picked up for questioning in connection with the email that claimed responsibility for yesterday's blast at a crowded ghat in Varanasi which killed an infant and injured 37 others.

The two were questioned and later released. Earlier, Mumbai Police Commissioner Sanjeev Dayal has said the police of Navi Mumbai and Mumbai were coordinating to trace the culprits. Terrorists of Indian Mujahideen have been using unsecured WiFi connections to send mails to media houses within minutes of blasts taking place.

The email ID used was of gmail. The mail was written on December 6 and the account has been accessed rarely, the sources said. For the first time, the email was not area specific. All others had talked about the place where blasts would occur.

The email modus operandi, sources said, was used in Ahmedabad and the Delhi serial blasts in 2008 with Mumbai chosen by IM commander Iqbal Bhatkal as the place from where emails would be sent. This also points to the fact that IM modules are still active in Mumbai and have not been uprooted after the Batla House encounter.

The device, sources said, was wrapped in polythene and kept in a crack of the stairs leading to Sheetla Ghat. While the chemical examination of the debris is still not complete, it appears prima facie to be a fertliser-based charge with low intensity output. But the device was powerful enough to blast the rock triggering a shower of stones that sped out like missiles.

Top intelligence officials believe more such devices could have been planted at different places and the email was prepared beforehand. As the email is dated December 6, 2010, the terrorists could have tried to plant the device on the Babri Masjid anniversary but may not have been able to do so because security at the ghat was high that day.

The Indian Mujahideen (IM) claimed to have carried out the Varanasi bomb blast as revenge for what it called the "biased" Babri Masjid verdict, as mentioned in the email.

Quote:Indian Mujahideen warns more attacks

New Delhi, Dec 7, (PTI):

The banned Indian Mujahideen (IM) today claimed responsibility for the blast in Varanasi, ''attributing'' it to 1992 demolition of Babri Masjid and warned of more such attacks.

In a five-page email dated yesterday and sent to media houses, the IM, which was responsible for a series of previous terror attacks in India, warned that it would carry out similar attacks "very soon".

(5-pages of islamaniac nonsense by jihadists?

Great. That's all one needs. Garrulous christoislamic terrorists: They'll talk your head off before attacking you. Both should be counted as acts of christoislamic terror against heathens.)

The mail also referred to the recent Allahabad High Court judgement on the Ram-Janamabhoomi-Babri Masjid title suit and the reported clean chit given by the Supreme Court-appointed Special Investigation Team probing the post-Godhra riots to Gujarat Chief Minister Marendra Modi.

"We have now achieved skills to teach Newton's third law in their own terms. Our youth have all reasons to be proud and pompous to shoulder our responsibilities towards the UMMAH, while our elderly can be content...," the mail said.

The IM appealed to all Muslim countries to voice their concerns regarding "oppression and injustice" allegedly inflicted by India upon the Muslims. The mail also referred to the alleged manhandling of Kashmiri leaders in some parts of the country.

Varanasi attack: Attempt to ignite communal strife

Amid all the attacks that India has faced, there is one fact that has stood the test of time. Whatever the origin, creed or scale of the attack, there has not been one incident of communal discord as a reaction.

Even in the aftermath of the horrific 26/11 attack in Mumbai, when terrorist groups from across the border went on a killing spree for almost three days leaving 173 people dead and at least 308 injured, not a hand was raised in anger or in retaliation.

(Nor any raised in justice - certainly not by the worthless christogovt of India. It's too intent upon inventing its christian fib/libel of "Hindu terror" to be bothered fighting f/actual terrorism which is of the christoislamic creed alone.)

In fact, Muslim organisations steadfastly refused to even provide a burial to the terrorists who died, emphatically stating that "the people who can commit such horrific acts cannot be considered Muslims".

(Everyone - not just muslims - knows that some visible Indian muslims only distanced themselves from the holy warriors (jihadis) whom they deeply admire because they were afraid of a backlash if they celebrated it in public - India still being a kaffir majority.

I mean, their Puppet moHAMmed - 'Peace' Smother It - *advocated* the terrorism and genocide of kaffirs, next to himself being a very hands-on terrorist leader. And they still worship him. It's him who advocated beheading the infidels - which is *why* Thai Buddhists regularly get beheaded by Thailand's islamaniacs faithfully following Mohammed's injuctions to Kill Kill Kill. Anyway, the E Jayakrishnans will one day also be offered the choice of being beheaded or circumcised. Of course seculars being cowards - like Jayakrishnan - will opt for the 2nd.)

Among the many attempts in the past, the present Varanasi attack is clearly one more to change India's track record and ignite communal strife.

Two things give the perpetrator's designs away: First, the reason cited for the attack. The e-mail from the so-called Indian Mujahideen (IM) refers to the recent Allahabad High Court judgement on the Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid title suit, and the reported clean chit given by the Supreme Court-appointed Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the post-Godhra riots to Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi.

It was feared that consequent to the High Court verdict on the Babri Masjid-Ram Janmabhoomi verdict, there would be an emotional and violent reaction by the community -- Hindu or Muslim -- whichever felt that the verdict had not been 'fair' to them.

But a largely even-handed verdict by the three judges of the Allahabad High Court, combined with a deft and adroit handling of the situation by the government ensured that not one communal incident took place.

A miracle, considering that there were concerns that an adverse perception of the verdict by any of the two communities involved would result in a blood bath.

That did not happen.

The other reason cited for the attack, of a reported clean chit to the Gujarat CM Narendra Modi by the SIT, in a case monitored by the Supreme Court, is another sensitive issue, with immense potential to polarise and divide: An alchemy that the terrorists are trying to feed on and revel in.

It makes ample sense, to those ill-disposed towards India, to harp on the 'injustice' and create a context of victimhood, where retaliation is not only warranted but a duty. Last night's attack in Varanasi and the subsequent e-mails spelling out the justification for the killing and maiming is clearly such an attempt.

Notice the venue and the occasion chosen: One of the holiest cities of the Hindus, on the banks of the Ganga; during Tuesday evening's 'maha aarti', where hundreds were in attendance. Nothing suits the IM's plans more if the two pre-dominant communities in India were to turn on each other.

But all indications are that Varanasi and India are not going to fall for the bait and India is set to prove once again that its famed resilience and sagacity are not a media-created facade.
Only the secular christo/conditioned (being condoners of terrorism) would mistake/insinuate/peddle that cowardice is "resilience" and that an inability to take action against constant terrorisms (=christoislamism) is "sagacity". Meanwhile everyone else can see that India playing sitting duck to constant christian and islamic terrorism is certain extinction of the indigenous.

Guessing it wasn't E Jayakrishnan's toddler that was blown away by islamism in this latest christoislamaniac attack on Hindus. Else I'm sure he/she/it wouldn't have penned such puke. But islam will consider his/her/its spawn for a future occasion. Something for E Jayakrishnan to look forward to. After all, every traitor - infidel though it be - will have its day, if (christo)islam has its way. (And they are the ones making way for it.)

What's amazing is how Indian seculars always congratulate both *muslims* and Hindus for not "reacting" to an islamic terrorist attack. (Exactly what muslims have to "react" to is anybody's guess.) E.g. one is told to believe that some muslims' calculated distancing of themselves from those faithful islamics who carried out the Mumbai terrorist attack that killed many - significantly Dharmic - kaffirs is 'commendable'. <- And so the secular Indian traitor - of Hindu parentage/ancestry (going by its surname) - declares that Islam should still get an award even after killing and terrorising (isn't it amazing?), even as Hindus are lectured never to retaliate (else their 'reputation' for "good" behaviour - defined as non-response, non-reaction and inaction to unacceptable christoislamic aggression - will be taken from them by the seculars monitoring and judging Hindus' every move.)

As in christoislamism, to the Indian traitors, Hindus only have a right to die. And that too silently. No anger, no retaliation - no justified reaction of any kind - allowed. While muslims are allowed (=encouraged) to terrorise, just as long as a few of them publicly repudiate such terrorism now and again - cheap words are all that is wanted from them in response (for which they will get a commendation). After all, the sham of an exclusively one-way communal harmony must be preserved. By sacrificing a few (or many) Hindus to bloodthirsty christoislamania every now and again.

So, now that islamaniacs have attacked Varanasi, is it time for heathens to finally bomb Mecca to - as the christomaniacs say - 'kingdom come' (and toss in the Vatican too, which has also done sufficient ethnic cleansing of heathens)? No?

Now now, it's no time for sensitive sentiments to get offended: that the islamamaniacs and christomaniacs (like in the NE) are most capable practitioners of terrorism is well-known, but the Vatican itself is a famous - documented - advocate of nuking heathens. (And note that the catholic bishops were *completely* in earnest.)

I quote church historian Karlheinz Deschner who makes the necessary reference to what appears to be the official Vatican II (Second Vaticanum) of the 20th century:

http://freetruth.50webs.org/D3.htm#Vietnam <- Good to read if anyone didn't know what christianism (of the catholic cult flavour) did to Buddhist Vietnam

Quote:The Vietnam War was declared as a crusade by the American bishops. Those same bishops also declared, in the second Vaticanum, that one should use the atomic bomb(!) against Vietnam to defend the Catholism there (Deschner 1986).

-- Kriminalgeschichte des Christentums - Band 1. Die Frühzeit, by Karlheinz Deschner ("The criminal history of Christianity - Volume 1. The early times")

Link: http://www.bandoli.no/warfare.htm
That was ~1960s Vietnam. It's quite recent christian history, as one can see. Always remember that christoislamism is all for *total* war. They're not playing. Heathens really should take christoislami-terrorism seriously. Christoislamism is not wayward. It's determined and relentless and will stop at absolutely nothing.

Heathens shouldn't bomb Mecca/Vatican of course, because the Vatican and Mecca are actually heathen places of worship, even though they have been temporarily (but for a long period) commandeered by christoislamism for its sham ideology. Mecca was like the Arabian version of the Roman Pantheon (Temple/Sacred Site to all the Gods), whereas the Vatican was (hence remains) a Mithraeum until the thieving christians stole it in 376 CE on the birthday celebration of Mithras on 25 December.

At least 11 people have been killed and 59 injured in a bombing at the main entrance to the Delhi high court.

Police said an improvised explosive device (IED), hidden in a briefcase and placed near the reception centre where people queue to get visitors' passes to the court complex, exploded at 10.14am on Wednesday when the entrance was at its busiest.

It is the largest attack in India's capital since a series of bomb blasts in busy markets killed 25 people three years ago..

"It has all the signs of an IED explosion set off by a terror group," the home secretary, RK Singh, said. "The crater left by the explosion shows it was a bomb of high intensity. We had no prior intelligence regarding this attack."

It is the second time this year that Delhi's high court has been targeted by terrorists. On 25 May, a bomb exploded at around the same location outside the main gate. It was a minor blast, and no one was injured.

Just as in May, no one has taken responsibility for the latest bombing and, as with the serial bomb blasts in Mumbai in July in which 26 people died and 130 were injured, investigators have yet to apprehend the conspirators behind the May blast.

The Indian prime minister, Manmohan Singh, visiting Dhaka, said: "It's a cowardly act, and we'll take suitable action."

The timing and location of the latest bombing in Delhi suggests the attackers had a good awareness of local conditions. The Delhi high court accepts public interest litigations on Wednesdays, so a large number of people had queued outside the main gates for entry into the court.

The court is less than a mile away from parliament. The house was adjourned for a while to allow the home minister, P Chidambaram, to make a statement on the latest bombing.

He told parliament it was a terror attack, but said it was too early to identity the "terror module" behind it. Hesaid investigators from the newly-created National Investigation Agency were examining what had happened.

Ten years ago, the Indian parliament was the target of a terror strike by Islamist terror groups based in Pakistan.
