<b>Terrorism has left psychological scars on military, civilians alikeâ</b>
ISLAMABAD : The government will support setting up of a modern psychotrauma research centre to deal with the psychological effects of terrorist attacks, Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani said on Saturday. Inaugurating the first international conference on psychotrauma, the premier said âwe will ensure the implementation of the Plan of Action as proposed by the conference to deal with the serious issueâ. The people of Pakistan have been traumatised by some of the worst terrorist attacks in the history. âHowever the nation has the resilience and the courage to stand up to such challenges,â Gilani told the participants of the conference titled, âTrauma in the changing world; challenges and opportunitiesâ. Gilani said the Pakistan Army was at the forefront in the war against terrorism and was confronting this trauma daily. app
