Actually, Kannur has a history of bomb attacks between communists and RSS workers few years back. All these bombs are crude bombs.

KANNUR : Kerala media in a large is trying their best to link news about seizure of 125 Bombs with killing of two RSS activist in Kannur. But the ground realities are something different.

According to the information received from reliable sources in Kanuur, RSS activists only informed S.P. Srijith about these bombs and on basis of the telephonic information S.P. Srijith ordered to raid this areas and found 125 bombs near a CPI(M) local leaders house.
The move to malign RSS and Hindu organisations are part of a larger conspiracy to divert the attention from the arrest of deadly terrorists from Kannur, the Home town of Home Minister itself.
