#61
TRS chief vows to work for fall of UPA govt.

Hyderabad (PTI): With just four days left for the trust vote in Lok Sabha, Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) president K Chandrasekhar Rao on Friday vowed to work for the fall of the UPA government and said he was in touch several key players like Mayawati and H D Deve Gowda.

Seeking a bigger role for himself in the run-up to the confidence vote in the Lok Sabha on July 22, Rao, whose party has three MPs, left for New Delhion Friday evening with a mission to rope in anti-UPA forces.

"I have been asked by Mayawati to get in touch with RLD leader Ajit Singh. If need be, I will arrange a meeting between them. I spoke to JD(S) chief Deve Gowda. BJP President Rajnath Singh also called me up," he told reporters here before leaving for the national capital.

"I would leave no stone unturned for the defeat of the UPA Government," the former Union Minister asserted.

Fence sitters will vote for secular parties, says Paswan

New Delhi (PTI): With small groups and independents maintaining suspense on which way they will vote, a senior Union Minister on Friday said "fence sitters" will side with secular parties and claimed that the government enjoyed support of 276 MPs.

"We are confident of getting 276 votes and expect even five more," LJP Chief and Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan told reporters here.

The UPA government needs 271 votes to win the trust vote on July 22.

Declining to go into details, he said UPA had more numbers in its favour than opposition NDA.

To a question, he said the UPA ally JMM, would support the government.

JMM, with five MPs, is bargaining for a cabinet berth for its chief Sibu Soren and has set certain conditions for supporting the government.

"The result of the trust vote will be in favour of the government. The government is stable and will remain stable after the confidence vote," he said.

Paswan, who is back after attending the fifth International Convention of Dalits and Minorities Forum in New York early this month, said a 16-member action committee has been constituted to fulfil the objectives of the declaration adopted there. Two MPs, a Delhi MLA and three former MPs are members of the committee headed by Paswan.

The declaration focuses on elimination of untouchability, provision of free and quality education and restoration of human rights of dalits and minorities, besides reservation in jobs in the private sector.

JD(S) MPs will oppose trust vote: Veerendrakumar

Kozhikode (PTI): All the three JD(S) MPs, including H.D. Deve Gowda, will oppose the trust vote to be sought by the UPA government in the Lok Sabha on July 22, the party's Kerala unit President M P Veerendrakumar said on Friday.

"Gowda spoke to me this morning and said the JD(S) has taken a decision to oppose the confidence vote. He also wanted me to join the other two MPs in doing so and speak in Parliament as the party's Parliamentary leader", Veerendrakumar told reporters here.

Noting that he had already made his stand clear that he would not support the trust vote, Veerendrakumar said even if there was a party whip, he would defy it and vote against the government.

He would speak against the nuclear deal in Parliament, he added.

This one is too funny..

QUOTEWith an eye to make the Rashtriya Lok Dal president Ajit Singh happy, the Union Cabinet in a crucial meeting decided to rename the Lucknow airport after his father Chaudhary Charan Singh. When asked which government had recommended renaming the airport, the finance minister said that he would have to check the papers before replying, but notes given to the media did not contain any such reference.

QUOTEIf Dr Manmohan Singh, who is perceived to be honest, can go to any extent to save the government then there is very little hope left for democracy. The Congress has put both the British and Moghuls to shame. According to me, the real Congress left with Rajiv Gandhi. What is the Congress trying now? Now they have changed the name of an airport to keep their hopes alive. It is quite unimaginable to think what they would do next. It has become more like a game of the mafia now.

This is the time to bring in the Vohra Committee report on Crimilisation of Politics into play. Each one including Dr Singh is bargaining for himself and not for the country. Worse, all this is being done for three to four months of survival. I would also like to ask as to why Rahul Gandhi, who speaks for the youth, is keeping quiet. The hopes of the youth are being dashed with this kind of politics.

Cong. Core Group meets, no Cabinet reshuffle till July 22

New Delhi (PTI): The Congress on Friday ruled out any reshuffle in the Union Council of Ministers till the trust vote on July 22 as Congress Core Group headed by party chief Sonia Gandhi met here to assess the number of MPs that the ruling UPA has on its side.

The Core Group, highest decision-making body of the Congress, met at the residence of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh for over an hour to deliberate on latest developments surrounding the government's efforts to muster majority in Parliament in the wake of withdrawal of support by Left parties.

After the meeting, top party sources scotched speculation about reshuffle in the Council of Ministers, saying there was no such move till the confidence vote on July 22.

The speculation had gained ground in view of reports that JMM and RLD were negotiating a place in the Council of Ministers in lieu of their support for the government during the trust vote.

Support of the JMM, with five MPs, and RLD, with three MPs, is crucial for survival of the government.

At the Core Group meeting, the party leadership is understood to have assessed the parties and number of MPs that would support the Confidence Motion.

Cong MP from Haryana attacks UPA, hints at voting against govt.

New Delhi (PTI): In more bad news for the UPA, Congress MP from Haryana Arvind Sharma on Friday attacked his party and the Manmohan Singh government for "targeting" BSP chief Mayawati and indicated that he may vote against the ruling coalition in the July 22 trust vote.

Criticising the Congress for cosying up with Samajwadi Party, the 45-year-old dentist-turned-MP from Karnal said he was "pained" at seeing the "falling standards" of his party.

"The government is succumbing to the pressure of Mulayam Singh and Amar Singh which is not acceptable," Sharma told reporters here.

He said the Government was using the CBI to target "popular Dalit leader" and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati at the behest of the SP leaders to remain in power.

"We are witnessing worst days of political bargaining in the country's democratic history," Sharma, who is also member of the Standing Committee on Health and Family Welfare, said.

In an indication of his closeness with Mayawati, Sharma said by targeting the UP Chief Minister, the Government has insulted the Dalits, minorities and people of Uttar Pradesh.

Asked whether his outburst against the party and the government was an indication that he may vote against the government on July 22, the Congress MP evaded a direct reply and said he was not leaving the party.

Sharma said the people of his constituency are "unhappy" with the decisions taken by his party leadership which is forcing him to "rethink" about his future course of action.

'Poaching will not affect my party MPs': Naveen

Bhubaneswar (PTI): Asserting that no one could "poach" MPs belonging to the ruling BJD, Orissa Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Friday claimed the UPA government at the Centre will lose the trust vote on July 22.

"The so-called poaching of MPs in the wake of the trust vote by the Congress-led UPA government will not affect my party MPs," Patnaik, who is also the president of the regional outfit, told reporters after returning from Delhi.

He said the UPA government did not take other political parties into confidence before going ahead with the Indo-US nuclear deal and added, "It seems that they are in a haste to finalise the deal".

Patnaik said "they (UPA government) were not clear" on the deal. They should take views of others before entering into an important agreement.

He said his party BJD, a part of the NDA, will vote against the government during the trust vote.

Replying to a question, Patnaik said his party was ready to face the elections in the event of UPA government losing the trust vote.

The ruling BJD has 11 members in Lok Sabha and its coalition partner, the BJP, has seven MPs from Orissa.

Though Patnaik exuded confidence that his party was ready for the polls, seat sharing between the two partners is yet be finaliseed.

"I am busy with other work. I will hold discussions with senior party leaders before deciding on seat sharing with the BJP," Patnaik said adding that it would take little time to finalise which partner would fight how many seats.

Of the 21 Lok Sabha seats, Congress has two seats and JMM one. Ruling BJD-BJP coalition together has 18 seats.

As numbers game gets tough, help of even sick MPs sought

New Delhi (PTI): With next week's trust vote set to go right down the wire, sick and ailing MPs may be airlifted in desperate measures by party managers.

And whose word will be final--that of the doctor or the party leadership--is just a matter of time. But party bosses are keeping their fingers crossed so that no vote is lost by default that may mar their objective.

Film star-turned-MP Dharmendra of the BJP is also being reportedly rushed from Los Angeles where is shooting for a film so that he is in time for the July 22 trust vote sought by the UPA government. in the Lok Sabha.

With fingers of party managers of rival alliances constantly at the calculators rustling the numbers, efforts were also underway by political parties to convince the Lok Sabha secretariat to allow ailing MPs to cast their vote from the Lobby of parliament house.

This concession for former prime minister and BJP veteran Atal Behari Vajpayee and others has been reportedly sought on the ground that it would be difficult for the ailing MPs to reach their respective seats in the House.

BJP's Mahesh Kanodia, who is also a well known singer, is unwell after undergoing an open heart surgery and party managers are mulling bringing him by air ambulance to Delhi.

Another MP of the saffron party Harish Chandra Chavan who is recovering from injuries in a Nashik hospital is in a precarious condition since doctors say it will take another two months for him to get better.

"I have told the party leadership and the doctors that if my conditions does not worsen by going for the trust vote by air I will surely go. But if it will, I will have to listen to my doctors and not travel," Chavan said.

A doctor attending on him said it will not be advisable for the MP to travel.

The meaning of the no reshuffle is that it will happen only after the vote. Its a signal to SP that has asked for some changes for their interests. The Lucknow airport has been renamed already to suit Charan Singh's son.
Wasnt Charan Singh pulled down by Congress in the late 70s?

Left leaders in Andhra slam UPA govt, over N-deal

Hyderabad (PTI): Leaders of the Left parties in Andhra Pradesh on Friday slammed the UPA government over the Indo-US nuclear deal, alleging the deal is against national interests.

"What national interest is served by ignoring thermal energy which is available cheaply? Secondly, with the deal, our reactors at Tarapore and Kalpakkam would go into their hands," CPI(M) state secretary B V Raghavulu said, addressing a meeting organised by the CPI and CPI(M) against the deal.

"The Samajwadi Party quotes former President A P J Abdul Kalam in support of the deal. But, Kalam favours taking advantage of the thorium reserves. Why don't you do that," he said.

The advent of the N-deal would also lead to allowing MNCs in retail trade, pension funds and media which has been put on the back burner so far under Left pressure, the CPI(M) leader said.

CPI MP and senior leader S Sudhakar Reddy demanded that the UPA government tell the nation on what basis it was gathering majority.

Citing the JMM MPs case during the reign of P V Narasimha Rao, he alleged that the Congress has history of encouraging malpractices.

WHY DOES CONG PRESIDENT SONIA SPELL GIRAFFE AS “J.I.R.A.F.”?

WHY ARE SONIA & MANMOHAN KEEN ON THE AMERICAN NUKE DEAL?

NUCLEAR VOTES

International Nuclear Businesses will profit in Billions of Dollars by partnering Indian Business Houses in setting up more than TEN Nuclear Power Plants all over India.

Political Bosses & Bussinessmen will pocket Billions of Dollars and India’s ordinary people will get 24 hours Cheapest priced Electricity from Nuclear Power Plants.

State Chief Ministers will compete with each other to ensure that Private Nuclear Power Plants would be set up in their States. Each State will ask for allotting more than One Nuclear Power Plant.

As and when the Chief Minister delivers unending Nuclear Electricity to the people the Voters would return the favour with Elections Winning Votes!

J.I.R.A.F. CARTEL GIFTS 2 BILLION DOLLARS

A J.I.R.A.F. Cartel of Japan-Italy-Russia-America-France Nuclear Power Plant Businesses and Power Brokers is keen to Profit in a Big Way from nuclear business with India.

The Cartel is keen to sell Nuclear Equipment, Nuclear Fuel. Nuclear Power Plants, Nuclear Accessories and Nuclear Know-How for Energy to India.

“The J.I.R.A.F. Cartel Gifted 2 Billion Dollars (10,000 Crores) to the Apex Congress Bosses.” – Highly Placed Sources in the Intelligence and Decision Making Systems.

Thus the India-American Nuclear Deal was conceived.

No Wonder Sonia Spells Giraffe as JIRAF!

MANMOHAN IS NOT PRIME MINISTER. MANMOHAN IS PIGS MANAGER

Sonia directed her DOORMAT Prime Minister to implement the Nuclear Deal.

Manmohan Piggishly implements everything that Sonia tells him.

Sonia told him to allow the Racketeer Ottavio Quattrochchi a Italian Fugitive from Indian Courts-Jails to withdraw 23 Crores from his Frozen London Bank Accounts.

Manmohan-Chidambaram-Hansraj Bharadwaj subverted India’s Governance, Constitution, Law and Diplomacy to force the Central Bureau of Investigation to facilitate the withdrawal of the 23 Crores by Ottavio Quattrochchi.

Sonia told Manmohan to not to allow the Extradition to India of Ottavio Quattrochchi Jailed in Argentina on an INTERPOL red Alert.

If Quattrochchi is Extradited to India and put in Tihar Jail in the company of biting tennis-Ball size Mosquitoes, without a Western Commode, with filthy water to drink, fed on food that even pigs would not eat, then Quattrochchi would squeal every Scam that Sonia was involved in and put an end to Sonia’s Politics and life outside Tihar Jail.

Manmohan-Shivraj Patil- Vijay Shankar subverted India’s Governance, Constitution, Law and Diplomacy to force the Central Bureau of Investigation to prevent the extradition of Quattrochchi.

India’s Lawyers appointed by Manmohan took orders from Quattrochchi’s Lawyers in Argentina to spoil the CBI Case for the extradition of Quattrochchi.

The Argentina court Judge often wondered, during the case, that the Lawyers of the Government of India were actually the Lawyers of Quattrochchi. They argued as if they were Quattrochchi’s Lawyers.

Sonia told Manmohan NOT to investigate the Portion of Oil gifted by Iraqi President Saddam Hussein to the Congress Party of which Sonia was President, to subvert India’s foreign Policy BUT to investigate ONLY that Portion of the Iraq Oil given to Natwar Singh.

The Volcker Report clearly indicted the Congress Party.

Manmohan-Chidambaram-Revenue Secretary Chandrasekhar subverted India’s Governance, Constitution, Law and Diplomacy to force the Revenue Intelligence, Income Tax to investigate Only the Natwar Singh Portion of the Oil and not to Investigate Sonia.

Sonia therefore will never want to replace a Doormat Prime Minister like Manmohan, Doormat Finance Minister like Chidambaram, Doormat home Minister like Lipstick Shivraj Patil and Doormat Law Minister like Hansraj Bharadwaj.

Sonia rewarded the Doormat Revenue Secretary k.M.Chandrasekhar by making him Cabinet Secretary.
Sonia will reward the loyal hound Vijay Shankar Chief of CBI with a Governorship or a better posting after he retires on 31 July.

Manmohan is just a Sonia PIGS MANAGER who stinks India’s Governance.

The UPA is the Unbridled Pigs Assemblage which has converted the Union Cabinet in to an Office of Pigs, dirtying Governance and Stinking India’s image across the Globe.

MANMOHAN IMPLEMENTS SONIA NUKE DEAL

Manmohan knew that by befriending the Americans a International Job would be ready for him, his Girlfreind Ishar and her husband Montek after he ceased to be the Prime Minister after his Misgovernance defeated the Sonia Congress in the May 2009 Lok Sabha Elections.

Manmohan went about loudly, actively and happily to make the India-US Nuclear Deal a success.

Sonia kept silent in public.
Thus giving an impression that Sonia had nothing to do with the Nuclear Deal.
Sonia conned the Media in to playing up that Manmohan was obsessed with the Nuclear Deal and that Sonia was just supporting the Government.

Left to himself Manmohan would not have gone anywhere near the Nuclear Deal.

Manmohan is a guy who enjoys the perks of office doing nothing and in the process ensuring the defeat of whoever employed him. But for Manmohan Singh Misgovernance of the economy Narasimha Rao would have not lost his Prime Ministership.

Sonia thus cunningly painted Manmohan as the hero of the Pro-U.S-Pro-Nuclear Deal Lobbies and the Villian for the Communists and all those opposed to the Nuclear Deal, President Bush and America.

SONIA’S IDIOTS

Sonia put in place a retired Police Officer M.K.Narayanan as the National Security Adviser and a Retired IFS Officer Ronnen Sen as Ambassador in Washington to negotiate with the Americans the Nuts and Bolts of the Deal.

Both the Officers are loyal Power brokers loyal to Sonia. Both their children are American Citizens.

Their First Loyalty is to America. Their second Loyalty is to Money and Position. Their Third Loyalty is to Sonia. There is no such thing as Loyalty to India!

M.K.Narayanan and Ronen Sen must be Publicly Hanged at the India Gate for betraying India to subserve America!

HORRIBLE NEGOTIATORS

These idiots negotiated the Nuclear Deal so badly, that they did not even ask the Americans to ensure that,
“Only International Law would Apply to the Nuclear Deal. Domestic Law would not take precedence over International Laws”.

Had the Indian Negotiators asked the Americans to incorporate the “Application of International Law ONLY to the Nuclear Deal” the Americans would have agreed since the Americans did agree to it in the Deal with China.

The Nuclear Deal would have then been unassailable by honest critics and even the BJP. But Narayanan and Manmohan were too engrossed in prostrating before the Americans to think of Indian interests.

Sonia escaped the Communists Attack because they were stupid to believe that the Nuclear Deal is a Manmohan Obsession and that Sonia was just going along!

INDIA-U.S. STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP IS A MUST

Politicsparty.com Supports the India-U.S. Nuclear Deal because the most important aspect is not Nuclear Energy but the Strategic Partnership between India and the U.S of A.

The Nuclear Deal Opens the Doors for a Strategic Partnership with America, makes India a Recognised Nuclear Weapons State and puts India in the Zillions of Dollars Nuclear Business Club!

The Strategic Partnership will make India a Technology, Military, Agriculture, Manufacturing, Hi-Tech, Economic Super-Power!

TAILPIECE

The Code Name for the India-U.S. Nuclear Deal is “JIRAF”!
J.I.R.A.F: JAPAN. ITALY. RUSSIA. AMERICA. FRANCE.

FINISHLINE

If You ever ask Sonia to spell Giraffe and Sonia Spells it as “JIRAF” then You know that in the interests of a India-U.S. Strategic Partnership we will live with the Mis-Spelling!

God Bless India and the Devils have a Meal of all those who oppose the India-U.S. Strategic Partnership!

History on Congress' side
July 19, 2008
With passing day, the suspense over the fate of the United Progressive Alliance at the Centre grows. The Congress, however, could have something to smile about.

Going back in time, it comes to light that the Congress has not lost a single trust vote although it has encountered such a situation over 17 times in the past.

History on Congress' side
July 19, 2008
The first of the trust votes was faced by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru in the year 1963.

The motion was moved by Socialist Party leader J B Kriplani.

Nehru, however, sailed through comfortably with a thumping majority of 347 votes.

History on Congress' side
July 19, 2008
The second Congress leader to face a no confidence vote was Indira Gandhi.

During her tenure as prime minister between 1996 and 1975 and between 1981 and 1982, she faced a total of 15 no confidence motions -- 12 during her first tenure and three during her second.

The late prime minister, however, defeated the opposition on all occasions.

History on Congress' side
July 19, 2008
The next Congress leader to face a trust vote was P V Narasimha Rao in the years 1991 and 1993.

Rao cruised through both no confidence motions. However, a can of worms -- later infamously known as the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha bribery scandal -- was opened up after the 1993 trust vote.

The 83-year-old is often credited with launching India on the path of economic reforms in 1991, having brought in the present Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to head the finance ministry.

By P.R.VIVEK
17 JULY 2008

MANMOHAN GOVT ABOUT TO BE DEFEATED

Politicsparty.com Predicts that the Manmohan Singh Government will lose the Confidence Vote on 22 July 2008.

Politicsparty.com Verified the Voting Attitude of the Lok Sabha MPs.

The Majority of the MPs are against the Sonia Congress Government.

If Manmohan Hangs around until the Voting day then he will lead the Congress to a miserable Defeat.

Politicsparty.com Predicts that Less than 265 MPs will Vote for the Manmohan Government.

Politicsparty.com Predicts that more than 274 MPs will Vote AGAINST the Manmohan Government.

Politicsparty.com Predicts that the 5 UNDECIDED MPs of JD (S) 2, Trinamul Congress 1 & National Conference 2 after failing to get their demands met, are likely to vote AGAINST the Manmohan Government.

The Above assessment does not include the large number of Mulayam’s MPs revolting to team up with Mayawati to Vote AGAINST the Government.

MANMOHAN MIGHT RESIGN ON 20 JULY

Congress President Sonia will hold an ASSESSMENT of NUMBERS Meeting on 20 July Morning.

If Sonia is convinced that the Government-Party Managers will manage the required Number of MPs then the Government will face the Confidence Vote on 22 July.

If Sonia is convinced that the Government will be defeated then, Manmohan Singh will be directed to Resign on 20 July Itself.

Sonia will then negotiate with the UPA Allies led by Sharad Pawar, Lalu Yadav, Karunanidhi and the Communists led by Prakash Karat and A.B.Bardhan to form an Anti-NDA Alternate Government headed by another Congressman.

The New Congress Prime Minister will continue the New Government until the Lok Sabha Polls in May 2009.

That Mulayam Singh seem sto be on a self defeating course. It was less than a copule of years ago that INC pulled support from his govt in UP that lead to the elections that installed BSP in power.

One should list the reasons for UPA govt go :

and for MMS to go:
