I came across Cho's insightful remarks: Vajapayee should have stayed as the PM for 3 years and allowed Advani to be the PM for 2 years. Doing this would have benefited BJP today, because it lacks a good leader now. He added, Vajpayee had Advani to campaign, but Advani has nobody to campaign for him.

That is not TOIlet. That is by GVL from LensOnNews. Don't go by the the names and their past. This is very good survey and as I said these is current state. By the INC did not gain. It lost 2% from 2009LS. As I said in my earlier post, the swings are from 2007 Assembly elections where INC did like s h i t. 2009LS onwards it is a player in UP and we should not fall for the so called scams based rhetoric.



Also LensOnNews did a pretty good survey on the political base. INC's political base is also intact inspite of 2G etc.

Sacking Yeddy is to please Sonia. BJP is Sonia's party. BJP has no future as a national party. They will never let Mody lead them. Hajpayee wanted Mody arrested and sent to jail. That shameful rotting flesh is the biggest betrayer of the Hindus. His followers rule the roost in today's national BJP and believe me my friends it will die before the INC does.

It is boring to watch anything one-sided — from a wrestling bout to a cricket match. Indian politics is facing a similar situation. The BJP is turning out to be the weakest political opponent we have had in a long time. It is boring to be an observer in Indian politics. Also, it is terrible for the nation to not have a good alternative.



This is despite the Congress doing numerous self-goals in the past two years. Scam after scam, a borderline civil unrest, rampant inflation, a smug and silent leadership and a first family that is either complicit or does not know what is going on — even if the BJP planted insiders in the Congress, they could not have engineered so many debacles.



Still, the BJP could not work the tide in its favor. People are not warming up to it. This despite having earnest BJP spokespersons, who come on TV everyday and tell us the following: Sonia Gandhi is Italian (for the nine millionth time), all Congress decisions are made by madam and everyone in the Congress party has an account in Switzerland.

I wish you are right. But the truth is I beleive the worst. There are few challengers who could be called really opposition to INC and they are being attritioned. I am sure Shiela will not go. INC agents are infiltrated everywhere and almost all the opposition is compromised or checkmated.

You have forgotton that there is the judiciary which is not in tune with the parliament. It has called the shots by arresting one minister and if anyone assumes that it the end then he is gravely mistaken.

What is the real problem in Karanataka BJP? Why does Yeddy govt repeatedly have to face trust votes even after winning the elections? Is the party divided on his leadership? So whats the real story here?
