Meo Muslims attack Chandupura Dalits, get VHP support

After violence against Dalits at Husaipur village in Rajasthan the Meo Muslims too have now attacked Dalits of Chandupura where too the violence erupted on a trivial issue.
The houses of Dalits from Jatav community were stoned for around two hours by Meo Muslims after a goat belonging to a Dalit family entered a Meo Muslimââ¬â¢s farm. Special Task Force has been deployed in the area to prevent any untoward incident. The situation in the area is tense but presently under control.
Of the many injured the condition of six Dalits remains serious. Dalits have alleged that stones were hurled at them in the presence of police and civil officers and they are concentrating more on compromise meetings instead of providing adequate relief measures.
In an unusual move the local unit of Vishwa Hindu Parishad has extended support to the Meo Muslims.

Has this been confirmed from legit sources? (Asking since Milli Gazette is an islamic mouthpiece. Not the sort of thing I'm used to taking at face value.)
Because, if true, I don't get why Hindus continue to stand for this.
Sooner or later, Indian nationalism - 'Hindutva' - always turns against Hindus (I obviously mean the heathens among those who wear the label) in order to woo their enemies.

I see that just as ABV was undermined by those who thought he wasnt good enough are at it again with NM. Do these experts know the electoral demographics?
[/quote]The question looks like it's meant for people over at vijayvaani - I suspect no one here knows (for sure) what they are and aren't aware of.
As long as Modi and co. don't make dangerous concessions to christoislamism in order to get elected, and as long as they do the Right thing thereafter, Hindus can't complain.
And if Hindus do get taken for a ride: it won't be the first time and they'd on average be no worse off than if the ones they imagined they were rooting for didn't get elected. I.e. worst case scenario: it's a choice between the "Congress A-Team" and "Congress B-Team" after all - to use phrases that were seen on the Rajeev2004 blog - and Hindus really have no one batting for them. (So what else is new.)
Hindus appear to have resigned themselves to playing the watch-and-wait game anyway: "demand the best and expect the worst". Hindsight will reveal whether this was the right tack for Hindus.
